But mobs are aggro in wildy anyway

Polls General Discussion
The issue is for both of these polls, they're kind of exclusive. You either do this or you don't do this, little to no middle ground. So you either ignore the large group that lost the poll or you ignore the larger group that won the poll. With some of the other polls they could say "ok, X won so we'll do that first, but Y was incredibly close so we're going to schedule that to be worked on after X is done". But these polls you can't really do that. But these polls also run the issue of why should marginally larger group Y get what they want when they are barely bigger than group X when what one group wants is directly detrimental to what the other wants. On a poll like this I think the fairest course of action would be making it a personal setting: If you want the realism etc you can have it turned on. If you don't leave it off.

10th Nov 2014 - Prifddinas - Lost City of the Elves - Part 2
I've found tree shaker more than adequate. I've used 3/4 of 1 tree shaker and I got Dragon, Kingly plus several Ninja, Magpie and Zombies implings amongst others. Overall it's been a fairly painless and easy experience to collect the implings, granted I'm missing crystal but I'm confident tree-shaker in Crwys vos will see to that soon and failing that I can world hop the new dg spawn point until I find one. I also don't quite follow where people are getting this RNG complaint from. I mean the new reqs are: You must aid Lord Amlodd in cleansing shadow cores. Cleanse 15 of each type of core. Only very minor RNG since the drops of cores are pretty common. You must help Lady Ithell with crystal singing research. No real RNG here just get Eluned to make the items and hand em over. You must start helping Lady Meilyr to retrieve her lost potion recipes. Minor bit of RNG here in getting the recipe BUT with the spawn rate of recipes directly tied to your herb and dg levels with a big boost for being max they aren't that hard to come by. You must collect one of each impling for Daffyd in Prifddinas. Fairly easy between dg dung spawns, treeshaker and puropuro You must unlock all of the combination potion recipes from Clan Meilyr in Prifddinas. Bit more RNG than the help lady meilyr, but again same scaling rarity means its not too bad - the 20m price tag is the worse part imo. You must earn the title 'of the Amlodd' (Speak to Lord Amlodd while enlightened by a light creature familiar). Straight forward You must earn the title 'of the Hefin' (Complete 200 laps of the Prifddinas agility course). Straight forward You must earn the title 'of the Ithell' (Create 100 Crystal flasks). Straight forward - done in 2 days max. You must earn the title 'of the Meilyr' (Harvest 200 Harmony moss). Can be annoying if your pillars are sucky ones but straight forward enough, especially since no disease. You must find all eight journal pages from the Hefin Agility Course in Prifddinas. You get 1 journal every 25 laps so pretty easy since you gotta do 200 anyway. Collect all the memoriam crystals. The one for doing the emote is a bit of a pain atm, but they seem to be addressing the rarity issue so I don't see this as a big deal since the other 15 are all easy to get.

A few questions about elder trees.
Just to clarify 1 small detail: Once you use up an elder tree with 5 mins of wc it is dead for 10 minutes across all worlds and that is 10 minutes of in-game time. E.g. if you kill varrock elder then immediately log off for the night it won't be ready to cut in the morning, you'll still have to go elsewhere for 10 minutes.

Quest Help - Eyes of Glouphrie
According to rswiki: The one by Brimstail. One inside of the main gate (south-east from Brimstail's cave). One by the gnome agility course entrance (near the spirit tree). One by the giant tortoises north-west of the Grand Tree (in the pen north of the swamp). One at the top of the Grand Tree, by the prison. One by King Narnode. (You may have to range or mage this one, as it can get stuck behind a trapdoor)There is a possible glitch with the creature at the top of the tree where you kill it and climb down the ladder too quickly; you won't get credit for the kill. This is also possible if you re-enter the Gnome Stronghold too quickly. So if your sure you did all 6 on the list I guess bug report/contact jagex is the way forward

In terms of 1 word categorisation Zamorak is Chaos not Destruction. In terms of actuality of meaning Zamorak represents self-improvement and development of strength through the use of uncertain situations forcing people to adapt. This quest perfectly fits with his philosophy as he wants the stone to strengthen himself, but he also wants it to make Sliske's game more uncertain as it'd mean the currently down and out Zamorak is no longer a lost cause and could potentially rival Saradomin's power again plus it upsets the whole dynamics of the game as it takes away Sliske's power and the incentive for gods to comply to the notion of the games.

6 dose flasks back to vials
At present afaik there is no way to do it. There was some talk of it in relation to elf city though so might see elf city decanter or a new guy near the crystal rock things offering it with new update I'd hope.

I find it interesting how many people fixate on the repairable part of the dyes as if it some how magically makes these armour cheaper and more affordable and more acceptable than degrade to dust. But the repair cost is going to be identical to the creation cost and only doable with the raw materials, so fundamentally it makes no difference to how they function - you just end up with a 0 unusable item instead of nothing but in both instances they exact same cost is needed to get a full 100 one again. If anything the repairability will make them worse for people with low stats because they won't be able to self-repair all that easily, plus the market will likely shift more to focus on the materials than on the finished items so it'll make it harder (slightly) to get the item in the first place with lower stats.

