Snaps with jujus and a scroll of life easily averages over 250 k per run while without its about 100 k. Getting the herbs for 50 potions is only like 5 seeds, getting those seeds however is luck. You shouldn't spread misinformation. Dragon armor isn't useless, it's some of the best non-degrading armor to own, for those who aren't extremely rich. Proselyte is only useful in prayer on 100% of the time scenarios, not general purpose fighting. Rune is weaker than dragon. Why use rune when you can use dragon? Barrows degrades, a lot of people don't mind that, but there are some that do. Yes it is, anywhere that you need a mediocre amount of defense rune armour will suffice just fine, anywhere you need the higher defense barrows is a fraction of the cost for a huge increase in defense. The degrading cost is a non issue, even if picking flax is your best money maker.

What Q said, except for its 70 zeal not 30. Also do the void quest line as you get 50 commendations and another 100 k exp to spend on prayer. You can get exp from unf pots by buying the grimy herbs first cleaning them and then making the unf pots. Personally I farm snaps with scroll of life/jujus and clean the herbs making unf pots with a scroll of cleansing and average over 250-300 k per herb run or 1.5 mil a day if I get all 6-7 runs in. Torstols can be better than snaps but you lose the ability to use a scroll of cleansing for more profit every run because torstols main use is overloads, not zammy brews. Also from what I've gathered barrows will still average over a mil per hour with your stats so Id recommend them until you have a more ideal stats/gear set up for DKs or TDs.

If that is the only patch that survives (which wont ever happen) you will stiill break even on toadflax runs. Also start buying daily stocks from shops and selling for profit on the GE (a guide can be found in the general guides section of these forums) this will make anywhere from 250-1000 k a day depending on how many prereqs for some of the shops you have done. Then work on the stats and quests for Royal Trouble which unlocks MTK to its full potential and will give about another mil a week for near zero effort. Then go do whatever you want as you'll be pulling in 1-2 mil a day with almost no effort (much higher with jujus and farming ranarr/snaps/torstol, i make over 1.5 mil a day just from snaps). If you want profitable skilling do hunter. Green sallys if banked are over the 300 k per hour you're looking for. Regular chins are better than red chins imo for cash cuz bots are an issue (at least when I was poor and had no other better money makers, which was a while ago) and finally you'll get to use herblore habitat for making some game changing potions. The farming one is just a bonus of more herbs/profit per herb run. The scentless one makes grenwall hunting very lucrative. The key is consistency and patience. The best results for anything in life are a result of consistent hard work and determination.

Don't get either, dfs is worthless for meleeing for all but wyverns (and even that is iffy if you have a chaotic maul), bgs is worthless for all but some corp teams. Spend the money on herblore or prayer.

Well to the first question the answer is because bringing up efficiency is the noob way of trying to sound intelligent, brought about by the many extremely intelligent people *looks at grimy* who actually understand what it is and how its applied. Secondly, these people possess a disorder similar to a person's every thought being translated into spoken words irl, thus if they have a thought, it gets posted. Thirdly, for what purpose are you superheating ores into bars if not for the smithing exp?

If you plant at midnight that brings you to 2 in the afternoon for your first harvest/replanting. Another 14 hours is at 4 am. Nty, so given you wake up early enough to play a little runescape (7:30) before classes/work starts you will get your next one at 9:30. 14 hours to 11:30 where you will be in classes or at work. Its silly to say half a days work when to hit it every 14 hours (which is already over half a day) you'd have to completely mess with your sleep cycle and have no time commitments for the rest of the day. The most that's feasible for anyone in school or having a job (such as the OP considering his comments on how busy his life is) is maybe getting two harvests in every other day while its much simpler to just do it once a day.

If you start the harvest and get one herb it doesn't matter if you equip the secatures later, over 1000 seeds farmed before I got my scroll of life and jujus and I've never had less than 5 except when I forgot super compost or to have my secatures equipped from the very first pick.
