  1. They do get xp to leveling without fighting; just not a lot. And she doesn't fight at all.
  2. As far as I've heard no difference in them functionally. All it is is the new vyre corpses include the wings and (as with prior vyres) theres a few variants on wing colouring etc. so they drop a corpse visually appropriate
  3. If they have no space they didn't eat. The inventory is universal for all 6 peoples and if they get Very low health they eat. When they eat they re-gain inventory spaces; mine have ~10 atm
  4. I think, based on how I use my camera, a mf screen is gonna be a greater hindrance than it is an aid to me. As it's predominantly only the macro shots I am still have substantial focus issues on (and even then not 100% consistently) the few zoom lens shots and standard lens I'm not finding any huge difficulties. Anyway todays random shots added cause I was quite pleased with them, the later 3 especially.
  5. I don't see why they'd be flawed when using longer lenses but there would be an issue with focusing and recomposing (something you could avoid by using AF and selecting the AF point you need) From what I read with the slower lens such as zoom lens at wider aperture such focus screens go near black and thus make it near impossible to use.
  6. Oh I have seen some stuff about them before, aren't such focus screens heavily flawed in use with long zoom lens and kind of a hindrance in terms of doing short depth of field/layered shots where the entire shot is unlikely to be in sharp focus and in terms of compositional creative the in-focus area is liable to be off centre
  7. I see what you mean on the original emblem the black area at the front of the front leg is suggestive of the second front leg Showing it to be almost direct behind the leg in the foreground, but being there enough to look "right" Where as the silhouette form just looks like a 3 legged lion
  8. How is not geared toward manual focus? The whole point of the SLR format is that the viewfinder image is what the lens is seeing no? So how can the viewfinder be adversely effected by manual focus opposed to auto-focus?
  9. I don't use the screen, I use the viewfinder
  10. I prefer to use manual focus, I know not everyone does. But for me the fun in photography is not just the pictures but the art in taking the shot and working with the camera to setup the focus and the aperture and the shutter speed. The Orchids atleast I probably could of done better with a large depth of field; cat shots deffo wouldn't of worked though as lower aperture would of meant lower shutter speed to get exposure right and slower shutter speed in that instanced would just increase issues with the cat not staying still. ISO I leave it on auto and isn't lower iso better for sharpness anyway, after all higher iso increases noise doesn't it?
  11. Fair few events have had slight tweaks made as well that make them less painful/repetitive. Eg shades event the 3 npcs from Mort'ton now appear in houses and if you distract the shades attacking their doors you save them and they will offer prayer and hp restoration. Or you let the shades break in and turn the shopkeepers into 3 more shades. The whole experience is just more sleek and dynamic and less of a chore plus the rewards are nice in many ways. The shortcuts pwn. Construction outfit = win Ghast familar = uni for prayer + prayer xp from it fighting Infinite druid pouch = win
  12. Sharpness is bound to be an issue with my cat, she doesn't stay still enough to get a 100% perfect focus; the shots are the good ones out of like 30 attempted shots which mostly are empty unfocussed frames or blurs of movement. But even so I'm pleased with the later ones, they aren't far enough off to look bad (IMO) and short of a miracle you're not gonna get better with my cat other than perhaps with a zoom lens from really far away; but she doesn't really sit in interesting poses/locations without interaction. Yeah I agree with the orchids focus is a bit off; but meh I'm still very much learning so can't expect to be all perfect. Trying to get myself to take photos, even if they are boring pointless stuff I don't share, every other day atleast atm to get the practice. Night shot yeah totally agree, I don't think its particularly great (though its my most fav'ed pic on deviant art) but I SUCK at getting night exposure right so I was just pleased that I got some of it to work. Couldn't really do much other than centre the moon in frame, as it was literally just a small crack in the cloud's with pitch black beyond; did try some horizontal shots but they all came out blurred/incorrectly exposed.
  13. You missed a dialogue option. This exact topic comes up ever month or two since romeo and juliet went away and every single time* the quest gets finished as they missed a dialogue option and just assumed it must be one of the two missing people; but it never is. *on this forum
  14. Romeo and Juliet. Lapucet swap c and l for Capulet Gontamue swap g and m for Montague They got removed a while back, including from the census. But the scroll still includes them, which is a bug. One of the other 5 will forward the quest.
  15. I got max hit splat at ~287 earlier. But mine is fully upgraded. Perhaps upgrades just effect accuracy now.
  16. I always find the arguments of time taken to get outfit xp makes it useless flawed. As they only make logical sense if you count time spent getting the outfit solely as time training that skill with no xp gain. But you're not training the skill at all you are doing an entirely different thing for other rewards. The only exception being mining suit and even that is fine to get assuming you start lava flow mine at lowest level as you still gain significant mining xp while getting the suit. I can see from a strictly 100% metagame viewpoint they may suck, but meh very few people ACTUAL 100% follow the best metagaming route 100% of the time you go do other random things for fun or reward.
  17. Check the book at the Columbarium and see if any of the names are crossed out. I suspect you might've forgotten that you've burned a few vyres, especially since you've burned at least 1 upon completing Legacy of Seergaze. Upgrades are only applied every 50 vyres so gotta be 50+
  18. Well flail could certianly hit over 250 when upgraded two weeks ago when I was doing last 200 corpses in prep for new quest. And you are sure its 100% un-upgraded? Upgrades aren't applied to the flail itself but the user so even if its a brand new flail if u did some vyre corpses before it'll be upgraded
  19. I'm not so sure it has been updated. I hit over 250 a fair bit last week finish flail off and ergo brand new flail = 250 max. As you do the vyre burning max damage rises
  20. Could try taking the compeltinoist cape in varrokc museum. Hunt of surok is a req so itll show up in chat box if u not done it
  21. tbh for barrows folks: Do Zachary first for the canafis trapdoor to mort'ton jump for sped up barrows runs. Then work on the 500 total for burgh de rott tele for epic barrows speed
  22. Temple Trekking is fun, yes. Whether it's worth it depends on what you like to do as a player, but for most players they sound pretty good. mm lumberjack and construction gear DEFFO worth it. The mort myre gate shortcut is handy, probably has a few uses The trapdoor shortcut epic use too.
  23. Tanking so they can kill give best leveling rate to them. Rangers and mages you can even block for so zero damage to the follower. In terms of keeping them alive I found 1 - ~30-40 is best done on easy then ~30-40+ medium. I've not got there yet but I'm guessing around 70 - 80 region hards become feasible Though all these do rely no your ability to tank the damage You can tank for all, bring a weapon that hits fast say knives... and hit the meleer first such as Talon beast. Aslong as you're witihn melee distance of the NPC (one you're levelling) they opposing monsters will always hit you. Rare case scenario if the monster is locked on the NPC kill it so it's zero risk and leave the ones on you to be killed. Ah good to know; not personally done any meleers yet. Did Zachary to 25 for construction boots. Doing Pazuzu for the gloves(?) And Jayene the ranger on returns for the infinite druid pouch

  25. New Nature Grotto Event is kind funny. You right-click him to get "water power" Then douse the flames that spread around the ring of plants at edge of his island, doesn't seem to be failable and gives no xp. Dousing flames uses water mage animation (I wanna say blast but not 100% sure)
