It sounds like you didn't adjust for the changes. Use gear equivalent for your level, work out the correct strategies, get used to the whole concept of using abilities in combat and then try again. Glacors are a boss creature, and therefore you cannot power through them without utilizing the new combat features.

I'm not sure about accounthelp@jagex, but recently I had some trouble with the JAG and when I emailed [email protected] I got a response within 40 minutes, and during the back-and-forth emails I got a response around 30 minutes after each email.

Don't you still need to wear black melee armor? That would give a tremendous accuracy penalty, and the wraith's magic attacks would tear you to pieces. It may be better to ask jagex to redesign it rather then tweak its weakness over to "thrown".

All 2handed staves have the same boost to damage over wands, but bonus damage unique to a few staves, like an isn't staff and sol, have been removed. It's still a good staff though, because of its level 75 weapon tier. (Although a polypore staff may be better because it acts the same except for also providing a prayer boost.)

Ended up using void with abs and bloodfire blitz, as was shown in a different thread. Managed to forge the crossbow and then ran out of food (was using sharks not rocktails). I decided to try for a kill, dies a few more times before getting strategy straight and then got two kills in using less than 5 sharks per kill. Thanks for the tips!

Except that's not at all what he's talking about. He even had an answer to your point in there- they hit hard enough that the tank wouldn't stand a chance. It's not even an assumption, that's actual testing right there. It might be possible to trio, with one person dedicated to killing each DK. Then each would use incite on the king he is strong against, while relying on the others to keep the other two off him. It would mean DKs would have to be trioed, unless there is some hybrid/all class armor with enough defense to reduce the damage taken to normal levels. (I personally feel it is wrong that people can camp at a boss for hours on end without having to resupply, so when I say reasonable levels of damage I mean resupplying every 15-30 kill cycles [in this case 3 kings per cycle]. Of course, I may be wrong, seeing as I have never DKed, so if I'm wrong please disregard this opinion about trip length.)

Is it worth bringing melee armor while mauling the tormented spirits, or does the attack penalty of Armadyl not matter? Or should I just ignore the spirits even when the QBD is healing off them, only kill the time stop one, and replace the maul and armor with more food? Also, is it worth bringing a 2h ranged wep and adrenalin pots to use the 40% damage ultimate? Or should I just use rejuvenate/barricade/unload (depending on which are cooling down)?

Can I do it with my stats (in sig)? Will be using full Arma except for boots (Glaiven) and gloves (swifts), Arma crossbow+buckler, Ava's device, fury, penance aura and dragonbane bolts. I will be bringing a chaotic maul for the purple ghosts, dreadnips, ext range pots and antifires. 1) Do I bring a tort with food or a fighting familiar (possibly swamp titan)? 2) Which food do I use? Brews or rocktails? 3) Do I need prayer pots, or will penance cover all drain? ( will be using ss/deflect range and anguish). 4) Do dragonbane bolts deal extra damage on abilities too, or just auto attacks? 5) Do I use shield abilities, or just go for momentum? 6) Assuming I use momentum, do I swap the buckler for offhand ccb? 7) What special effects do swifts have now? I don't have enough dg tokens for a main hand ccb in addition to maul and offhand, which is why I'm using Arma mainhand. I apologize for all the questions, but I'm nervous about boss hunting (only real PvM I've done was glacors and duo gwd).

For armor you could try using mage armor while praying prot range, or melee armor without too heavy a magic penalty while praying prot mage. A familiar probably isn't required at your level, but if you want to bring one bring the titan. I'm not sure if it will be able to hit except when the dag mother is orange, but it will still provide some bonus damage. Rocktails are overkill, sharks or even monks should be enough. Unlike the first dag mother, this one doesn't change color until you attack it with the right style, so you must bring all 6. The fight is pretty easy as long as you stay out of melee range when not balmunging and pray against the style you're not defending against. Good luck!

I did not know it was possible to get randomed in the spirit realm. And, another 80+ skill, 4 left. And a random level gained while getting strange rocks.

At the risk of getting spoiled for quests you haven't done yet, you could try reading through RuneWiki (the articles on all the gods, races, and cities). Some of the stuff might not be canon, but when it isn't it should say that that bit of lore came from a runescape novel. It's nice to see another person interested in the lore. Too many people nowadays quest only for the rewards. :(

Do climber and get as high Dominion Factor as possible before collecting. When I got the journal pages I usually got one for every 50k DF in the chest (100k DF usually got me 2 pages in the chest, and I seemed to get one more frequently with DF above 30k, while less than 30k DF did not give me a page). Don't forget to collect the dreadnips and gloves. When you're done you will not want to go near the Tower ever again. Good luck.

Converted for 100k. No reason to keep seeing as I'm most likely not going to get a full set anyway.

Finally got this, due to increased rates: Now I finally have the full set, and can stop worrying about having all but one piece and not being able to recolor cape.

Was fun while it lasted. Charm sprites are my favorite way of hunting. It's a shame that the updated trees block so much of the field of vision though.
