Sucks for you. Last disconnect I had must have been weeks ago, when my internet was acting up. (ALL pages were down, not just RS) Its not the game, its you. It's actually runescapes servers, it's been happening for more and more people over the last few months without any notice - check the RAM/DRAIN CONNECTION LOSS PT2 sticky on the RSOF tech forum. But if you must know what I have or what i've done here it is: System Specs: Operating system: Microsoft Windows XP Java version: Version 6 Update 5 Processor speed: 6300 @ 1.86GHz Amount of RAM: 1.87Ghz, 2.00 GB of RAM Web browser: Internet Version 6.0 (Would use internet 7 but it won't let me play Runescape, and it makes no difference to the amount of times I disconnect) Internet Connection: ADSL - Playing on low detail (as i've always done) - Changing worlds to see if it made a difference - Switching to Internet versions 6, 7 and Mozilla Firefox - Uninstalling trend micro - No other programs running whilst playing RS - Playing at different times - Restarting, aswell as reseting the modem - Our Internet,Fone provider AND Runescape all said there's no problems at their end (although RS was an automated response) - Made sure I had the best java updates and software - Got in the computer guy to try fix the problem but couldn't find anything - still charged $140 for the call out As a last resort I also did a system restore about 2 weeks before the problem started, so that SHOULD have fixed it but it didn't so that was a BIG clue as to how it's not a problem at my end. It also just randomly happened one day, out of the blue. My connection was fine, infact I only disconnected about twice a year, now it's been more than 2,100 disconnects since the 15th of April, so no I don't think it's a problem at my end ;) also if you notice my comp specs you'll see I have a very good computer :D I'm just waiting on Mod Tron's response on the matter in a week so until then I have to put up with it.

Because currently there's no real reason to train a skill past its highest requirement, and after 6+ years you'd think there would be atleast a level 80+ armour but there isn't. That is why. Also new armour doesn't have to be better - stat wise, it can just have some awesome effects.. for example, full guthan and its heal ability. New armour could reduce damage or even do poison damage or fire damage (similar to poison damage but an orange splotch). The ideas are endless :D

Yes I was thinking about an abyssal queen level 444, considering there's tons of kings already in the game i.e. dag kings, king black drag, tz-tok-jad I guess, so we need more queens in the game. Also it could drop an abyssal tunic which could occasionally allow you to dodge high hits. I agree, if/when jagex creates higher level armour it needs to be wayyy different with more special abilities than ever.

Higher combat levels = more demand for high level updates = happy triq :lol:

People are negative towards riots because it's not only utterly pointless, but in the end, it wastes both your time and jagex's time. Case in point: See it just wasted 5 minutes of your life Problem solved, kthxbai :lol:

To be honest it looks like a dragon chain meeting the dark bow and a dragonfire shield :lol: I think it will be dropped by a dragon considering it's got the mouth like a DFS, you could say that's why i've stocked up on antifires for anticipation of the update :D I heard it was coming out in July but that was only a rumour :cry: but we can still hope :pray:

I had the same problem, but removed internet explorer 7.0 and went back to internet 6.0 and it's fine :-k

You make a good point. It would be awesome if it was like that =D And I made the picture with photoshop 7. Believe it or not there's about 50 layers in it because I had to keep duplicating certain things like the edges of the *chats frame* because they were so small, I had to make several of them =l Guys - Feel free to post your versions of what you think it will or should look like =D be sure to put your name on it multiple times like I did, with about 40% opacity on it so others don't say it's theirs =D You could also send your version of it to jagex via the main page>player submissions>gallery - so they get some ideas =D

Does WoW have a sort of player vs player thing? If so, maybe Jagex could do what they did. Btw i'm not a pker XD never will be =D I just understand where they're coming from.

Tyvm =D I had another version but the space below is empty at the moment =l but I do like that version the most. I think I could improve on the chat though, maybe switch the quick chat favourites to the right side and the normal chat to the left, I dunno lol.

You're right. I can see the fletching and attack icon but the rest is blurry at the moment - i'm sure I remember someone suggesting 2 skillcapes combined on the RSOF onetime :o

I think so. Updating my avatar still hasn't worked yet though =[ even with a 2KB file which is really weird, yet some people have theirs working fine. Even used the same image sharing websites 'n everything =l strange.

This reminds me of that thread that was titled something along the lines of "where would you be without tipit" in which i replied something like "probably asking random people how to do quests and looking at RSOF trying to find interesting topics to talk about" lol =D I don't know where i'd be without tipit, any loss will be recovered with time, i don't care that i lost 250-ish post count, and i'm sure others don't either, as it's not that important. What's more important is that we'll be able to grow from this and come back stronger =D I find it tragic that someone so high up in the rank department could just backstab us too - and not to mention make you guys lose tons of money in the process. Did they even think about us and what effects it would have on the community? Some things can be forgiven, but that was just... lets just say it's unforgivable. That person seriously needs their head pulled in.

I'll pretend I didn't hear that last sentence o_O Yes i'm afraid it will bring lag too, right now i'm disconnecting about 50 times a day, it's been going on for about 6 weeks now and just today i've come to figure out it must be jagex, as i've tried more than 20 things now and i've sent them a query. I hope full screen mode doesn't make lag even worse for me than it already is =l

Ty for the comments guys ^_^ Yes I too am glad it will be optional, thing is, I wish they could also take into considertion a quickchat sidebar like I have, that way quick chat is WAYYY easier to use, and you could add and delete phrases just like the friends and ignore lists =D I also think many might not want to use the full screen mode if they're browsing tipit or the general forum 24/7 like me XD Personally when it comes, I don't think i'll be able to decide =l

For me, I think we can make up 2 and a half-ish months worth of posts easy =D and i'm sure many will be more than happy to supply us with guides again =D the important thing is it's back up and the community can regrow =D Can't wait for the old skin layout to be back too hehe =D
