  1. 1) You missed death lotus darts out between ascensions and zaryte etc. 2) Dual wield > 2H - better dps overall.
  2. I feel like maybe the Lati@s Mega in XY was like a beta/alpha leftover, or at least I hope so. I mean with the remakes coming it doesn't make sense for any sort of Lati@s thing to be in XY - just like the other megas from that game aren't; plus it does seem very very derpy to take 2 distinctly different pokemon and give them 1 model for megas.
  3. As megas go, mega sableye is kinda boring looking...

Is it just me or does there seem to be a lot more airbenders (e.g. Bumi) than there genetically has been, also certain imprisoned folks seem to be getting their lost bending back... Gonna be an epic season.
  5. You kinda undermined your argument of 'useful' when you kept a granite maul, since its rather low level junk surpassed by the ZGS, whip and dragon weaponry.
  6. Whatever they are doing definitely seems to be gnome ball related with the gnome baller shorts and torso in the mix as well - althought theres also saph, emer ruby and magic golem outfits...
  7. I definitely think its to do with the balance of the RNG more so than just pure no RNG at all, ever. I can't comment on titles having not attempted them at all, but champ scrolls rarity to me is too far because you can invest so much time and money and thousands upon thousands of kills into it to no avail just because of bad luck. Where as shattered heart and tuska are ok because whilst RNG they are pretty common, most people I know seem to get 1+ mask pieces per task (took me 2 tasks and 3 post-99 kills) which isn't bad at all and shattered heart similarly may have variance in it, but you can pretty solidly churn out all 30 rocks in 1 decent day of play, a bit over 1 day if luck is slightly against you. But of course as covered in another thread I don't think champ scrolls necessarily need to be more common or made easy to acquire, just it'd be nice to have a minigame armour style rarity creep so that there is a line in the sand at some point.
  8. I agree with the notion that RNG shouldn't be a part of the trim (see previous debates on the champs scrolls), however I do think its good they are changing it from 1 to all 5 because, as Gwyn points out it is a COMPLETIONIST cape, not a 'done a bit of it cape' or a 'tried it and gave up cape' if it is going to require the titles at all it ought to require completing the content aka getting all 5.
  9. ^Good. Was such a weird derp to require just 1 for a cape that is about completing things. It'd be like giving someone the gold medal in a race because they were in the lead when they decided to stop 100m from the start of the 400m race.
  10. Nope. The only options are to go with a 'default' window size - e.g. the size it launches, maximised or one of the 'snap to' sizes various os offer by dragging in certain ways.
  11. It didn't help that you included 2 rune types that are not used in combat magic anymore (mind and chaos).
  12. They are talking about making spells consume ammo when using abilities, not about altering the rune costs of the spells themselves. But anyway as pointed out above blood runes ARE useful as ancient mage still uses them. Shanty passes are however worthless, as you can pass for free now. Also dragonhides still give the best protection from magic attacks, as ranged is strong to magic, but weak to melee - however you cannot melee in it as mismatching body/legs/shield class with your weapon class nerfs accuracy heavily.
  13. The other big take away for me was they actually mentioned the skill reworks with mention of talking about them and maybe getting one of them on the books next year. THANK ZAROS! It's about time 'power to the player' actually made them listen on issues like sorely overdue skill reworks. I think the ones they NEED to hit asap are summon, mine/smith and construction. Summon because it has not been eoc-fixed and it needs to be, but hopefully Mod Krista's work with Chris' AI will be rework enough. Mine/smith needs doing because its been spoke of among players for so many years and Jagex themselves brought it up like 5 years ago now. Construction pure and simply because they TOLD us it would be out last year and failed to deliver. After that agility and firemaking probably deserve a once over the most and hopefully fish/cook, wc/fletch and crafting can be rejigged fairly quickly using mine/smith as template.
  14. It's interesting how they said they spoke of them early on then decided not to - like was this not really predictable? Very all on they said elf city would bring a new tier of tools and almost immediately all the focus for that was pick and hatchet they literally set us up with the expectation to then just go 'lol nope'
  15. How is it a 'leak' when it is officially released information from a magazine known for getting a bunch of pre-launch stuff from pokemon company? Any ways the new megas look nice as do the 'ancient devolutions' for kyorge and groudon; be interesting to see 'ancient devolution' concept applied to genesect to show what it was before; would also be perhaps cool if they applied it to some ordinary pokemon to show a 'common ancestor of sorts' (e.g pikachu, minun, plusle, dedenne, pachirisu etc.)
  16. Well it rather depends on which skill your training/using to fight and the gear setup, but alas if you deem camping something like the abyss 'too dull' I fear your not gonna find many tolerable choices since they all revolve around just camping a simple monster. Waterfiends may be a good choice - at ~900xp a kill they are the mob of choice for ranged combat xp gains.
  17. They will have workarounds probably. Im guessing stuns will just be "use a special". Provoke... well, get an eoc friend. I thought the stance with legacy was it wont be able to do the top end bosses due to mechanics and well, thats your choice they aren't going to nerf the monsters to suit. Besides most of the testers from the live stream seemed to be saying it blowed for pvm but was good for pvp.
