Hi, RSN: Penusy Combats: 111 F2P/119 P2P I have been pretty much non-stop PKing since 2004. My stats aren't all that great, but there is definitely more to PKing than stats. I have experience with all kinds of PVP, you name it i've done it. My bank isn't huge, but i never let it get to a point where i can't afford to lose a few rune sets. Also, a majority of my bank worth goes onto items like claws/AGS, which are of course epic for PVP. I basically want to join a team/clan that isn't a huge commitment. I spend most of my time on RS PKing, i don't need rules/regulations to get me to events. More than anything, they just annoy me and make me feel like i'm not at an event because it will be enjoyable or i will get some laughs, but because i have to be. I play RS for fun and fun only, when it gets too serious like that it makes me quit. Hope to see some repllies :P

I agree, I mostly see the ability to kill a second nex in 1 trip, and the ~10 mins it takes to get KC to be the primary limitations. perhaps we'll see mass cannoning of zaros for lootshare KC. but regardless I don't see the kill rate ever going past 6 per hour. But look at all the loots people have been getting. It may only be 6 kills an hour, but it seems like the loots could have fairly decent drop ratios (maybe 1 in 50/100, impressive compared to the 1 in 300ish of the other GWD bosses). There can't have been more than a few of hundred kills on Nex, and there are already a good number of bows/armour pieces that have been bought or seen around ingame.

I think there are LOADS of features yet to be included in Runescape toolkits/clients. I started making one a while back, it had a lot of (what i feel were) extremely useful tools. However i got bored of Runescape and my drive to make the client died with the urge to play, it is still lurking somewhere on my PC. I may continue it one day. Here is a screenshot of the client and a couple of the features: The process killer would help if you were getting some lag, or if on startup you get unnecessary processes and want to quickly kill a few of them off. The video recorder worked very well, there was no lag from recording and there didn't seem to be any kind of loss in quality due to missing frames etc... All worked very well. I never got round to implementing the compiler, though. I started that around the same time i quit. I also built in a GE update notifier, so that users would be automatically notified of a GE update in an obvious but undisturbing manner (for example, if they were PKing or boss hunting, they wouldn't be annoyed by the alert). The update notifier runs off geupdate.com, and is checked at intervals defined by the user (minimum of 30 seconds, to prevent it causing any server issues if they client were to become popular). EDIT: Rofl, i just read the warning message on the process killer fully. It must have been the very early hours of the morning.

DFS: I find it useful for solo Bandos, but other than that i couldn't really find anywhere that dragon defender doesn't top it. BGS: Helllllllllllllllllll no. BCP: If you can't be arsed to get a torso and would rather waste a chunk of your bank, yes. Tassets: Yes, just yes.

I believe that: -Jagex are, on occasion, utter fails -People who play Runescape are unbelievably easy to scam/trick into beliving things (which is one of the reasons i support the updates, less morons (hopefully)) -The combination of the two above leads to a crazy number of logicless, moronic accusations of Jagex and a lot of Runescape players are genuinely stupid enough to believe them

I have all items frmo yo-yo onwards, excluding zombie head, chocatrice cape and warlock costume. I also have another account on which i have a sycthe. I have only ever owned a santa hat for tradeables, i got it for 7m in a trade when they were around 27m. I have no idea why the person i bought it from was happy about the trade, nor do i care :D Same here, i have missed every easter event since the chicken costume.

Woah woah woah woah woah woah woah woah woah woah woah woah woah woah... If anything, PKing has become more of a part of the game. It has become a minigame for morons to grab their dds and constantly PJ people who are actually fighting. Generally, only bored PKers used to do that, and at least they stood a chance at getting some half decent loot! I hope that it will reduce the amount of people in the wilderness, less failures 1 iteming with claws and having a 100% chance of keeping them. Hopefully the graveyard will become a bit more active, considering decent loots will become more of a rarity, and when they do come they will hopefully be nothing less than whips.

Usually to have fun you have to achieve a goal. Two examples > I won > Meh I lost but at least I played good. Their bar is just set a little bit higher. For example I don't see how anyone can have fun while getting pulverized but hey, if you can - be my guest, actually I'll be happy for you because I can't =/. Nothing personal put usually people who are "just having fun" or are saying "hey it's just a game" are the people who can't win anyways, so they instinctively set the bar lower for themselves. I don't have to win to have fun, yes i achieve a goal but often that goal is so easy to achieve it is no sort of challenge. For example, getting people kicked out of games on CoD just for the lulz. It is extremely easy to do and i have a lot of fun doing it, of course they don't however...

