Abortion
I don't see the problem of killing something that isn't sentient? Hell, I don't see a problem of killing things that are sentient as long as they're livestock or game.

What do you think makes a good teacher?
My favorite high school teacher did not care what you did in his class and assigned homework as practice and would not check whether you did it. However, his tests were rigorous and my work ethic improved in his class.

The HIGH Road
I don't see any problems with recreational use but everyday use seems a little overkill. For one, the manipulation of dopamine levels can amplify the symptoms of mental illness. Moreover, some studies suggest that there may be a connection between certain mental illnesses such as schizophrenia and long term use of marijuana. Moderation, my friends.

Almost as funny as when they replaced the front page of epilepsy.org with a flashing graphic.

- Hungry Jacks is better than McDonalds
I highly dislike large chain fast-food restaurants because of how they tend to exploit the lower classes. The US Gov't subsidizes many of the ingredients that go into such food such as potatoes. In doing so, the cost of production goes way down and makes the product at the restaurant easier/cheaper to buy than the ingredients it takes to make it at the grocery store. The problem with this is that the poor are unable to afford healthy food and that's when health problems start to occur. Obesity and heart disease rates among them are higher than for any other socioeconomic demographic. Who fronts the bill when they get a heart attack? The taxpayers. Moreover, fast food production is horrible for the environment (more pollution comes from industrial food production than from transportation) and leads us to eating too many animal products. In fact, we eat something like six times more meat than is recommended by the FDA. Food for thought.- Halo Discussion thread
Halo 2 and all (origional xbox) LIVE accounts, connections, games, everything, has been permanently shut down. So nobody can play H2 online anymore. :|- Today...
- Do animals have morals?
Morality has no basis in socioeconomics. Behavioral conduct has existed for far longer than currency has.- Today...

I saw some strange lights when I went camping in a really remote region but that's it. Anyways, that house/church complex looks fairly unsettling to go into.- Do animals have morals?
Some primates have a rudimentary sense of morality and have been shown to share food with one another without any reward or benefit in return. POW!- Vegetarianism
I try to be a vegetarian because I care about the environment and my health but I eat meat every once in a while. - Hungry Jacks is better than McDonalds