  18. "At least" is not a good reason to post a really bad rate just incase someone isn't good. If they aren't getting a good rate they need to know what the good rate is so that they know what to aim towards/can be done if they do wish to improve rather than being deluded into the notion they are do amazing because they are beating a lower rate that hasn't be clearly earmarked as a very low bare minimum kinda rate.
  19. ^ I was wondering that as well with both bots running now it would be nice if the title was appended at least for OSRS if not both; just so we can tell without clicking.
  20. If you average 100k an hour solo at higher levels you are doing something very wrong. Soloing c6 meds for floors 30-57 I range between ~60k - ~90k per floor and my average time is ~13mins - and I'm not even that good at doing it fast. Soloing you should be averaging more like 200-300k xp an hour.
  21. Jagex was doing so well on these polls and then they went and became dumb again. Things like the news poll and quest reqs poll for 'gathering data' would supply utterly useless data because they did not allow us to pick multiple options. And then something like this - if this feeds in to dev tactics I'll be so angry. Yes it is a given a lot of players do not care about the lore, that is WHY lore is put into books and secondary things that you do not HAVE to read and understand to progress in-game. If you start putting less effort in to that because a bad option wins you are just giving the middle finger to all of us who DO care about the lore.
  22. Because there IS a noticeably difference between the success rates etc. on each tier of tool and 'everyone just uses the best' is EXACTLY why we need the higher tiers. Everyone is using dragon because dragon is so low. 64 is 1/32th and 57 is 1/64th of the way to 99 - the current best tools you can use are so so so so so low that everyone can easily get to the stage of using them. 71 (the next tier) would be 1/16th of the way 81 would be right between 1/8th (78) and 1/4 (85) 91 would be just udner 1/2 (92) Its not a bad thing that people use the best and don't use the lesser models, when levels allow - it is however a bad thing that every CAN use the best at such a low point of progress. It's just plain stupid that we get no upgrades to our tools for over 31/32th of the skill content. Also @above we aren't 'blindly' looking at level - the items are tiered and as such each tier will be better than the one before. A lvl 71 tool will beat a level 61 tool, every tier is a significant improvement on the lesser tier. The only reason dragon tools seem so much better than other t60 gear is because we do not have better. Dragon gear was absolutely end of the world can do no better amazing gear in general...until barrows came. Then barrows was a god among gods and no pro player would be without it...until bandos came. Then every player worth their salt had Bandos and no-one could imagine anything being more powerful...until nex armours came. Dragon hatchet and pick only seem so amazing because there is nothing better at present, it wasn't that long ago (for pick especially) that rune was the god of gods and how could it get any better?!?!
  23. It's interesting because around eoc jagex was talking of trying to move both mage and ranged away from consumable ammo and I think to an extent that is something they could maybe address with invention and a continuation of the wizard tower quest series. For invention we could work out a way to make like a self-duplicating bolt/arrow/thrown item of various tiers there by rendering ranged ammo-less and with a continuation of the wizards tower series done at roughly the same time we could find a way to infuse ourselves with the basic elements and be able to use them without runes. I think in both cases though it'd have to be something not 100% ammoless forever and maybe limited to like 90+ regions - like perhaps the self-duping ammos would degrade over time and need div energy to refuel them, but balanced in a way that they work out cheaper and less effort than plain ammo. Possibly excluding enchanted bolts and such from the mix on the basis (that if they ever get fixed) they are like 'special' ammo effected by other magic. As for the magic 'ammoless' I'd say limiting it to the 4 elements is enough - especially if Jagex extends ancients to give us 1 set higher in spell tiers (maybe could be done via Seren, sort of like the magic she taught to fight with can only be used be the best mages to stop it being miss-used and could use soul runes) because then the 'normal' mage book with 100% runeless combat would be subpar, whilst the best magic would still require catalyst runes. Or, conversely, keeping to the 'cheap' casting notion perhaps the elements we could learn to use without runes would be better as ones we can derive from within ourselves (mind, body, blood and soul).
  24. The trouble is the 15th Memory, though showing growth, is entirely contradictory to his behaviour we have seen since then. He was not at all patient when we met him in Missing Presumed Death and almost as soon as he returned he launched straight into a battle, again not a very patient act. The in-game version of the lore gave him character growth from childhood to the point of his death - it just wasn't very nice character growth as he went from a seemingly spoilt petulant child straight to father murdering into using real people as his toys into slaying a god knowing it would destroy his world just because he could into a godly being driven only by a lust of destruction and battle.
  25. From about lvl 70 onwards it gets nice and fast. Sinkholes and dailies drop nice chunks of xp and then your regular floors can easily rack in millions of xp a day if you do them well. 5 man larges run in like 100-200k ballpark; heck you can get near 100k xp for solo meds and they are substantially slower than 5 man larges for xp:hr
