  1. Also the drain of the leeches is stated to be 10% increasing to 25% over time. Is this still true?
  2. How long does it take for the boost to work its way up to 15%?
  3. This sounds awsome. :D
  4. Tbh I think Green deserves a bit of respect. Just looking at that graph you can see that she can been consistently been putting effort into the game while having fun. Shes been consistently playing the game except for what looks like a 2 month break. Really, I'm impressed. :P
  5. Option 3 isn't an option. Kill rate is far too low. It is an option.. The best? No. But an option.
  6. You should at least try not to be a jerk while answering people's questions... Anyway, if you have soulsplit these things aren't a problem. You just attack them with turmoil on wearing melee defence gear and ss your hp back up when it goes down. If you don't have soulsplit though they can give you a hard time. You can't pray melee against them otherwise they will mage you, and they hit like trains, so you will definitely need a healing familiar and probably some food on top of that. They drop a lot of fruit though, so you can eat that if you need to. Good luck - Joof
  7. Adamant platebodies are very good, however I wouldn't use the sc hammers for them. Red d'hide bodies are quite expensive without the sacred clay tools, and with the tools they are too slow. I'd suggest cutting emeralds or crafting water battlestaves if you aren't in a hurry to get the level. Oak larders/doors are pretty good. If you have a lot of money it is worth it to make mahogany tables instead. In this case it's again more efficient to go without the sacred clay tools but here I might use them because it is very expensive and I tend to go insane while training construction. As for fletching theres really no reason to use the sacred clay at all. The most efficient method to train is making broad arrows but a lot of people prefer just cutting longbows, as making the arrows is 8-9 gp/xp. For thieving your only options are PP and monkey knife fighters. The monkeys are only marginally faster than PP though and require much much more clicking. This is entirely dependent on your playstyle. And yeah, for mining do LRC gold. whether or not you drop ores or bank them is up to you though. Dropping the ores is much faster xp than banking them because you can also use urns to get 20% more xp. However banking them is much more afkable, so again it depends on your playstyle. Another thing that some people do is use the juju potions from Herblore Habitat to bank the ores and drop what the spirits don't take care of. This is really a nice halfway point so it might be good for you. Good luck skilling :D -Joof
  8. attack. Done almost entirely through slayer :D
  9. 48.3k :) It's more and more every time I check. I remember when I first started looking at this about 8 months ago I was averaging 24k so there's been some improvement :P
  10. Would it be a good idea to bring a torso leg and helm switch for the claws because of pernix's negative melee accuracy? Also why leave an empty space?
  11. Glory to Fury is 3 str. glory to fury is +2 strength +2 prayer and +12 in all defences.
  12. If you are ranging and don't have access to rigour then I'd think it would be best.
  13. Are effigies pretty quick there?
  14. Why the Ahrim's/Zammy cape/Infinity boots? Cuz its fun looking like a mage... What do you suggest? I tried wearing arma earlier and that worked just as good. Full melee defense, unless you lure the minions out of view of the 'boss'. Mage attack bonus doesn't affect your hits. I wear full Bandos, DFH, Arcane Stream Necklace and Staff of Light, Dragon Boots, etc. There's no need to take brews and lately have been taking 6+ overloads. Why not verac skirt over tassets? And maybe torag/dh top? also are you using a sw cape? I would wear that, but in the gear I posted, there's already no need for brews and rarely uses uni. No point in a defense that degrades when it's not needed. :). Yes, I wear a SW cape. Well you may not need the defence but there is a slight prayer bonus. If it could make you last another ovl it could be good.

  16. Early Runescape memories. again? Didn't we have that nostalgia thread just a moment ago? I remember that thread. Good times...
  17. Rapier is better in the majority of situations, and is definitely the better all-around weapon. I would highly recommend getting the rapier first. You should get about 200k tokens getting 80 from where you are now. (convenient right?) And yeah, if you know what you're doing and you dungeoneer a fair bit it is easily accomplished in a few months. If you were to no-life you could probably even do it in a week.
  18. No sense in spending money to speed it up either if you don't plan on stopping when you get 99. My advice is that if you are really in a rush or just want to get farming over with, do trees. If you enjoy farming or at least enjoy the profit it can bring, just do herbs and assists until 99.
  19. Can we get a sticky for these threads? Or maybe a forum section? Way too many of these in general discussion..
  20. I just checked and waterstaffs are 100xp each... While airs are 137.5xp each, surely it's better to do airs? At the moment air battlestaves cost 6 gp/xp. At that price 70-92 would be able 30m. And you said you wanted the level for about 3-4m so its a *little* out of your budget. Water battlestaves wouldn't cost you anything and they are still pretty good xp.
  21. Water battlestaves are about 200k xp/hour and they hover around the break even point. The only downside is that the 4 hour ge limit on the battlestaves is 100 so you can only get 600 per 24 hours.
  22. :o Gratz on rank 1!!!
  23. Well that makes sence.. for monsters that you slash and stab against. Wouldn't it make sence to make an exception for waterfiends?
  24. Why would you collect slash rather than crush? If we had stab and crush we would be able to compare zs, ss, maul, and rapier. Unless there is a slash weapon that could compare with those I don't see the point.
