Ok - sorry but I really haven't been paying attention - is the Elf slayer master going to be higher ranking than Kuradel? Yes, new highest lvl req slayer master but in lore terms he is not an actual slayer he just likes watching slayers so Kuradel will remain the skill cape master and will be who provides the monster for his new dungeon.

Jagex Stance On Multilogging - Changed
Ah so jmods aren't telling us they rule is being changed just that they aren't bothering to enforce it unless you abuse it. Always good to know the finite rules you sign up to are less red lines of do not cross and more guidance of well we say its wrong, but as long as your nice we won;t worry about it. Feels to me like they need to do a serious rule re-write so we can have a finite set of these are rules where the expanded descriptions detail this is the red line cross it and we will hadouken you into oblivion, but also these things are deemed tolerable, even though they might seem in breach of the short form of the rule.

That is indeed an issue I agree, however that does not alter the fact I do not think it is appropriate for the elder gods plot to be taken to that lower end. Breaking/lowering one thing simply to fix another issue is never a good solution. Plus does this poll not address that issue in part? Bik is slated as an Experienced quest. Wen as an Master. Only Ful is slated as Gm. In addition to that the next 'god series' quest aimed to be in 2014 ought to be somewhere in the lower end, and not a novice with any luck and Timbo Quest - The Mighty Fall is slated for June release as a Master quest. Plus given the closeness to 200 quests it seems quite likely they'll try and rig elf finale to hit that magic 200 which would require quite a good slew of quests in the coming months which, one would assume, could not all be novice and gm. Also I think the slew of Novice and Gm was actually fixing a pre-existing issue. After all you'd expect a relatively 'neat' curve where each category has progressively less quests. At Present we have: 53 Novice 61 Intermediate 39 Experienced 30 Master 9 Grandmaster Which as a curve is relatively ok, but still kinda short on Novice quests and maybe a little low on gm - if you take out the 4 Novice quest we have had since Sept 2012 they are a bit shorter. The other 6 Novice ranked quests in that time period were all remakes and did not effect the totals. Equally take out the 5 Gm quests from that time frame and you are left with the GM end of the curve being worryingly short with only 4 quests. Arguably if you wanted to fix the issue of the curve entirely we need another 8+ novice quests before the other categories get a look in. But even so I do think it is time we have some quest in the middle categories and we do indeed have some of the cards judging by all the options available - But I still do not think Elder Gods needs to or ought to be a story happening as low down as intermediate quests.

Just because Jagex have tightened up the introduction of the gods and their lore and given them to early players does not, to me, make a good case for dragging every last iota of lore down to that level for its origin point. There should be things that are higher up that are left to discover as you progress (assuming you do live in a bubble and avoid reading a thing about them before hand). Also to your strike through I never said the 'trivial matters' HAD to be low end and nothing more. Stories progress and develop and can become quite big. I was simply saying let those stories be there in the low end for the lower players, there's plenty of them there after all and they tell wonderful stories many of which bridge upwards to the higher end; just don't try and force every story to have a root in that lower end because some stories are just bigger stories that should be exclusively in the higher end of things.

I kinda wish they'd name it something other than Max Guild. Something like Masters Guild perhaps. Personally I wouldn't be opposed to (though it'd never happen) it being Legends guild and shuffling the Heroes and Champions names up 1 stage with Adventurer's Guild becoming the bottom rung.

