Poop! I'm 200 k xp from 90 right now and I bought the black d hide for it! How many feathers do you have?

Both of my lacquer voyages came back successful so I am going to make all the headdresses I have supplies for and then finish off 90 crafting today with black dhide shields. Expect the 3 crafting level and a picture of me in my arma set up coming in ~5 hours.

90 cooking complete. I should be able to get 91 tonight and I will upload pictures then.

I'm in the process of burning sharks on my way to 93 cooking from 89. By the looks of things it should be around 1 k burnt by the time I'm done. Looking forward to helping you out.

This happens every ~10 minutes and can take 2-3 minutes of your time to get to them plus then having to get back to your island. They are better exp/hr, especially if you use a fc and sync but solo and for afk-ness I would rather just stick with my islands and if a yellow shows up that I can hop to I consider it bonus experience.

This all seems nice, I'm excited for the loyalty rewards update so I may actually be able to get some of the auras that I want *looks at penance*. Also new skills are great as its basically a free +50 boost to my total level even if I don't like it. New quest seem could be interesting. But what I really want to know... What I REALLY...REALLY want to know... is WHERE IS THE PORTS UPDATE!?!?!?

I'm going to try to do 89-93 cooking in one go today cooking sharks all the way. I've got 600 k xp worth of feathers banked or so, I'm 1.4 mil xp from 90 as it is so I may just do those and blow a small cash load on dhide shields because.... I sent out a 10 at and a 5 lacquer voyages (93 and 84% respectively) today meaning I'll be up to 208 which is enough for full death lotus. If the 10 voyage fails I'll be at 195 so I'm waiting until they both come back before I drop the cash but now its not so bad at only 21 mil or so.

PP is faster and less intensive that MKF at your level and is the best route. For spanning you basically want to focus on getting the best nodes you can while not hopping more than 1-2 islands away to get to them. Anything shifter and higher I will hop to the island for it but if a node spawns on my island I siphon it over a creature if its chaotic cloud or up.

I have I think 7k of them at the moment. I can start doing that. My question is what do they make? People use those to level magic by alching them? My intent is to help people buy items that would help them skill easier, not so much to buy items that have limits ;) The feathers are used by myself and very few others to make feather headdresses as a way of training crafting. I lose money on each one, its 20 feathers +1 coif = 1 headdress and 50 crafting exp . I have all my coifs already but I need feathers (close to 200 k of each color as is right now). Using my method of training with them its around 13 gp/xp but also around 430 k xp/hr which is as fast as dragonhide shields without the 30 gp/xp pricetag

Well I definitely will not be getting 88 runecrafting today as I just woke up. It's 4:30 in the afternoon... I did get on for ports and got a 3 chi and 3 plate voyages in addition to 2 600 jade voyages so I'll have jade totem number 3 by tomorrow and possibly number 4 if all goes well and I can sned this bout of ships out as soon as they get back in. Aldo my scroll came back successfully so I'm now 3/4 on rocktail soup.

I would buy any of the coloured feathers you can get your hands on. I'll buy them for 30 each (reds oranges and stripy are all under 20 ATM) If polarbearblu reads this I upped what I'm willing to pay since we last spoke so you'll be getting 30 each from now on as well.

At 99 thieving its very possible that the boost isn't noticeable but at 90 thieving it is. I had 3 other friends test it because they were at 90 for ports and on 10 hours of testing what I said was accurate. No need to be snippy, just say you tested it at 99 and there was no boost to it.

One possible solution, reward players who play a mini game with a bonus exp system similar to WoW's "resting exp" works while standing in an inn. Essentially removes the xp waste mentality because you're going to get double exp in what ever skill you go train (you could have to select it beforehand) in equal amount to the time you spent playing the game. It doesn't have to be double, it could be a 20%, 40% etc boost. Just something to entice people to play all the time. I would definitely start playing mini games if it meant I could then spend less time in practice training the more tedious skills. Also plus one on moving mini games to their own world(s).

I did some tests at traders when I hit 90 and without a lurker at 90 I was getting 150 k xp/hr. With one and scrolling every 2 min (you could do every min, they're cheap) I was getting 195-200 k xp/hr. At farmers you can't fail at 95+ with ardy cape 3 and gloves of silence so you won't see any improvement.

^ me I'll buy them all for 1 k gp. Stopping for he night, I earned 380 k rc exp today including my JoT, meg lamp, and spanning. I'm ~320 k from my next level. I probably won't get it until Friday if I don't get it tomorrow.

Meg came back from her adventure and brought me a huge runecrafting lamp. She's such a doll. I also spent a little time runespanning and knocked off another 100 k exp. Cashpile is up to 120.6 mil out of 1 bil now. I'm going to just work on making money through herb farming and dailies until ports skills are done, then I'm going to do range training 95-99 at Armadyl if I can manage there on soul split and full death lotus +pernix gloves/boots. Might get 88 rc tonight, its halo night with my brother so we'll see.

Well if you read my blog you probably know that I'm working on unlocking everything that Ports has to offer and now that I've got close to 200 spice I want to get 93 cooking so I don't have to waste any spices. I'm not going to be doing wines I'm not dropping 80 mil to get there in 3 hours of clicking the whole time instead of watching movies on netflix while I cook a few fish. My question is does anyone know if you succeed often enough with sharks or rocktails to make them worth doing from my level to 93 with the cooking guantlets? If it's only going to net me an additional 10 k xp/hr because I burn too many over monkfish I'll just stick with 240 k xp/hr with monks. Cheers.

I'll be back on in about 4 hours or so. I'll try to knock off another 200 k rc experience. Just finished watching Good Will Hunting for the first time. This movie is amazing.

Well #2 would also save me ~$500 a month in gas. It's 50 minutes away with no traffic so with traffic probably double that if not more. Four hours of driving a day might kill me and it's 6 grand in gas money a year not including if I drive anywhere else to go see my friends/girlfriend...

Please dear God let the ports update come in August. In other news I'm just wondering what is the highest % without random boosts anyone has gotten for the whaler duo for 10 plate. The highest I've gotten with no boosts is like 69%

I'll be finishing off 87 rc tonight and I just tweaked all my GE offers on crafting supplies so I will have exactly enough for 90 crafting once they're complete so I'll just do 87-90 in one go. Should still be about 7-9 days depending on if I can hit the cap on feathers every day. I'm pretty sure that I only don't hit the cap because there I'm literally buying all of the ones on the market... :? Got my jade totem number 2 built in ports but my special voyages blow for the day, the only one worth sending out is 25 k slayer exp which I managed to get 100% on with only 4 tiger riders. The rest I sent out on jade and cherrywood to keep working on replacing my last two totems and also getting that nautical shipwright so that I can get the extra 600-700 bonus to seafaring for my whaler voyages. I should have my pics of 87 rc up later but right now I'm off to go see wolverine with my best friend. Cheers!

To elaborate on #4 : when you are wearing full ancient ceremonial you do not need to get the KC at all. You can proceed directly to the bank. Put on prot mage just in case and run like hell, have 1-2 pieces of food just in case.
