  1. Ever since the drop rates were fixed, runescape finally got some good endgame content to keep maxed players entertained. Don't look down on that.
  2. Guess what? That time would be better spent than wildywyrms and hati wolf. You have a problem with torva being 3b, you get your stats up and go nex hunting. I don't care if torva is 3B, or even remotely desire it. Creating another torva, or the weapon coutnerpart of torva is probably even more of a waste of time considering they just released nex like 2 months ago. And what was wrong with wildy wyrms? camp-able/commodified bosses are the only thing fun now? Excuse me for wanting updates with more than 10 minutes worth of content.

  4. Jagex loves dungeoneering way too much for that to ever happen.
  5. Yeah, that's about right.
  6. And those need to change too. But there's nothing wrong with making rewards for a harder skill first, is there?
  7. It's jagex. What do you think they'll do?
  8. They stop being cost-efficient when you need them to be assigned.
  9. Fun is also subjective. You can't compare subjective things. Is that so hard to understand?
  10. If the herblore habitat is empty, people are missing out. The pots are amazing, the hunter exp is amazing, and you get more farming spots to level up with.
  11. I find slayer fun, that's why I do it. But I don't find its rewards even close to decent compared to many other skills, like dungeoneering and herblore. That doesn't mean I don't, or can't enjoy it just for the fun of it. Again, stop judging skills by what you think is rewarding. Fun isn't, and never was an objective method of comparison. If you want to figure out the rewards of the skill you need to put apart your personal beliefs on it, and compare it side by side using things that can be compared (read, exp, money, or other benefits that make it stand out from other skills). Chaotic weapons, overloads, yaks, titans, weight reducing equipment... Those are things that you can actively use to compare skills with. Even Firemaking a cooking are more usefull than slayer in dungeoneering, seeing as you can just steal a shadow silk hood or an hexhunter from a 99 slayer. They are equally useless outside of dungeoneering. There is no item you can't access with or without slayer apart from the slayer helmet, which only helps offset 15% of the experience you would have made anyway if you weren't slaying.
  12. Exp/hour and Money/hour aren't opinions. If you have fun slaying, that's great. But that doesn't make the skill more rewarding for the general population, it makes it more rewarding for you. You can't judge a skill's rewards in terms of "fun", because then you'll be giving your biased opinion on it. Factual slayer rewards (read, the money, items, and exp) are crappy compared to other skills. When you want to compare two things fairly, you have to weight in the facts, not the "fun". Also, if a new slayer item is to be dropped from a single monster, I vote on a shield that adapts to all 3 classes of the game.
  13. Slayer isn't rewarding at all. It is both less exp per hour than other methods, and less money per hour. I have almost 20 million slayer exp, so please don't generalize.
  14. Speaking of this... Is there a way to know the bones / hides I still need to collect for the horror? I've been collecting them casually, but now I don't know which ones I need anymore.
  15. Had a "this looks kinda awesome" moment.
  16. If it is a task, it should be soloable, in my opinion.
  17. I want more monsters from the abyssal and the dark realm. That's all, I haven't really thought much about it.
  18. Runescape's community is, and always has been crap. Bot affects all my skilling positively. They lower prices of resources I use to raise my buyable skills, and the non-buyable skills would make so little money compared to combat, that it wouldn't matter even if they made 3 times as much profit.
  19. If you're not taking a chaotic crossbow / ovls, expect slow and hard kills solo, and to be a leech when in a team.
  20. Yeah, nailed it. Also, you don't want to not be attacking the big bird because then he melees you.
  21. Maybe his old partner was at fault? In any case, both Woox and Stokenut are amazing.
  22. What are you talking about? Of course they do...
  23. They run a custom java client to launch runescape, not an ordinary browser.
  24. ...Why spend your tokens now when you can spend them on the weekend 2 weeks from now and get 10% extra exp?
  25. Also, wouldn't Chaotic Kiteshield be above dragonfire shield, and maybe arcane?