But the Elder God story has already begun, so starting it again is rendered rather pointless. It was begun the first time 'the stone of jas' was uttered and we were left asking who is Jas? It was begun the first time the oracle muttered the name Wen. It was begun the first time we spoke to the Tokhaar and began to learn of Ful. It was begun when we spoke to the mysterious heads in Ooak and learnt who made them. That start is good and is solid, its woven through many quest arcs and builds from mysterious questions to a solid idea by the end of Fotg. Equally I fail to see how any sort of research could provide any useful information. Only Zaros, Seren, the dragonkin and the Tokhaar seem to have any notion at all of the elder gods existing beyond oh shiny powerful object someone left behind. So I fail to see how we could uncover any meaningful information on them, especially when you consider they went to sleep BEFORE the first sentient beings (outside the tokhaar) came anywhere near Gielinor. I just don't see how we feasibly could uncover anything via research without seriously devaluing the mysterious unknown overtones of the existing routes into the elder gods. And its not like fotg is 100% vital to locating them - Ful requires BoE so the Tokhaar are friendly with us and we could ask more about Ful and learn her locale through that (though its already pretty obvious). The Oracle already mentions Wen so with the right coercion and questioning could easily unveil what is under the mountain. The mysterious head Saradomin sunk would've quite obviously seen where Bik went to sleep and as the more talkative of the heads could be plied for information if we un-sunk it. Of all 4 elder god locations the only remote surprise was Jas, players had long since sussed Ful would be at the volcano, Wen at ice mountain and the dramen tree spirit looking one ought to be somewhere around the Dramen tree. Plus I don't see the Elder god plot as a whole as needing that lower end content - it is fundamentally a high end story. We need to be powerful and strong to have any hopes of dealing with them, so I don;t see why that needs to be diluted down with a lower handholding pathway in. The lower lore is the younger gods and the trivial matters of the mortals, leave the elder gods to the higher end. The story can still start off at a lower key, but it doesn't mean it needs to be lower easy tiered quests.

The wording of the document to me implied killing a DK rather than all 3, as it did say killing one of each of the following. Plus there are 9 dark crystals listed in the brief and 9 items on the list if you assume 1 DK. I'd say that order is pretty decent. QBD and DKs could probably be interchangeable, but with the amount of damage types etc they seem like the ones that could be render really a pita with too many of the dark crystals. Also mole and kbd could prob be interchangeable, with KQ (who you missed) just above them.

Bik or Wen are my top choices, interesting that judging by the thread 'Mah and the Abyss' was going to be an option but was removed shortly after the thread went live. I feel like Ful will stand a high chance of winning just because its the most recognisable option and the flock will come. The general research idea is TERRIBLE in my opinion - we already know where they are thanks to the god-specific chronicles found at their resting sites via the measure.

What did you do today?
^ If you wanna put muscle on there is 0 reason for you to put fat on and although gaining muscle does increase BMR needing more calorie intake to maintain you absolutely do not want to do so by piling on the carbs. If you need to increase calorie intake to sustain/gain muscle you should focus on increase your protein intake and foods that are nutritious, but light on carbs like vegetables and fruits and meats.

Jagex Stance On Multilogging - Changed
Whether or not you CAN do it does not have a bearing on if you SHOULD do it or if the rules ALLOW it, equally nor does whether you think it is a big deal or not. As the rule is written it outright bans multi-logging. The jmod stance on it allows it, so long as you do not use it to gain an unfair advantage. What you are proposing using it for unequivocally falls under the definition of an unfair advantage as you would knowingly and purposefully be subverting a purposefully imposed limitation with the sole intent of gaining an advantage over other f2p players by being able to perform more concurrent trades and therefore would be breaking the rule under both definitions they have given. Also it is utter nonsense to imply p2p is RWT or an 'unfair advantage' it is a paid membership expressly for the purpose of gaining more features and allowing the company to exist. There is nothing fairer than getting content for a paid subscription as a return for supporting a business and allowing it to employ staff and continue to develop the game, in this day and age you should be thankful Runescape even goes against the norm and allows such an extensive demo in the form of f2p. Bonds and TH are a different issue entirely and not for this thread to debate.

