I was just reading some stuff in the graveyard when I heard about these metal gloves (steel, mith, etc). Can anyone fill me in on those and give me a rough price of them? And did dragon boots ever get released, something in my head keeps nagging me that they did but I don't see them anywhere. Thanks

Time, because I still play guild wars half the day and I can guaratee you THAT's a game that requires skill, the max lvl should already tell you that you won't win this game by having 1337 armor or weapons.

Was scammed by a "friend" out of full torag, obsidian shield, whip, @ duel arena world 41 on october 25-28 at about 9pm central time :evil:. Duel arena was my life, now that I come back I'm going to start over by getting some armor back and see if I can finsh my staking dream (stats and cash and renown :shock:) Most of all I want to see some of my old friends, I really missed them, we had some good times in castle wars, ah man the memories...

Yeah, as of today its been about 9 months since i quit last october/november, damn what a long 9 months. I've been playing guildwars and hardcore pvping in the arenas and everything else, getting the favor of the gods all that crazy stuff, and it burned me out. Then I remembered, hey, I have some friends in RS, and all the newbs I helped out long ago surpassed me in almost every skill 0.0, but they remember me :D. So yeah, I have one unread message in my private pms with rs, but when i try to check it, it doesnt show up because the filter only shows from the past 3 months, it couldve been that my scammer (lost full torag, whip, obisidna shield to him) got banned or my memebrs expired :P I guess I'll never know, anyway, I sitll haven't forgotten how much you guys like to flame, but plz give me a break, I'm back lol.

They had their laughs, when they banned me and not the guy who scammed me out of torag and a whip (8mil at the time). They have their laughs, I hope they enjoy them before RS falls apart from the AWESOME community. Off to guild wars again :D

Wow....I left for 3 months to play guild wars and when I come back................Nothing changed. Still the same [cabbage]ty community run by the same [cabbage]ty company all playing the same [cabbage]ty game. You know, I thought that runescape was acutally a good game, but realized it wasn't the fun that made me keep, playing, it was almost like an addiction lmao. Got scammed out of my torag whip and a glory. I get 3 day ban for pass scamming and nothing happens to the scammer. [cabbage]

Did jagex just make the boss alot harder or something? IN the rants section of the official forums, everyone is raising hell about something to do with the first attack being visible. Jagex screws up barrows now this, whats next :roll:

Hey, I'm 91 combat with 77 atk, 70 str, 74 def, 76 hp, 70 range, 68 mage, and 52 prayer. Could anyone recommend what I should wear there any particular tactics or whatever I should use? I have full veracs and 700k cash right now. Should I get torag and a whip and a bunch of rune arrows? Thanks!

If this is so hard for the lvl 115 that thought of the best barrows strategies, what would it be for a lvl 91 with 70 ranged :shock:

A few: This one wasn't really stupid but it was the end of the year party and there was this thing called 'jousting'. It wasn't acutally jousting but acutually this match where you swing these big pillars of soft stuff at your opponent. Well I was fighting a bigger kid (8th grade friend) and somehow he knocked me on my back and my head smashed on one of the stands in the arena. Smashed my head open but it really didn't feel different than hitting your head on something except it lasts alot longer. A few years ago before I moved, I had this friend who loved karate and [wagon] kicking. So usually during gym while all the people were dressing we would spar. Well this time we both jumped and kicked for the crotch and holy [cabbage] we were rolling on the floor in agony!!! :lol: When you jump you leave your crotch defenseless and.................ouch. A few days ago: This girl has a locker right above mine and usually she gives me a warning before she opens it but this time, some idiot put a fake spider in it. She opened it halfway and I was standing up and walking toward my class when "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK" and my face got owned :oops: . No scars or anything but it was pretty funny 8)

OK, we all have problems finding a buyer and seller for certain items either in official forums or world 2/1. I think RS should add an NPC called "merchant" in every major city's public area (varrok sq, fally east bank, etc) You tal with him and it will bring up a menu that has 2 options, buying or selling. Lets say you want to sell a rune plate for 70k. You select selling and it will bring up your bank where you select which item you want to sell, you click the item and it will be highlighted, then you click OK. Then you tell the merchant exactly what you want for it 70,000gp or dragon dagger(s), (there is a checkbox that has allow exceptions), if you are willing to take items other than the ones listed you select this one, otherwise just go on and press OK. Now lets say someone wants to buy your rune plate. He goes to the merchant and selects buying. This will generate a list of EVERYTHING for sale, then there is a filter for: item's posted for sale at this merchant only (if you only want to see results from the merchant that you accssed), armor only (dhide, platebodies, mage robes), weapons only (staffs, bows, swords), ammunition only (runes, arrows, cballs), food only>raw or cooked(fish, meat, cakes, etc), rares only (phats, masks, santas), other(logs, piks, hatchets, herbs, keys, etc). So lets say the buyer wants to see armor and weapons. He will check those 2 boxes and leave everything else unchecked. (seller will specify which category his item belongs in, hopefully there will be some way to prevent 6 raw shrimps from appearing in the same place as a dmed :roll: ) Then the buyer will see all the items posted at every merchant all across runescape in THAT world, if he wants he can check only from this merchant. Then he sees the rune plate for 70k. He will click on it and if he has what the seller specified he would accept, it will open a trade screen for the buyer and it will pop up a message to the seller similar to the teleother thing: Inureface wishes to buy your rune platebody for 70,000gp, would you like to trade now? Then while the buyer is waiting at the trade screen, the seller will either choose accpet or decline, if he accepts, his item he posted for sale will be brought from the bank into the trade screen, and the buyer's offer (which in this case is 70k) will be automatically added to the trade. The seller or buyer CANNOT remove or add to the items in the trade (to help prevent scamming). Once both buyer and seller sees everything is OK, they both accept, then they will be brought to the 2nd trade screen for final confirmation, then accept. The items will be deposited in the buyer and sellers' inventory or bank whichever they choose in the settings area (the menu with the accept aid and music vol). Then the trade will be removed from the merchants list and everyone is happy =) Now I need to clarify the part about accept other items. Lets say you posted selling dmed 1mil, but checked the box that says allow exceptions. When the buyer contacts the seller, he will post stuff in the trade screen from his bank and the seller will see if all is satisfactory. To prevent unwanted trade requests or whatever, you will be able to set wheter you are recieving "merchant trades" at the current time just like private chat (on, friends, or off). I will be trying to make some graphic representations of this in my spare time, in the meantime please add ideas or modify what I suggested, I know its big, but it will make selling and buying things much more organized.

Even though I'm a member, I agree that you guys should have the capes, but if any Jagex guy comes here and sees how many people want capes for f2p, he will know that leaving the capes for members will be a HUGE incentive for you to become one. So this topic was kinda a bad idea :?
