It amazes me that people still buy into the "violent games/music/films make people more violent" thing; I mean if that IS true surely all others should apply too? romance should make us more romantic, action should makes us more active etc. etc.

I love Bram Stoker's Dracula. One of my all time favourite novels; I think to many people write it off as their mind is polluted by modern vampires or modern dracula stories and even modern retellings of van helsing and can't put all that away in a little box and thus find dracula boring as it doesn't have all the same flare to it. But it is like the ORIGINAL story, it's just awesome.

I like tab mix plus for storing tabs between sessions InvisibleHand is useful for shopping and improving all the time (checks a lot of major shopping sites and offers a banner saying "this is best price" or this "cvan be found cheaper at x") I like download Status bar too, overrides the usual download pop-up window with a tidy bar at the bottom of the screen so you an browse and keep an eye on downloads adblock plus is a god send.

As much as I hope this is true, I don't think it's likely to happen. What exactly could a quest line purely focused on him (or any Mahjarrat for that matter) be about if it was post ritual? Although it would be awesome if we could have a quest or two where we could actually experience and be a part of Sliske giving the Barrows brothers their powers and fighting alongside them by using a similar method to travel in time that we used in Meeting/Making History. Loads, as the dev blog clearly pointed out: 1) Not all mahjaratt are bad guys anyway 2) Only 1 is killed for the ritual 3) The ritual is a once in a lifetime event where they cross paths before returning to their own plots and plans. In terms of story, as pointed out in dev blog is IMPOSSIBLE to finish them all off: Akthanakos and Enkhara have their on going zamorak vs zaros feud Azzandra has the restoring Zaros plot arc Lucien has the becoming a god arc Bilrach is up to something in the depths of daemonheim yet to be revealed Hazeel is a great warlord who wants to recapture Ardougne as his own Jhallan obviously can wander off and do good/evil if he survives the ritual in his hiding place. Khazard is lurking in the shadow realm wanting revenge on the player and it seems viable the ritual will restore him Zemouregal wishies to over-run varrock and probably hates us for stealing back Arrav's heart and thwarting him Sliske, Wahisietel and Kharshai are all unrevealed but known to be alive and obvious could have stories. Zamorak himself is a big mahjaratt storyline point and ties to the elves as well seemingly And there's the 4 dead mahjaratt who could crop up in quests via flashbacks etc. This quest is not gonna end the mahjratt, just tie up the heading north/ritual aspect thats been built up for ages.

To be fair Jagex are slowly upping quest requirements. But it just doesn't make sense to make quest requirements leap in to the 90s when previously only needed say 50 or so. I mean in the past year or so a lot of quest stat reqs have been pushed into the 70s or 80s (Well highest is mage at 80) so it is inevitable within a year or two we should start to see some high 80/low 90 reqs

Jagex isnt gonna cater each boss to insanely maxed players... They don't but maybe for a quest this big they should. But as the dev blog rightly pointed out: The mahjaratt series as a whole has always largely appealed to questers who like story and lore and not been insanely big combat quests. Why should that change just because its a finale? It'd be like making a quest triology based totally around farming where you fight nothing; but then oh its finale better throw in a lvl 782 boss cause you know it's not a finale without an extreme boss monster just because.

I get the impression that the storyline he is talking about is relating to the Dragonkin. We saw them at the end of WGS and there's the mural depicting them burning (presumably) Kethsi to the ground. But dragonkin is hardly jsut "touched on" we have HEAPS of law on them and the whole robert the strong quest about them.

I'm highly intrigued by the storyline "touched on in earnest" that will really start in this finale. I'm guessing: Lucien story won't be finished or he's the one who dies. Azzandra story won't be finished. Sliske might get a story line seeded to continue.

It' slightly more complex as players are being moved to a dedicated server, with appropriate data stored to send them back to the server they came from AND not mark their space on that server as free. I'd say dg tech helped though, prior to dg all instanced areas were just 1 player areas; dg was the first multi-player instancing we saw iirc.

No herb prices are low atm which means average herb yield is worth less than flax on mtk as you get a lot of lower herbs and not many expensive ones. Maples is the only one that can be awful and still win cause nests alone make a tidy profit then the seeds you get on a bad week will net 100k-ish on a good week 1-2 mil

Shocking given that it is an INSTANCED world. An instance is a map area loaded on demand that does not otherwise exist; even with what little they told us its pretty obvious that the instanced world is instancing specific game areas in order to bring players from all servers together. It'd be a pretty useless instance if it just loaded the entire world.

Solution: Post nice normal images without the pointless link code to the hosting site/source.

Yes attack bonuses matter more than defence bonuses; plus the average outfit gets all defences up to like 200 - 300 anyway so 2 or 3 means nothing as it has little impact. While the attack bonus can still make a differnce. Case and point: Bandos and defenders are better than other armours and shields despite giving very limited defence. And void melee owns despite being virtually defencless