Behind The Scenes - November
In terms of raw xp:hr pp and dwarf traders rule the roost still. Elves are a good rate, bolstered by some nice loot and the afk-ish factor but not the best raw xp:hr

Probably for the numerous better methods and things you can't do in elf city. DG? Nope Most of slayer/combat? Nope PvM? Nope Fishing? Nope Best thief xp rates? Nope Gilded altars? Mostly still Yanille Runecrafting? Nope Smithing? Nope Divination? Looking likely to be mostly outside for best xp still. Hunter? Nope, mostly Most of Farming? Nope etc.

afking and making it a pita to traverse dungeons is why I dont want aggro back.

Herbicide vs Ectoplasmator
I'd agree with the both case - why limit yourself when you can have both functions and use only 1 inventory space, which is hardly an issue for basic slayer between spring cleaner, magic notepaper and the lack of need for food. My standard fare for all slayer tasks is bonecrusher/plasmator/prayer urns with charming imp, spring cleaner and a stack of magic notepaper and herbicide & seedicide are additions subject to the specific monster.

Bonus xp & F2P
I'm a paying member but I can confirm with 100% certainty F2p can earn bonus xp but they cannot use bonus xp. It's use is a members only feature.

Behind The Scenes - November
Not surprised really - Guthix Caches was supposed to be first week of november and since they made a point of mentioning it in BTS it kinda suggested week 1 was now an empty space but they wanted to make it clear they did have a plan for it. Plus the careful wording of elf city being the first update of the month, without referencing a time period.

Could even maybe argue for 21/26 with the perma bonfires for fm.

Behind The Scenes - November
8 clans, 2 skills a piece. 16/26 ain't half bad. Plus since iorwerth 'melee' is 2 skills and iorwerth and cadarn melee/magic/ranged kinda includes def and hp as sub skills of combat its actually incuding 19/26

XP waste and "rested bonuses"
I don't like this idea at all. I don't get what is the benefit of rewarding people for not playing? I mean it's not like the vast majority are just home 24/7 to play most of us are at school or work for the day. I get bxpw can be annoying if you happen to be working or whatever, which is where the festive and enlightenment auras work better.

Yeah none of the elf clans are fishing related so no new fishing training - at best we may get a few spots for existing fish types on the sea-front side of the city. But even that is a bit of a long shot.

Of course the bag won't really solve that issue of chatbox spam unless you intentionally leave a space to allow the shard to be obtained in the first place.

Last they said about the maw was it'd be giving things to help when you work on trim reqs. So like maybe you'd get a thing that gives a bonus or multiplier to cwars tickets for a few games.

[Update] Prifddinas - Lost City of the Elves
I'd agree with helring I do not see a need to add more access to seeds. I'd support making the crwys seeds more diverse in a way that say kwuarm is 1 in 50 atm you'd add cadantine, snapdragon, torstol, and rannar say but the overall odds of any one of them would be 1 in 50 making each on their own more like 1 in 250 (forgive me if this math is wrong, just in door from work)
-
80+ thieving xp rates
^ Arguably pping with others makes things slower or worse because every time someone starts pp it has a chance to reset the door locations. This means if pping with others on the same world the doors change more frequently and have a chance to change while your mid-room making you have to check already opened doors again. The only time its really beneficial is if you are consistently just behind someone else so that they do the work of finding the door and you are there just in time to see which door is correct.

27 Oct 2014 - Broken Home & Guthixian Caches
I disagree, I think the quest turned out really well, regardless. I've never really considered horror games as something that needs a full explanation for every little thing. It was enjoyable to me as a puzzle quest without any combat, which we don't get nearly enough of. I'd rather have a decent sized quest with a few things that can be filled in later by player theory or dev questions than a small throwaway quest thats too short and boring. The thing is though no-one is asking for explanation for every little thing or saying that it wasn't a good quest. There's a difference between leaving a few mysterious details untold to leave questions like the asylum register, the trapped thief, the unopened room, the room of skeletons, what the heck that glass wall room was meant for or what exactly was in Nabor's notes or why the boy is so beat up etc. And leaving out a large portion of the plot that fills out at least some basics on the horror's origin - the way the story plays at present in-game the kid and his dad are pretty much superfluous as everything appears to come back to the monster. The only indicator this isn't the case is the opening giving us the context of the mythos of the house, but without the follow up plot to fill out that mythos it feels unresolved and swept aside with the monster, instead of being a twist with an extra layer of horror and mystery for the house, just becomes deus ex machina to tidy up the haunting issue we learnt nothing productive about.

27 Oct 2014 - Broken Home & Guthixian Caches
Don't get me wrong I wasn't saying something else should've been cut instead - I more meant that in terms of budget vs content it is dumb to cut a book that explains so much of the plot for the sake of preserving a budget. Plus the thing is with that book it isn't really a lore book as such - to me a lore book is something that adds extra flavour or information that is ultimately not integral to the story at hand. Where as this book, though it contains some lore, was more a piece of the story. It directly resolves most of the questions of the pre-monster twist plot that the quest is introduced on.

27 Oct 2014 - Broken Home & Guthixian Caches
I have to say of all the things to cut due to budget that book was kinda the worst since it y'know actually explains like 50% of the plot and also makes me wish I'd of opted for the bad ending.
