  1. The best time to sell would be AFTER they ACTUALLY announced a BXPW
  2. Should think its a tunnel that leads to the inner areas of the city where this vault is; or perhaps just a further shortcut to the myreque hideout.
  3. Yes but only inside the mini-games. Outside they are statless.
  4. I think the need to win to get a piece is fair enough for all of the games except fight pits. All the others are team efforts and you got a 50:50 chance of winning, but fight pits unless you rig it you've got like a 1:5000 chance of winning unless you are maxed with all the best gear and even then you probably only got like 1:50 chance.
  5. Its nothing good. Just kids by the well that act like the elf bard to recount the plot of last 4 quests and re-explain some key npcs
  6. Well the new pp sceptre will prove handy for desert travel and the shade skull sounds like it can be removed and re-added so might become a nice cheap craft xp method. Oh and tht cryptic note about burgh de rott = two kids in front of well who recount the 4 myreque quests and remind you who certain npcs are.
  7. Wow so we can get 2.% xp boost for thief on all the aweful xp methods that people don;t use? Brilliant ¬¬
  8. Are the jewelled statue and diamond statue in pp new? ROW only items.
  9. If you enjoy Great Orb Project and hate grinding runecrafting, the 30 hours of a mini-game you like and probably would have played anyway to save 5.5 hours of something you don't might be worth it. Plus this math fails to account for the fact the 30 hours includes rc xp. Granted not best ever but double rate nats is pretty decent xp:hr; enough to probably make it so time wise you only lose out an hour max vs full grind
  10. It's rather lol worth also like the "extra farming patch" It's a wish that creates an extra allotment that VANISHES after u harvest from it.
  11. Logic fail. If you are f2p you have like 1/3 less skills therefore 1/3 of the grinding (assuming you avoid effigies etc as you enjoy grinding) therefore being p2p is still better if you enjoy the grind. logic fail. It takes more then 33% longer to max out f2p therefor it still is a longer grind then playing members all the way through Epic maths lie 195m xp is much faster to get than 325m xp, wherever you do it For you're statement to hold true it'd require that the slower f2p methods are impossible in p2p; which they are not. Do the same slow ass methods in p2p as you do in f2p and you take just as long, heck even longer if you truly go to the extremes. Plus there's the factor of some p2p methods being slower still eg magic trees result in slower xp/hr than yew trees due to cut rate. Mining runite would also yeild lower xp/hr than most f2p mining. And side note: those xp totals only account for 99 dg not the full 120
  12. That description: "Buy a gout tuber from another player, or use a machete to play the Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup activity until you find a gout tuber to dig up with a spade. Semi-precious gems (opal, jade and red topaz) can be mined occasionally during this activity, or at the Shilo Village gem rocks. Trading sticks are also earned in this activity, or buy from other players. Safta Doc charges higher level gems and more trading sticks for better machetes: opal, jade, or red topaz. Talk to Safta Doc and purchase any machete from him using items collected from the clean up activity." 101 words. Re-worded: "Talk to Safta Doc to buy a machete for semi-precious gems, trading sticks and a gout tuber. All these items can be gained by playing Tai Bwo Wanni Clean Up (requires machete, pickaxe and spade) or purchased from other players; semi-precious gems can also be mined in Shilo Village." 48 words. Halved the length, lost none of the info. Random side bar: Is there any special reason everywhere on the site including url references Tai Bwo Wanni Clean Up, yet activities page randomly lists it as "Jungle Clean Up"? Plus I'm still adamant it should go in, it takes so few words and is a perfectly viable and useful method IF you have it. No need to explain it in depth, just put the note and include a link to the item; those who want to get it/have it can use it easily everyone else can still see exactly what to do to.
