SoA on Jad is pathetic. You have a much higher chance of killing him faster using prayer deflections (exaggeration). But really, SoA on Jad is really bad. Out of the ~ 20 Kilns ive done using SoA (thats 140 Jads) on my main, about another 8 on my Pure with Barrage (thats another 40 odd) plus 20+ Fight Caves i've found mage to be terrible. Horrible. You're better off using Melee > Ranged > Mage. Using Claws against 360's should cause no issue unless you're not using a mouse to play. Spec them from a 2-3 square distance and spam click the a spot 2-3 squares away soon as you see the exp drop. Can't mess that up, really. EDIT: Should mention that the only time i found SoA to be better than Melee vs. Jad was with the Magic Crystal from the Kiln, but sadly that's only The Kiln.

Started some Temple Trekking today. Working on those Comp Requirements. Hopefullly by the time i'm done i'll have a Lumberjack Set :P

Pretty much what mine looks like. It's quite handy. Everything i need/use is right around the Portal. Prayer up, Armour Fix right, Glory Down, Summoning + Teleports Left.

90KGs for your height seems good. I'm a walking stick basically at 6'1 and a whopping 131lbs. I've eater fast food probably 20 days out of the last 25 and i lost 7 lbs. Okay.

You're still going to get Korasi 1-itemers. Korasi is 250k and has massive potential. You're telling me people aren't going to risk 250k for the possibility of Pjing someone for 50m+? Ehh... Edit: And you still get the Rushers/1Itemers who'll run around with Claws, double claw spec and tele before you get a chance to do anything. Korasi. No. 250k is a lot of money to the average noob. You'll get people in cheap strength boosting gear for sure, but they're easy to kill or just tele from. These are almost always "anti-rushers" where they will sit with vengeance prepared to veng combo any would be claw rushers. Simply don't rush the noob in rune and a strength ammy. Teleblock + Entangle + SoA + Claws = Dead rushers. Rushers risking claws+ is what you WANT as a SoA pure. You can spot them from a mile away and lure them relatively deep to ensure they won't get away from your entangles before dieing. You have not been in the Wiildy my friend. Stop giving false information.

You typically get maxed strength claw rushers, poor rune/void clawers, ganodermic clawers and other SoA pjers. (Wait that's at 126... True as this might be, they're still not worth it. With a SoA pure you're relying on other's lack of information or their stupidity to get kills. You'r either going to need to get lucky fighting someone that has no idea how OP SoA is or you're going to need to fight someone that knows how strong it is, but is stupid enough to think he can still kill you. Most people use SoA for two things and that's PJing/Rushing. You're going to spend months working on making a pure that's going to lose you more money in combat than it's going to gain you. You're going to spend a fortune on runes each fight (assuming you get an honest fight) only for the person to Tele (and if you're lucky enough to kill someone it's going to be Rune Sets and the occasional DH set which is hardly going to cover the cost of your supplies). Now i see a lot of people saying TB and Bind/Entangle. It's not going to work every time. And even if it does, you're going to be risking a lot more than most players' bank, so you're going to get PJed from every corner of the map by someone who's going to try his luck. Now what i say might seem like total BS, but i've spent a good few hours in the Wildy the past few weeks and i've seen the state of it. There are 100's of 1-itemers running around and even more PJers. If you want to get SoA on your main for moe than just PKing, then i would fully support you all the way there, but the last thing i want to see is someone wasting their time and money on a get-rich-quick scheme. All i can say is that i hope for the sake of PKing that the combat update makes PJing and maybe even Rushing impossible.

Chris : Scene : Yup, Chris must be scene. (inb4picsofchrisfrom5yearsago) But on topic. Decided to try something fun. Wanted to do the Kiln with Welfare gear. I know this isn't exactly Welfare (Boots, Fury Kit), but it's still pretty shitty gear non the less. So Far i'm at wave 24 going strong.

This is what i usually use. My opinion, when it comes to The Kiln, keep it simple. Simplicity is the trick to a fast Kiln run.The less time you spend switching Armour, the more time you spend killing, the less food you need, the faster it becomes. You're overthinking it too much. Put away the Bandos, P Cowl and V Mask. Put away the D Def too. You're going to end up wasting Inventory spaces and time and most likely it's going to cause you trouble later on. If you need to Melee, use Virtus. Bringing Torva as well is a bad idea. Very bad. You need to keep your switches to a minimum. In my inventory you see 8 Summoning potions. If it's your first time doing the Kiln, replace 6 of them with Brews and the other 1 more with another Super Prayer. Keep on for the Dill Wave (Wave 28). if you don't take Bandos, and use Virtus to melee instead, you're going to use 1 more inventory space than i have in my setup. This is fine, you'll just have to juggle a potion for a few waves. Even if it is your first time doing the Kiln, you should be able to do it using a Steel Titan. I can't see you using more than 4 or 5 Brews getting to the boss (assuming you mess up in just about every way possible) and then another 1 or 2 on the boss itself (again, assuming you mess up in every way possible). Steel Titan takes a lot of stress away as it does an insane amount of damage on certain waves. I'm not really sure yet if Tokkul Ring and Void stack. I'm yet to try it out. But you're going to be using different armour anyway, in which case it should not really be of any concern to you now.

Well.... saw about 5 Eddimu today and managed to snipe a BN from one of them :D Pretty happy. Also managed to get 80K Tokens today, without really realising it. Not sure what i'll be spending the Tokens on at the moment. Might just let them sit there for a while till i can make up my mind.

Smart idea? I'd be using Rapier, CCBow and Broad Bolts, ABS + SoA, probably Onyx (i) too. Steel Titan instead of Yak. Might use Deflector and Bring ACP/BCP/Gano Top switches, but not sure if it's really going to be worth it. Probably use Max Cape over Tok-Haar with Alerter for when i'm ranging (cause i'm a cheap bastard and i don't want to waste bolts). Will take a few 100 Dreadnips too. Anything i should worry about/take?
