Who is to say it is actually a hard-coded req for this quest? Their 10 75s could easily be amalgamating the reqs of the entire series. Plus as long as you use the woodcutting skill during the quest there is no reason it can be required again.

I like it as a name, seems very fitting the series that began with Plague City ends with the Plague's End and it gives me hope that the quest, whilst tying up the elven plot won't forget its roots and finally tie up the false plague, King Lathas and Elena too.

Seems like a safe bet with the 32 rounds of 32 rocks for trim req and 2 halves of the city being released in sept and nov it seems near impossible for the city to die in a week. Not to mention the pvm portal options will no doubt make it quite the hub for people heading out to pvm, and if the mining xp pans out as explained it ought to become the new LRC for mining. And of course the new highest slayer master will keep a steady flow of people coming through, not to mention the 6 new farming patches being added to many optimum farming routes.

But tip.it does not mention, advertise or otherwise promote any other news or update, so why should this be any different just because you happen to enjoy osrs and want attention brought to it? If tip.it made a point of making a fanfare about every piece of RS news by all means plaster it everywhere - but the fact is it does not and as such I see zero reason why 1 specific piece of news should receive special treatment especially in a case that could easily skew the results of a trial run.

You can't expect too much when half their arguments of why it is bad just as equally apply to the other option and are thereby entirely redundant points.

Making such an advert is, by virtue, endorsing it. As I said in my eyes it is none of tip.its business to support or otherwise promote specific updates or content - it is up to Jagex to promote it adequately. Plus in this case I feel it would be almost rigging the results to offer it extra exposure. The whole point is people interest make f2p accounts and after the short trial they can evaluate the worth of having f2p servers. If everyone goes and looks just because their favourite fansite posted a link it'll skew the results of the trial into interest with an influx of people who do not even know what OSRS is and do not care about it in the slightest taking a look just because.

So new training methods are apparently bad now? Does that argument not entirely undermine your case for invention being better? Seeing as invention would be almost entirely training methods. Elf city has training methods, quest, tasks, lore and social content. But I mean of course a new higher tier slayer master for better assignments has no use at all. A pvm portal hub? pfft what use could that be to everyone who loves pvming? New farming plots to speed farming up, along with 2 new trees? What a waste! New top end mining content? What a joke! And that's just the tip of the iceberg of what we categorically know elf city is bringing. I mean all that new content filling out the dead spots and empty top end of at least 16 existing skills is such an utter unadulterated waste! Clearly it'd be much better to have another new, sparsely populated skill to join the queue of needing top end content and clearly instead of the finale of one of the most popular and long awaited quests series it'd be much better to have use all bank standing doing an artisans skill. I mean all it'll be is smithing/fletching/cooking/crafting with a new cosmetic look to it. Ps. you know you'll be getting Inventors xp boosting outfit promo on TH on the weekend of launch, along with an assortment of teleports and such in Solomans.

I wonder how Seren rebuilding is gonna tie in with these 'Seren stones' - also interesting that we will get to meet and talk to a dark gnome and that, with prisoner of glouphrie as a prereq, they have essentially made that 1 quest take you from 1 spirit tree to all 3 planted.

I don't think it is tip.its place to plug, advertise or offer 'official' support any Runescape update to any specific game. They are a fansite to provide neutral guides and for fans to discuss and debate upon. It's up to Jagex to advertise their own updates and fans to pass the message on if they so wish.

I think it's because it's still a shieldbow even with the bonus, so it only gets 100% of ammo damage as opposed to SSB getting 150% ammo damage. Yeah I realised tht after postings. It's pure and simple jagex being stupid thing - make it a short bow and problem all goes away.

But doesn't hex and sagi use the same ammo, which would make them equal? Or is hex not able to fire sagi arrows? I just assumed it could when they made the tweak a while back to allow use of over-levelled ammos and the fact runewiki uses sagi arrows in the damage calcs for it.

I can't imagine any sort of order would make a huge impact on the efficiency of things outside of the very rudimentary skills that make money are best done before skills that cost money, and dg is most efficient if done late on as high/max skills helps.

Unless they changed it very very recently to revert it the scrolls have a right-click dig option that works just fine with the toolbelt; did a few clue scrolls recently and had no issue with it functioning.

How does it work out so bad for abilities? I thought they hinged on your damage stat, which is only marginally lower than sagi short for hex now.

Well as it stands the lore on their end-game is they want to save their dying species and theres an elder halls stuffed full of eggs. So its safe to assume there's a Jas Ful Wen and Bik egg and if their 'saving species' plans and the 'full' part pan out its plausible they'd be a manufactured Mah-esque egg as well as several others. But in terms of actually rejuvenating the existing Mah? I doubt it - they thought she was dead and abandoned her many thousands of years ago now. I mean Gielinor history amounts to ~10k years and that only counts since Guthix arrived and it is the youngest of all the worlds. So we are talking like 100k years+ probably since they abandoned her.

How do we know that Edda- were the first, and just not the next in a long line of elder gods in a long line of unicerses? As the lore currently stands there was at least 1 universe before ours of which Frenskae was the end point and that Dragonking and at least 1 other species came from. The definition for Edda came from the FAQ about this update which explicitly said it meant first of that name; though of course it is worth noting the presumably the source for the memories is Mah, being as we are siphoning her energy when we obtain them. So we do not know the reliability of her deciding to call them the first of their name, only that this is what she has called them as presumably she knows of none of their species coming before them. Of course we equally do not know that she is referring to OUR Elder gods. It is not implausible that Elder gods have repeating lines - Jas births another Jas and so on and so forth and that Jas Ful Wen Bik and Mah are simply the five surviving lines of the dying species, and that the next generation will lose Mah given her deformity.

A level 4 brand new account can also siphon divine energy and cast magic The only untrue part of Sara's list for a brand new blank account is negating the power of the gods. Besides sharks are only an issue if you assume the sharks we fish are one of the well know big sharks like great whites, but theres a whole load of small sharks - mostly in the catshark and lanternshark families, with a few in the dogfish shark family that only grow to about 1 foot long. So carrying around 28 of them wouldn't particularly be difficult even irl.

Dark Crystal thing is pretty simple: You have to kill 1 of each of the 9 bosses on the list. When you do each kill they will 100% drop a dark crystal that gives a random debuff. You can bank that crystal each time and continue with no debuffs for the 'easy' lesser xp version. Or you can hold on to all the crystals gaining more debuffs as you progress resulting in a greater xp reward and being given a permanent version of one of the crystals to use as you see fit. On either route the crystals you find whilst actually doing the task will be taken away and you will only collect 9-11 crystals, subject to whether for DKS they expect you to kill just 1 or 1 of each and whether (if it is one of each) all 3 drop crystals or just the third one. The keeping hold of the crystals harder version is the trim req.

The header of the of the slayer master segment in the document "Slayer master - Combat Level 175, Slayer Level 85" Kuradel is 160 cmb, 75 slayer. It is quite clearly stated the new guy is higher.

I'd assume so, wouldn't want to risk trying to other way out.
