  1. I find the majority of my posts lie in the general discussion forum, mainly because it's about updates and general stuff which I like to talk about. Occasionally I will go to the help and advice forum if there's any way I can help in fields I may know a bit about I.E. slayer/combat etc. other than that, I don't really view other forums. All though, I do go to the off topic forum every now and then to see if there's any new songs I can replay about 200 times before getting sick of them. I also enjoy looking at guides to see if there are any undiscovered/epic ways of training skills more efficiently etc. I also like a good debate every now and then, so I think the general discussion forum is where it's at for me.
  2. Another milestone for me. 90M attack xp. 110M xp to go till my rank is set in concrete, and 14M xp to go till level 120 :D well... at least XP wise.
  3. Ah yes the DFS. It's pretty useless imo. Most slayers use them but I think it's a waste of the +19 attack bonus you could have with a rune defender, which is extremely helpful. DFS may have +2 strength more and a lot of defence, but I prefer owning monsters faster than getting hit less - that's what healing familiars are for right? Also like others have said, the soul wars cape is very very handy. I used to wear a 99 cape, but now always wear soul wars cape in tasks which require prayer as it's +8 more than a 99 cape which is basically like another prosylete platebody. Super antifires + Chaotic Rapier if you have one or Z spear if you don't, for metal dragon tasks it is a must have for efficient slayers (not to mention it's fun pwning them :D) I think that's everything pretty much covered now
  4. You can insert your youtube video using the 'insert media' button in your editing, so people can instantly watch your vid from the thread. As for discussion value in the general forum, I think this would be more valuable in the beginning guides sub forum :) looks like a great vid btw
  5. So I heard mobilising armies is now a penetentiary prison Another great example of Z buffering
  6. Pro slayers generally turmoil every possible task, use overloads or extremes, and use cannon as much as possible. But unless you're insanely rich, it may not be worth it unless you get really good drops to cover the expenses.

Speaking of graphics This is what the abyssal whip special should be tbh: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yvw5epSmH3Q&feature=related Surely it's now possible with Z buffering to at least have a fighting animation similar to a fire poi for the abyssal whip? It would be pretty epic imo

The pic and link isn't working, could someone please post the image? :D thanks
  9. I blame bots and the climbing boots update
  10. I'm a mix between skiller and pickpocketer. I'll grab as many resources/clay as possible but if an enemy starts to mage my team I make sure to steal all their runes and hide myself in the stealthy clouds muahahahahahaha
  11. There was some post I thought was absolute brilliance to combat the bot situation. The person said Jagex should move objects (sought after by bots) a few spaces. Whether it be yew trees or whatever. I personally think it was an epic suggestion because the bots wouldn't know what to do lol, in fact they would probably walk in circles or face the corner of a wall. Jagex could change it randomly just like the g.e. so the cheaters would never be able to use bots efficiently. As for the current situation, it won't change things much. Like the saying goes... Botters gonna bot

I think the healers come back if you kill them =l So probably best to attack them and let them come after you while you hack away at Jad :D
  13. went to kill baby black dragons for slayer task and well... a picture says a thousand words
  14. I don't use effigie cc's either. I tried the main one not too long ago and there were never any people that could actually assist, so I just try daemonheim w117 everytime now. Whatever works for people though :)
  15. That newspaper is the worst fake I've ever seen. Firstly photo's aren't crystal clear in a newspaper - I mean c'mon, that photo is of the same quality as an HD television. Compare the image to the teddy bear picture below, it's faded and at LEAST newspaper-like. Second the typography is soooo wrong it's not even funny. Who uses text like that for a newspaper? It's not professional. Finally, like Wingless said, the text runs completely straight. Now that's some harry potter-esque newspaper if text can run straight when the newspaper is crinkled. Also the spelling, grammar, and 'double' xp weekend give it away as a fake. Nice try, epic fail. anyways... unspam: 87M attack xp :) hoping to get 104m eventually. Getting there!
  16. I'm glad Mino Tauros won in his category, that vid was amazing.
  17. Hmmm. To all staff: There must be huge pressure to help people out while still trying to enjoy playing Runescape (I would imagine similar to what a player mod has to deal with on a daily basis). So when people put you down for whatever reason, how do you cope with those situations?
  18. 19. Joke or not, you just shouldn't say that stuff AT ALL. How is jagex suppose to take something as serious as you 'scamming someone', as a joke? Sorry, no sympathy from me.
  20. Went from 8,064,487 craft exp to 10,694,745 xp (94-97) from cutting the emeralds I bought :D very happy with this bonus xp weekend. Will get the last 2 craft levels through assisting effigies everyday. Next up, 96 fishing for the upcoming elite diary.
  21. Court Cases are more or less miniquests so theres no hope of them being repeated over and over again. I thought jagex classed it as an activity? Well, minigame as it was previously called :D in that case it should be repeatable, but it's not :( which is a shame because it has so much potential to be great Edit: nvm it's a distraction and diversion. Still, I looked at all other D&D's and they were all available either anytime, daily, weekly or whatever. Yet court cases, you do each case once and that's it :( It should at least be available weekly :(
  22. Court cases are 'meh' unless the cases become repeatable. I would love to do the high-end court cases over and over again for XP, after all, the cases would become like clues - an extra way of gaining stuff. If they made them repeatable it would be EPIC Bonus xp weekend - Looking forward to it, although like others say, it's extremely hard to buy materials after it has been announced :( and I myself wanted to train herblore, but I've resorted to crafting instead. Which is still good. Elite Diaries - EPIC, I'm glad they're doing more high level content. For those who don't have the levels - it should ENCOURAGE you to get those levels up. I should know, I had to get my smithing level up tons to do the elite ardougne task. I'm mad when people rage saying 'omggg sooo hard', like, wtf? If I don't have the levels for high level content, I go for it until I get those levels, and I don't whine. It's a shame people do, though like the saying goes... haters gonna hate. Z buffering - Will be really great in the long run. Hopefully we'll get improved 99 emotes one day? The slayer emote needs improving, that's for sure. Each time I do the emote I get laughed at. Not cool :( Gunnar's Ground - Sounds a bit low levelled after they mentioned it being f2p =l though I'll keep up to date with all new quests nevertheless. In other news - Increased clickable area for swing ropes is great. More of these small updates make the game more convenient Overall a great month, and FINALLY no more dang dungeoneering updates that fill up the whole month! :D
  23. [hide] [/hide] My advice would be to make your cat a wily hellcat. I turned my overgrown cat which could no longer slaughter rats into a wily hellcat so it could, and it owns them. I also only use my wily hellcat for spicy stews for effigies. That way it's always killing rats when it's placed down on the floor, and also so it never turns into a lazy cat that way. But yeah kittens are really bad for catching rats. When you can, get a wily hellcat, they PWN rats :) Unspam: Sapphires ftw!! Edit: no worries :D enjoy making spicy stews =D
  24. Thatch spar :D
  25. If you can get 55m runecraft exp, I'm sure you can do anything :o good luck!
