What overloads to make
I'd go with supreme overloads for sure. The cost to upgrade overloads into them is pretty cheap (especially for how much herby xp you get) so there's no reason to not maximise that boost. From there you can then also chuck in the anti-fire etc for supreme overload salves to be used for dragons etc, again at very limited cost increase and a gr8 inventory space saver.

They expressly told us the scope of this project does not have the budget or time to graphically update boss monsters, which is exactly why some like DKS were not going to be included as boss pets at this point, but player demand made them do it.

As far as I can see from these lamps: Lamp awards X xp just like any other lamp does. If you have bonus xp in the skill the lamp uses up to X bonus xp to add to its payout. Result being the lamp can give you up to 2X xp, so long as you have X bonus xp before using it. So basically what Lion said.

Login Camera Rotation
Yeah the issue where ur view distance goes really short and everything goes sort of squashed and distorted that some people have been having on and off for months and having to toggle between the camera modes every log in to fix became more widespread with elf city launch. When investigating it they found, for whatever reason, if the camera points south when loading it doesn't trigger so here we are with south pointing camera load - though it does seem as if the system does try to face north and only uses south when it thinks the issue was gonna happen cause I get like 50:50 normal direction vs forced south on logins and teles and what not.

^ Some of those things are misquoted. 1) They said there would be s crimshaw for fishing that boosts xp THEN went on to talk about the other scrimshaw and its name (whopperbaiting) which does the caksets. 2) They did not say no new comp reqs for sure. They said the trio would be trim and they hadn't had the conversation yet for comp reqs as that is one of the last steps of dev. 3) They did not say Seren Spells and Prayers would be separate from the stuff in that thread. As laid out in the thread itself there are 3 groups of fixes: Bug fixes to be done asap and should be in the next few weeks Ninja type fixes that will come bit by bit as and when they are ready. Larger updates - including the spells and prayers - which will probably be released all together as a main update. 4) The poll, as they stressed several times, was just to gauge rough interest and was in no way shape or form indicating dev intent. It was more of a for fun thing of "well we've done one of the big "missing" areas of those left what would you want most next?"

Grenwalls gonna be made op hunter training if you don't need bait me thinks. I mean the only thing really keeping them behind draconic jads is the effort involved in baiting. For me one thing from the stream that kinda optimises Jmod relations to the actualy gameplay: They were surprised that you can't keepsake attuned crystal gear and thought it was already working...despite the fact a butt ton of the feedback thread was asking for them to be made keepsakeable

'Profits plummet at Jagex' - Insidermedia
I was thinking this as well. It was like the year parts of the web made a massive show and dance that jagex was in the red and made a lose not a profit, but when you looked the the actual figures they made one of the biggest profits for years, they just decided to re-invest it all with extra credit from investors into expansion. Which far from suggesting a failing that the scaremongers aimed for actually suggested quite a successful year with big profits and enough investor confidence to make such a big re-investment. At the end of the day good revenue with a small profit is the most desirable figures we as players could see. Good revenue means they are doing well and making the money they need to succeed. Small profit means they aren't making an excess of money that investors/management are then skimming off for their own pockets, it means they are re-investing in the company - which is again desirable for players as it means new games, more devs and hopefully better content.

Interesting that they made both Araxxor and Araxxi pets. Wonder if KQ will get variants or transform of some description. Also whether Araxxor, QBD and KK will get their colouration variants.

Another new game for Jagex
I really can't see how this concept is different to what Ace of Spades was? Are they just remaking the same basic concept after it went a bit wrong the first time round?

That kind of poll is the ones that annoy me. It should've been poll A basic form of quest - meet an elder god vs don;t meet an elder god. Then if meet won poll B could've been bik or ful or wen. Because instead of judging do we wanna meet a god or research a god and THEN work out which god they set meeting a god up to fail by dividing people who want that outcome between 3 options whilst the 'research' wanters were all clustered onto one option making it the obvious winner. It's kinda like polling a group of 100 people Do you want to get some M&Ms? Yes blue ones! Yes Green ones! Yes red ones! No! I don't care Then not giving anyone M&Ms because 37 said no you don't do it even though 45 people did want M&Ms in some form or other. Also @Blofield then you did not read the polls full details properly. They were pretty clear you'd be meeting another elder god on all bar the research option.

Theres a golem. We wander around with it. We go to ever so subtley themed places tied to elder gods. More golem and wandering. Oh look a shiny puzzle! Pet Golem oh jesus it mod mark again please stop filming his face. Pretty much covers it, not really much of note in the bts that wasn't in the 'coming next week' blast in last weeks video.

