  1. only costume and menagrie
  2. It has no attack penalties; all other helms do.
  3. You play BA with the statue set to xp to fill the horn (normal or master) with potential. Burning logs, mining and agility courses use up this potential while giving double xp.
  4. Prices are almost as low as they can go already (rune armour that is... in accordance with their high alch value)... the high alch value provdes a false floor in prices runite ore isn't though.
  5. Yeah I think it pretty obvious jagex is using instances to bring people across worlds TOGETHER for activities that need people opposed to letting people be SPLIT UP to have free run at resources. Imagine how runite prices would bottom out if suddenly every single rune miner could have their own instance of the rocks.
  6. You can't resize them. They have a set size, the only way to alter how big they appear is to change your screen resolution via display settings on the computer itself; but then shrinking res just to make icons bigger is rather stupid unless you REALLY can't identify them at that size (Like my mum has 800x600 res cause shes blind as a bat lol)
  7. Actually, I voted for that option because I thought it was going to be a "mega thread", not a sticky. Would've been better to say "have a pinned topic" instead. Pinned topics tend to be overlooked, so it's better to have a mega topic for it. How does a "mega topic" differ from a sticky? It's just a sticky that isn't stickied but the same rule is applied of grouping all of that topic into 1 thread.
  8. From the same rsof thread as before: "Edit: We will be updating in approximately 30-60 minutes to fix a problem with attempting to ban people from friends/clan chat channels. This will also solve problems with freezing on trying to log into an instance world. Apologies for the inconvenience. "
  9. Spam click hasn't worked for ages because you have to keep closing the world full dialogue and then clicking on the world again and they don't exactly line up. The only way it will slow you down is if you were a lucky sob and managed to grab the empty spot before people who'd been trying to get on tht world for ages as you now would have to wait you're turn.
  10. Just smuggles out the red skull. You don't get tokkul. Fair enough, saw some vids where u did get tokkul but they were fairly old; I should say seemed to, they were proper old school blurry res but they deffo seemed to have tokkul on them and the number seemed to rise when they got the dialogue pop up.
  11. I've been at home pretty much every single update for the past 3 years. They pretty much all been 12 - 2pm; very few as late as 4pm.
  12. CFT in this context is "Controlled Forced Teleport"; basically its a near impossible to fix bug that [wagon] glitches use to smuggle/break stuff. The classic fight caves CFT results in you winning the fight cave all the time as no-one can find you in the arena to kill you as you CFTed out and thus walk around randomly gaining tokkul and have the red skull.
  13. It can still be auras. They don't usually release stuff this early during the day. There's still a slight chance of auras in 4-6 hours. Apart from the fact that the post said there is no game update this week, there's still a chance :P. And that fact jagex is a uk company. They finished work like 5pm usually. 12.30pm uk time ...4-6 hours...4.30pm-6.30pm; never been an update that late in the day. Average update time is 12pm - 2pm
  14. Hopefully it gets rolled out in-time to most games. Then they'd be no more epic laggy soul wars world or w/e as most soulwars players would come from all over the place to the instanced world
  15. @Tripsis I'd disagree with that writing classes thing, beyond a certain level in lower school where you learn to write you pick up what you need via English Lang/English lit. Plus most writing classes that aren't a total rip off either cater to creative writing or people who, for whatever reason, really can't write to a basic school level. The later don;t benefit you if you can write, the former only help if you have the natural flare from creative writing. I study creative writing at university and in the first year we had about 20 drop outs who took the course to learn to writing better, but found it was not for them as they couldn't write good stuff to begin with; opposed to myself and other students who could write creatively and gained a lot from the course. @Ginger_Warrior making business studies mandatory is an awful idea. Not everyone really cares how a business works in that much depth and it wouldn't particularly help with "commercial awareness" to a specific industry; besides in the UK at least at college level there's loads of vocational and hands-on courses and apprenticeships. Also the issue of being unable to analysis I'd say is more an argument agaisnt vocational courses earlier on. Sure some subject such as history and science you have to cram 100% certain facts and methods in to you're head; but English literature is all about opinion and any answer is valid as long as you can reasonably back it up from the text and/or literary theories. Anybody who studies English literature well has no issue with critical thinking or with evaluating new information and the same can be applied to many other subjects as well. It's not a flaw of education that people lack these skills; it is a personal flaw that they don't apply them or bother with the world around them. I'd agree with most general sentiments so far, all the lower school system education is about giving you a good grounding in the basics of how the world around you works and also teaching you various life skills. (Critical thinking, analysis, problem solving etc.) then as you progress up the ladder of education you narrow it into a more specific path for you that does have relevant content as well as skills.
  16. Both minor tweaks, but both sound pretty decent.
  17. in the tips a tricks section there is a mini-guide to 100% which covers collecting the name for squirk juice; and the required items are listed correctly here. It is not mentioned in the main guide as it the most awkward and complex task for 100% and 100% is not required for the quest.
  18. When you find out how to smuggle cross bows into DUNGEONEERING this answer may become borderline valid.
  19. I'd call no update week. They usually do it the week before last of the month; and wording of bts does say loyalty thingie is coming at end of month
  20. Fair enough, how hard was it to say "I used a script" opposed to simply jumping to the attack? You're original post didn't indicate use of a script, so through use of "I did" I assumed manually collection.
  21. I fail to see how it is trolling to point out a rather obvious improbability in your data collection claims. The fact you need to jump to calling me a troll rather than providing an explanation as to how sleep deprivation related issues etc. were avoided makes me even more suspicious of this studies validity and methodology as it reads as avoidance of the issue due to lack of a credible answer.
  22. Seriously? Ignoring today you say you've been collecting data for the past 11 days. Which is 264 hours with only 2 hours supposed time missing? That's ridiculous, considering the Guinness world record for longest period without sleep is 264 hours, which "smashed" the prior record of 260 hours. Especially given the average human gets major sleep deprivation issues around the 50 hour mark, if not much sooner.
  23. I doubt its use: 1) Player population fluctuates much more rapidly than 5 minute intervals 2) What's "minimum down time"? The 12+ hours a day when you need to sleep, eat, study/work, have a social life or actually play the game? 3) How accurate are your intervals? I doubt 1 person could strictly adhere to such 5 minutes intervals strictly even allowing for ~20 second errors. 4) Since the 8th of June is hardly an expansive study, it's a week and a half; in that time we've only seen 1 actual game update. (if you ignore bug fixes) 5) Accounting for you're "minimal downtime" its clear this study will only show up time for 1 timezone, what about the up time which happens during your sleeping hours?
  24. That orb scan I think is mentioned as: Southern entrance to the mountain, the western, dead-end path. South of the dead tree As judging from world map that's the only "western path" that has a dead tree that the point is south of. But it's rather unclear because that particular location is awfully worded. I mean what is the "southern entrance to the mountain"? Both cathurby and taverly sides the "entrance" (which is a complete misuse of the word as you do not really "enter" the mountain you go up it) are pretty much level on the north/south scale. Then taverly side the Wesstern path that is dead end has no trees to my knowledge. Cathurby side the truely western path skims outside the snow in the evergreens and doesn't really dead end.
