Charm sprites are supposedly 100k xp/hour, you could try them out and if thy aren't too bad you could work towards 1k catches for the 5% xp boost.

It's nice that they removed the trees, ever since the graphical update reached that area it's been a pain to click on the sprites and not cut trees. Does the yaktwee stick get a graphical change when it gets updated? I want to show off my catches but can't access a computer to check. Also, for efficiency freaks: at what level does it become a waste to get the catches for the 5% xp boost?

A failure just means your time gets cut short, and you thus get less fish. But any fish you already caught when the trawler sinks stay in the net and can be taken.

Using the Runewiki Beacon Walkthrough you can light the beacons in less than 12 minutes, which would allow you to use maple logs and still have 3 minutes of downtime before the first beacon goes out.

It is possible to solo the trawler for a few minutes before failing. That should be enough time to catch a manta ray. You just need to bring 10+ bailing buckets, a stack of ~30-50 swamp paste and 5 ropes.

+550 xp (500 bonus) Necromancy training aside, I'd say its a tie between Azzanadra and Sliske. I like Azzanadra because I feel he values me as not just another pawn, but a friend. Sliske though seems to be a copy/paste of Richard from LFG, including the yellow eyes and personality. It is impossible not to choose him as favorite.

Looks like the wand won't be getting graphical enhancements as capture count increases... And probably no Slithtils pet either. :( This is based on teaser pictures though, so maybe we will have them...

If it's fast, than it isn't ready. The best mind for stuff like summ or agility is a slow, tired one. Then you slip into a trance and can go back and forth for hours without getting bored.

TMHT event Lots of deaths, lots of fun. EDIT:

New dg setup, at least until it is confirmed that staff>wand+orb (though I may keep it anyway, tossing particles with concentrated blast is too cool to easily give up). The blood neck is new as well, the edimmu was in a non-gd and everyone else passed it by.

Shambling lair at 62% failed, but I rerolled another. Only boost used was a bag of wind to slice off 2 hours. Pincers really feels like the bowl. The upgrades barely add anything and the standard missions (at least at the beginning) are about the same difficulty as in the bowl. The only difference is in the amount of trade goods, and the high reqs of adventurer missions.

I haven't had an increase in FPS, but starting last week animations got smoother for me, so it's possible Jagex is doing some back-end tweaking or something.