Their specials are easily replaced too. Bandos GodSword can be replaced by a Statius warhammer, Zamorak GodSword can be replaced with an ice barrage, Saradomin GodSword's healing abilities are weak compared to eee, bunyip or unicorn, and the prayer recovery can be done with an ancient mace. Armadyl godsword is easily replaced with korasi's or Dragon claws. Clearly the opinion of someone who has never played Runescape before.

No, no you aren't. You are attempting to prove that godswords are completely and utterly useless, which isn't trust. All weapons have advantages, just because you don't have any particular use for a godsword doesn't mean that it is automatically a worthless piece of crap for all players.

I kind of agree. not to generalize or sound like trollbait but a large proportion of pkers (RSOF types) are pretty immature and too incompetent to deal with learning how to use all of the new game mechanics to their advantage Ohhhh that is no generalisation... Any PKer will know that a majority of people you fight will most likely be an immature [wagon] in some way by the end of the fight. I know i have my moments where i get a little angry at someone for safing over and over and will get a little angry, but mostly that only happens after they intentionally antagonise me. So safe back :P I don't need to, i will still win as they will run out of food first. I find it more effective to eat when i have a good risk of death, not to annoy my opponent. I just try to make them type as much as possible in that kind of situation, saying stuff like "you safe because you can't PK". They flip out, start to concentrate more on the argument than the fight and lose track of whether i've venged or not etc...

Didn't mention the maul because i forgot, i have never been rushed by that either. Oh, thanks for the information on how quick it is to get the chaotic weapons after spending months to get the levels necessary to do so. Why can't a weapon be good for both stats and special attacks?

In all honesty, there are more immature PKers currently than i feel there used to be. You can spend under 15 seconds in PVP and be called kid, son, child, hick etc... It may not be outright offensive but the words have that annoying ring to them that no one can stand. Especially when you know it is coming frmo someone who is most likely obese, 12 and generally a spoilt brat.

1. Takes ages to get a Chaotic Weapon, whereas with godswords the only time spent is on getting the cash and buying it (you can resell and reclaim your geepees) 2. Funny how i haven't seen anyone CLS rushing recently, but i'm pretty much always getting 1 item AGS rushed 3. No special attacks, therefore no bonuses at all past the decent stats Yes, a lot of situations are unsuited for godswords, that doesn't make them crap and redundent... It makes them a [bleep]ing weapon. There are plenty of situations where i would rather use a DDS than a Dragon Scimitar, that doesn't make the scimitar instantly [cabbage]ty and not worth having.

I will be pointlessly killing so many skillers, just because i will be able to. The best part is you can't moan about it, the wild is the wild, it is meant to be dangerous. The only reason for people with your incorrect opinion on having PKing free worlds is because Jagex totally failed at making revs. Learn to Runescape.

Whats the point... Lol. They already have more than 900k yes votes, they can't say no to that. It is already planned for release within a week of the end of the referendum (as stated in the January 3rd Just The Facts in the pmod forum, don't believe it if you don't want to but it is true) and is in development. I personally can't wait. The number of 1 itemers in the wilderness will be tiny, everyone will be scared of losing their AGS :)

I really like the format of the video, very simply done, very informative and would be very easy to follow bit by bit. My tip would be a quick Sony Vegas tip (i assume you use Sony Vegas, my bad if not). Watch and follow the steps in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zl7-9qLZAsk . I'm not sure if you have already done this, if so you should just resize the Runescape screen to fit the entire YouTube player. This gives you a bit more space to work with and the black parts on the side can annoy viewers. Huge respect for making this sort of video in the first place. I think anyone who makes guides for free and to such a decent quality deserves a medal.

I have quit for pretty big periods of time in the past, and generally it is down to the fact RS is a game that i feel can become boring very easily. I play it in a fairly unique way i feel, i don't do anything for efficiency or profit etc... I will gladly run into PVP with my bank just because it would be [bleep]ing funny. I don't honestly care for my items, just the enjoyment i get out of them. When it gets to a point where i can't get anymore enjoyment, without 50 hours of straight grind etc... I will quit. I will never truly quit, because i find if i feel like a bit of scape i can always just start playing again and pick up where i left off.