How long will it take to get to a max cape?
10 hours a week is probably just below the ballpark on how much I have played on average over my entire rs career - never been overly metagame efficient, but not been awful either. I got my max cape shortly after my 10 year vet cape and I have never quit or left rs, most time I've gone without playing at all is maybe a week or 2.

I can see their point about textures with the elf clans, but I also don't see why they can't work around it. Minecraft manages to make loads of different grassy terrains and tree types using only 1 grass block and 1 leaf block texture, both in greyscale. Instead of pushing texture limitations just make the clothing texture, or parts of it, greyscale and then apply a coloured filter based on the npc type. All in all I'm pleased with that change list, only one that sounds a bit eh to me is the cleansing stones - to me the issue wasn't that it was too slow it was that we were sold on a cheap, afk but slow prayer training method what we got is a method barely less expensive than d bones that isn't really anymore or less afk than altaring. For me the fix would be slashing the stones to like 1/30 of their current price but making them take 5-7 minutes per stone with pretty much no change the xp rate - then we have exactly what we were sold a prayer training method that is cheap and very afk but at the price of being very slow.

But even if we 'elect' one person from each community it doesnt cover the entire player base and it doesn't even cover the whole community. Just look through half of gen discussions and you can easily see 'tif' does not have 1 unified set of views or priorities even if you just look at the big name regulars. Everyone having a voice works nicely to give all equal chance, especially with the runelabs system due next year to help player suggestions work through a framework to be given dev focus. Plus look at all the ninja fixes that come directly from player feedback. Sure everyone may be a random group of people, but it's advantage is everyone includes everyone - every playstyle, every voice every priority is represented. A select of random does not.

10th Nov 2014 - Prifddinas - Lost City of the Elves - Part 2
Ah yes of course - because it will work so much better when Jagex randomly selects players for no real reason who have no support base behind them and then automatically assumes these people represent the entire subsection of the community they were selected from with no real evidence of such. If anything that method is worse because it's like dunking your hand into some M&Ms getting and green one and therefore concluding all M&Ms are green because thats what random chance caused you to select. No one player can speak for any major subsection of the community accurately - about the only place it'd work is with clans where 1 clan leader can understand/know what the clan as a whole would like, but even then it gets a bit strained when clan sizes get up into triple digits.

10th Nov 2014 - Prifddinas - Lost City of the Elves - Part 2
I do realize there would be issues to overcome to make something like that work but there would also be clear and distinct difference between a normal democratic government and this sort of arrangement- they wouldn't have any actual power, they wouldn't be getting any direct benefits (except for, say, a chat badge) for doing it and you'd also be able to just blame them for everything. Of course the point that will train wreck it is you cannot even remotely hope to represent a playerbase on thousands upon thousands with different play styles, cultures and priorities with only a handful of people. Plus of course the 'elected' and 'choosen' would inevitably be the youtuber/famous players that are really really unrepresentative of the community as a whole.

Mildly off topic: But my god Rush of Blood 20 waves platinum is still annoying me =@ I got noxious since I last tried, the familiar update since I last tried I'm following all the strats and what have you and lol nope increase personal best by one to 17 waves and can't get any higher -.- I know it can be done, but blow me if I figure out how I can improve my performance any further. I thought Morvran special was gonna be my biggest road block to comp, due to raxi solo + my bad luck with getting specials but nope got it and did her 2nd try. More on topic:

So I log in with +1,000,000 EXP in multiple skill and don't feel any different.
True it wouldn't take much in raw coding but you gotta think in context this is loading sequence that is already under enough duress that even with minimal lag you get this data delay issue. Is adding more to that loading process really the wisest thing to do? I mean if relatively top end users are getting enough lag to experience it low end users must be lagging in the load sequence to a point that they are boarding on crashing out of the load sequence back to the lobby already.
-
So I log in with +1,000,000 EXP in multiple skill and don't feel any different.
Well having players stare at a plain black screen without any indication of loading occuring is just plain bad design. Disabling the counters just creates extra load for the initial launch which would make lag issues worse not better. Why bother fixing something that has 0 impact on the game play and is in no way the result of bad of wrong coding - it is pure a simple internet lag.
-
So I log in with +1,000,000 EXP in multiple skill and don't feel any different.
It's a bug caused by the fact the interfaces will usually load in before your account data. Without any data the interfaces assume 0 xp in each skill, so when your xp data then arrives from the storage server the interface thinks you are gaining all you xp at once and thus is triggers the xp gain counters. Not really something the can fix as it is the result of lag.