  13. It is comparable though because the item list and the other obelisks are slower so why included them? It's the exact same logic that you have applied to this: It's slower so why include it? It adds the whole of 15 words to 1 task 10 to another. And even that could be shaved down. And thoose descriptions are still FAR shorter than some others eg: "Buy a gout tuber from another player, or use a machete to play the Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup activity until you find a gout tuber to dig up with a spade. Talk to Safta Doc and purchase any machete from him using items collected from the clean up activity." That rambles on for far longer than strictly neccessary. Plus the shilo village argument hardly holds up since the task set requires use of the cart transport system that requires shilo village anyway. The onion taking time to get hardly factors at all, after all there is an onion field literally right by the guild building. Also as you said guides list all details for the sake of being complete; this guide is incomplete as it fails to list a viable method for the task. Plus as you said: "also describing any potentially convenient alternatives that might be available" Vial of stench is potentially convenient method. It's not like your putting in a massive essay on HOW to get vial of stench, just a few words to say IF you have a vial of stench you can use it to theive from silk stall making the task quicker. Same way you are saying IF a gem rock turns up in tai bwo wanni clean up you can save buying gems.
  14. Just talk to Papa Mambo he'll build it for you for 80k
  15. Logic fail. If you are f2p you have like 1/3 less skills therefore 1/3 of the grinding (assuming you avoid effigies etc as you enjoy grinding) therefore being p2p is still better if you enjoy the grind.
  16. Its a valid method of completing the task so it is in no way redundant. Note how I left all the methods in and included the vial in the suggested items; meaning it wouldn't be extra leg work as people would have the options and simply have the faster choice there if they own the vial. Plus it's not like making the vial is massively more leg work than teleing to buy the silk. You just bank for a vial instead of coins and then tele to lumby not al-kharid. Also given that it is a valid method, I fail to see how it is any more redundant than karamja covering the fact that tai bwo wanni clean up may give a gem rock to cover the gem rock task; despite the rock spawns being reasonably rare and most people probably not gonna find one. After all is not the purpose of the guide to explain ALL possible ways to accomplish the tasks? And if one does happen to have a vial of stench banked is it not clearly much faster to steal silk ten sell it straight back, given that you are there already? Equally by that logic it is utterly redundant for MEP2 guide to explain the dwarf list to acquire death talisman as it can be bought. It's redundant for the summoning guide to mention any of the big obelisks other than taverly and piscatoris as they are the only two worth training at. etc.
  17. pretty sure this is wrong Well its what I've always been told and it definitely works. Before an attack is actually fired (for range and mage) on pretty much any monster the prayer will work if flicked on; after its in the air it won't. Admittedly not got much experience with Jad so perhaps there is a delay with attack in air prayer swap working; but hey the charge animations give more than enough time to switch and 100% definitely the prayer will block it if swapped then. So where's the harm in swapping slightly earlier than 100% vital? (assuming I am wrong about jad)
  18. Tolerable is the same thing as ease in this context. After all an intolerable task is harder as you cannot tolerate it and thus fail to devote proper time and attention to complete it making the task longer and harder for yourself.
  19. You can't not include details in a guide just because they are "common sense", as not everyone is aware of everything hence they go to a guide in the first place. The whole point of a guide is to EXPLAIN the ENTIRE method. The method in this guide is in no way shape or form the "fastest fm xp" as you excluded several things that significantly increase xp rates. You either title the guide appropriately eg Pyrelord fming method or ACTUALLY include all the info for it to match the title.
  20. fastest xp = LIE The ring, gloves and penance horn all make it faster; none apply to the pyrelord fires, but they apply to your personal fires. Plus from what I've heard doing it in poh via noted logs and demon butler also adds to the overall speed and thus faster xp rate.
  21. You have to switch before he fires the attack ergo when he is rising up or charging the mage ball.
  22. Thats the nature of the game, most new updates make something easier. fletch-x, cook-x, smith-x, runecrafting, farming, monkfish, juju potions, fire capes, soulwars capes, pest control, soulwars, godwars dungeon, barrows armour, rune armour, etc. It's all relative to when you started.
  23. New photos added, was interesting trying to balance exposure of bright sky and dark-ish cat; as you can see in 3rd some went blown out beyond recovery. Last 3 are personal faves.
  24. However, after 20-30 bog events while trekking earlier this week, I did not lose my branch once. Could be a bit of outdated data. Nope. This has happened to me twice. You can lose your branch. Happened on the hard routes on both occasions, so might be depending on the difficulty of the trek. No. I've had 50-60 bog events pretty evenly split easy med hard, not a single branch lost; safe to say difficulty is not a factor in rarity.
  25. aside from the fact commons drop every single seed going opposed to just herbs...
