  1. /facepalm Don't do anything but herblore habitat. Penguins, red sallys, and falconry with a bonecrusher are all comparable exp/hr but in light of how useful jujus are its just flat out not worth doing them anymore once you hit 70.
  2. Dont use karils, waste of cash for the same offensive bonuses as black d hide and on top of that defense is almost useless there.
  3. Considering how invaluable jujus are doing anything but herblore habitat for exp once you hit 70. So don't do red sallys. Make sure you utilize all available boosts, hunter potions, the spa from oog'lag, summoning familiars. 18 k for an hour is obsenely low so im inclined to think you're either doing something wrong or have a terrible connection....
  4. Werewolf is @ 60, i used it until 70. Don't go to ape atoll until 70, you will literally gain less exp/hr at your level than you're getting currently at barbarian because you will fail so often.
  5. As a way of mixing it up between the options yes. By all means you could use it until the wildy course. Variety however is what keeps me playing so I would switch it up.
  6. Juggling wont add any exp if you also do the trick of the same level. So if you do the level 50 trick and then juggle the lvl 50 thing you will receive no exp for juggling. Best for exp is to just do one of every trick. @Q....fine buy your snapdragon seed.... :P
  7. There's no reason to spend your tickets on anything but agility exp. Make sure you use karamja gloves if you have them for the 10% boost to exp. It should be compareable exp to barbarian, depends on luck to some degree, if you fail an obstacle and thus miss getting the ticket it obviously cuts into exp/hr. Other options would be lamps/peng points/and tears of guthix. And of course make sure you do your circus every week, at 83 agility its ~10 k exp for 5 min of work.
  8. Not sure why you would list the bonecrusher in the list of appealing rewards...arcane stream necklace would have made more sense (provides a 15% boost to magic damage).
  9. Unfortunately barbarian is still your best option. To mix it up knock out like 100 tickets at the brimhaven dungeon. Otherwise try out the penguin course if you can just for variety. Switch to the wildy course as soon as you can until 60 where you can do the werewolf course. Either of those to 70 will be fine (go off of preference) where ape atolls course becomes better. Ape atoll can't be failed at 75, continue there until 80 or 81 at which point you should use pies to do gnome advanced. At 81 you can also use an abyssal lurker's special ability to do gnome advanced. Stick here until 85 or 86. Then you should pie/scroll for barbarian advanced. After you have your agile top/bottoms it doesn't matter which between the two you do to 99. The exp rates are compareable. Edit @above, ape atoll is unlocked before wildy and is not worth going to until 70. Don't just do the highest course available. The exp/hr isn't necessarily better. In this case it just flat out isn't.
  10. Get a scroll of cleansing. Buy grimy herbs. Clean them. Make into unf potions. ???? Profit! Use said profit to buy the supplies for making extremes/super antifires/spec recovers/overloads. Or wait for Q to post the way to do this with just making potions.
  11. Telegrabbing wines of zamorak. Fishing lobs/noting them on karamja. Yew cutting. Antidragon shields. Air talismans if you haven't finished rune mysteries. (This used to be a great way of gaining starting cash before free trade came back.) Do all the tasks for lumbridge for a nice chunk of change. Get members ???? profit?
  12. I would get another rapier before I got a cls. Its just that bad. /end sarcasm Go with one of the following: CKS, good items (arc stream), all convenience items (bonecrusher, herbicide), save for recharges, save for the extremely unlikely case that new rewards are ever released, ????, profit?
  13. I hate to disagree but I can't find anything to back that up anywhere. The closest thing I've found to what you're saying is the bonus exp you get for 30 minutes after catching them all. Pkmn ftw. The KB just states that they witchdoctor legs/top/mask act as camoflauge within the herblore habitat area. So does Tip.its database as well as rs wiki. Hell even the examine text on the pieces says "camouflage for the herblore habitat". http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2item_id=10736
  14. Pretty sure he meant for the camo aspect.
  15. 60 k per seed and 12 k per herb was averaging 250 k per run profit before free trade.
  16. Pretty sure the same guide I sent you to has a section on how to do a simple process of elimination to find the God jadinkos. And by pretty sure I mean 100 % positive. They can be the same as the others though I've only had it happen once. As for understanding the best way is to follow the guide on catching all 10 regular ones to the T. I learned much more quickly from doing it while I read than I did by reading alone.
  17. +1 i made that the title solely because I had just gotten done watching the robot chicken skit on it. @ringworld how is it elitist to wonder about the actual usefullness of our posting answers to questions a simple search could have found? I've no problem helping out a misinformed or underinformed player, i enjoy it actually (hence why most of my posts are in H&A), there just comes a point where you arent helping, but enabling people to remain stupid. For instance, if a street bum asks me for 5 bucks for a meal I will gladly pay for his meal. If this happens every day for a month and he hasn't even filled out a job application then Im no longer helping him, im enabling him to remain in poverty. His position is static at best and I've aquired a drain on my resources. Same principle applies to H&A
  18. Yes it does.
  19. 170 crimsons per 600 casts bursting =600 k per hour at ~ 1 k per cast. With battle robes and an sol this will be lower. Take the number of crimsons you need for 96. Divide that number by 170. Multiply that number by 600 k. There's your approximate cost. I believe that number is ~220 per 600 casts barraging. Figure out the cost per cast and do the same math as above. I would say yes you should get 99 mage. Yes someone has a setup. SoL yes, Battle robes if you're frugal on money or have them convenient.
  20. Herblore habitat is definitely the best way to go. Cost/benefit ratio is much better there. I would do all the way to 99. It will go fast as well as supplying you with enough seeds to last you for a long time. check the guide in the general guides section of the AoW for the best way to do it.
  21. As said above neither are worth it. If you have cash to burn bandos is better after a fury/berserker ring. If you don't have the cash to burn rune will suffice. To answer your actual question though it will depend on what you're training on. If you need crush defense get the chainbody, anything else get the plate.
  22. Level up on resource dungeons exp, lamps, and peng points until 50 or so. In the mean time get to 70 prayer and unlock piety. Then bind the best platebody and the best 2h you can. Set your ring up for berserker. If you're dieing on C1s you just plain don't understand combat. I never even use food for c1s. Join Dung Smith cc to get your plate and 2h of the highest tier you can bind given you probably don't have mining/smithing level to make them yourself. Merc rooms are bad luck and are a pain in the butt. Sorry bout those, jagex screwed them up. Practice makes perfect, the bottom line is this skill actually takes...skill. Who would have thought?
  23. In WoW we call this "clever use of in game mechanics". Doesn't make it any less banable but it sounds so much nicer. :)
  24. Hunter is not red chins. At this point in the skill red chins shouldn't ever be hunted except by bots and people who don't know any better. From 70 to 80 you really have a few options. 1. Red sallys are faster exp than red chins at zero profit. 2. Falconry with a bonecrusher/mousekeys to drop. 3. Penguins (not the DnD, actually hunting them). and the best option 4. Herblore habitat. In all seriousness there's never a reason to train hunter outside of HH anymore unless you're desperate for agility exp and can barehand butterflies. The juju potions you get to make are absolutely game breaking and on top of that its on par with, if not hands down, the best hunter exp in game. Edit Monkey knife fighters are the best exp all the way to 99 and they profit.
  25. Where did I actually ask what happens if you give a mouse a cookie? @the ancient, not saying we should blow people off as dumb, just wondering over how effective H&A really is when we continueally see the same sorts of questions over and over...