Jagex Stance On Multilogging - Changed
Shouldn't you get P2P, then? If you made 2 more F2P accounts to get six GE slots, you're effectively cheating Jagex out of membership fees. Well, if I'd ask friends to buy/sell things for me, would that also be cheating Jagex out of membership fees? The result is the same, but the method is different. 2 GE spots are enough for me 99% of the time and for the other 1% I ask friends. If multilogging is somewhat "allowed" for certain things, I'd rather use another of my own accounts for buying/selling. It's less risky and I don't have to bother others with it. Even with this changed perspective they have specified it must NOT be used to gain an unfair advantage. Using extra accounts to have extra ge slots IS an unfair advantage, as you are bypassing a purpose built limitation. As soon as you use money from the main to buy items for the main on the 'mule' account you are giving yourself an unfair advantage and not playing 'within the spirit of the game' Getting a friend to do it is a different matter because they are using their slots to help you out and not bypassing any limitations - they are simply using their allowance to assist you. But with your own secondary account you are intentionally and purposefully bypassing a limitation to gain an advantage (buying/selling more things in a shorter time).

I suspect they won't be anything amazing. Given the existing lvl 70ness I'd expect upgrades possibilities to be t75 since that tier large does not exist, t80 since its 1 tier up or maybe, just maybe t85 to offer a stepping stone for all styles between t80 and t90.

Another question would be: Why does the museum let you touch a ~10k year old cape and then let you buy it to wear in the first place?

Elf City – Design Documents - General Elf City Discussion
The trouble with te Imcando pickaxe was it too all the good features of Inferno Adeze and attempted to distil them into a pickaxe form and slapping on a degradability function without considering firstly that most people who do not drop ores actually want ore to sell not bars thereby rendering it most useless to nearly every miner. And secondly that the sheer number of ores one has to mine makes it highly impractical to recharge all the time, thereby rendering it ineffectual to the remaining drop miners all with the shiny veneer of requiring extended training in a sub-par mine and an expensive pickaxe many opt to not invest into make. It might've sustained some usage if it didn't need charging and wasn't a d-pick upgrade, but alas it got Jagexed into uselessness.

Hall of Fame challenge is gonna be a bit of a pita to clear, but not so bad. Overal the Max guild sounds quite nice - I like the idea of the 27 flag poles where you can add the 26 skill capes and quest cape. Not hugely useful but at least it gives us something to do with them and a way to see them instead of just gathering dust in a poh. I don't get why the charge or not of the portal is tied to just the 1 hall of fame challenge though. To me it would make more sense to have max = charge to change, comp = free to change. Nice to see crystal 'set' will be complete with 2hs (bow, hally staff) and 1hs (dagger, wand/orb and 'chakzam') Presumably dagger and chakzam thing will have oh. Though I do hope there are more crystal items yet to be seen for other clans (lvl 70 hatchet and pick maybe?)

LVL 4 with Bunny Ears and Yo-Yo
I'd agree with Steph 1/10 no stats. It's not like you've made an amazing skill pure or something - you've just got a cruddy account with a couple of hours of xp on it that happens to be old enough to have gotten a couple of holiday items.

backpack update
No. Part of the challenge of skills and combat is the limits on what we can carry. Removing the need to run back of forth or carefully decide what items to take would render things far to easy whilst equally making a whole host of items pointless. Such as all the beats of burden, the rune essence pouches, the gem bag and coal bag, magic notepaper and signs of the porter. Also this belongs in the suggestions forum and people should not "leave [their] own comments about any other updates you feel would better the game" as they would create their own suggestion thread for the purpose.

Elf City – Design Documents - General Elf City Discussion
I can see the argument either way, I just personally feel it perhaps deserves a little grace period subject to just how hard the rocks are to actually come by - especially if they are limited to be ONLY obtainable within the elf city which may render some extremely hard to acquire at first due to overcrowding.
-
Elf City – Design Documents - General Elf City Discussion
I wasn't particularly counting skills because they aren't a direct requirement of trim, as such, and are instead an issue for the plain comp.
-
Elf City – Design Documents - General Elf City Discussion
I think it kinda hinges on just how hard the rocks are to get. Whilst chronicles were indeedy grindy they can be cleared in what 16 hours or so? If this is anything like the original you could be looking at a solid 3-5 hours per set, making for 96-160 hours to do it all, which in terms of a requirement added on post-launch of the cape does far outstrip any of the others in terms of time investment. So to me would warrant at least some degree of grace - the full 32 week may be excessive though.
