How rare are the Triskellion pieces? I've killed over 200 jadinko males without a drop, as well as a full task of ascension units.

Ascension bolts cannot be used with a mainhand chaotic crossbow, because the bolts are t90 ammo and the crossbow is only t80. The glitch is that with abilities only the mainhand crossbow is checked for compatibility with the ammo, while the offhand isn't, allowing you to get away with a weaker offhand while still having the damage output of a higher one. If you want to test, try using a mainhand CCB and an offhand bronze crossbow, while wielding royal bolts. When you use abilities, the damage should be equal to the damage of dual CCBs.

No reason why it should affect the droprate, but has anyone tried bringing the completed History of the Order book while killing the Legiones?

You can have up to 10 earned spins saved up (11 if you use a double spin ticket at 9) and another 28 spin tickets in your inventory, for a total of 38-39 earned spins saved up. If you have both earned and daily spins, the dailies get used up first. Edit: ninja'd.

They do drop remains, that's what the shards and fragments are. They are like kalphites where instead of offering a 100% pray xp drop, they give you something you can sell. It is weird that the Ascension Fragments are untradable though.

It's possible to do that, but easier to just avoid using channeled abilities. The problem with momentuming the bosses is when you are running around constantly it takes a bit of time to find the boss to reclick, while with abilities you just hit a key to attack. Using auto-retaliate with momentum can bring you running back into a splatted area for a death, so that won't work either.

It's possible his purpose was to get people to stop worshiping Guthix and live life normally, just instead of arguing he took a more active role. If you use the completed journal on him he admits it's his and that he engineered the Ascended so they wouldn't need to worship gods anymore. It seems like he isn't aware of hands-off methods of dealing with others. Edit: Just killed 4 of the 6 bosses (not Quartus or Primus) and they all seem to have the magic splat attack, so you have to keep running around and can't use channeled abilities unless you have a death wish. Things of note: Tertius summons minions at stages throughout the fight, first 3 Rarii, then a Gladius, and then a Caprius, each summons seems to be triggered by him reaching x/4 of his hp (3/4 for Rarii, 1/2 for Gladius, 1/4 for Caprius) the Rarii do some extra damage, not enough to worry about though, the Gladius can stun you, letting you get hit by the magic splats but if you get far enough away he loses interest and wanders around doing nothing. The Caprius doesn't seem to heal Tertius, but it does give him lots of damage reduction (reduces hits down to 25-30 from 500+). Quintus draws purple lines across the room, separating it into a smaller box and 4 rectangles by the sides each the width of a magic splat. Quintus draws 1 line at a time at each x/4 hp interval, and crossing the line seems to do the same amount of damage as being hit by a magic splat. Sextus occasionally shouts "your next step may be your last!", this does nothing. Secundus has no special attacks, just continuous magic splats the whole time. The bosses do not respawn once killed, and each seems to have a drop value of 15-30k.

Any strategies for the bosses? I have a set of 6 keys and don't want to waste them by dying.

And when that happens, you tank the invisible "trololol" scrolling across the screen and try another red/grey combo. It would be nice if there were a way to look at the knot and within 20 seconds narrow it down to 3-4 combinations.

I was kind of wondering if it would be worthwhile to count spaces between runes or something, brute-forcing just seems inelegant. So far I know that if there are four of the same rune in one track, it's always a red herring, and the best way to do them is to line 2 tracks up and cycle the 3rd until everything is aligned.

Until now I've been brute-forcing celtic knot puzzles on elites, but I've been wondering if there is a strategy for it, kind of like the row strategy and the 4-square wheel for box puzzles. Any tricks for Celtic Knots? Note: if posting a video, please also explain in text what the trick is that the video-maker makes use of in solving the puzzle, and how it works. I may not always be able to view it directly.

At your level it shouldn't take long to get the tokens. If people go to a lot of effort for an extra 0.2% dps, then a little bit of effort for 0.35% dps (assuming you use abilities and not momentum) is definitely worth it. Besides, it looks pretty. |^_^|

Did you go back to the ruins with the plaque and then keep it in your inventory as you tried to use the rings?

My experience of w77 was different: lots of floors averaging 25 minutes, the floors fill quickly and there are always more opening, though early in the day it may take a few minutes before someone hosts a floor. Most of the floors that get done there are occs, with a few abas and warps, and with c1s once per hour or so. The floors are mostly relaxed, occasionally you will get someone who bugs everyone for faster floor time, or someone who doesn't really know what to do, but these are rare.

Haven't posted here in a while. After grinding 1.5m cooking xp and making use of many +5/+6 boosts (stews, pies and mature ales), I finally got these: For some reason, despite my getting all these achievements I consider as high-lvl, I still feel like a noob.
