I'll have to agree with you on that. I don't see what the big deal is; If anything, he won. He got his powers back AND what he set out to accomplish came to fruition. (Not only did Jagex not win the award, but they took action on the main reason why they lost)
As long as this is a chain of continuous events, meaning that prominent players will get featured, I see nothing wrong with it. Plus, I'm interested in the challenge.
Quote (said by: Crappy Net) " When you mean special you mean killing him twice will count?" I've been told that once added, you will be "in with a chance" to receive the gloves from him. More info will come with the hotfix. :) ^Mod Emily
To be fair, they are implementing and fixing things on a short notice. I'd rather they spend one more day working on it than for another fally massacre to happen.
They sure look the part. But if the Kalphite Queen is already the third (?) most difficult boss to kill efficiently, how will the Kalphite King not suck balls?
Sounds like the old lineage II system with the cursed sword. Basically, you randomly found an ubersword that made you attack-able without any penalty by any player, and when you got killed, the winner gets the sword.
Cool, you can only use them inside the tower. That's a relief. Damn, all that was pointed out in the bts was the gloves, and yet that's the single piece of info he does not give D:
