I'd think 6/6/6/4merch/3exile would work best Afterall the shield crew will ve 4200 at lvl 10 Exile sf at lvl 10 would be 2900 with +250 - +750 So it'd be a pretty big hit to sf to take an exile over one of them.

Ugh...You could always not try to train div when you don't have bonus xp rather than mindlessly running memories to a bank only to have to run them back again at a later date, the sum product of which probably utterly negates the effect of bonus xp...but then that would require the average scaper to have an ounce of intellect. -.-

Yes and if it exists it'd be worth using for that overtime saving. However that does not change the fact that only 1 of these will make it into the game and in terms of pure time to 99 mechanics remote offering of boons (thus allowing you to use them efficiently), an extra % increase to the normal xp rate and heck even the ability to stock up a bunch of energy for higher turn in via forager are all quite clearly going to up xp:h rates just about enough to reduce time to 99 more than some stupid auto filling bob.

Yeah even with autofill and empty I see very little point in it even in meta game numbers. The time you spend siphoning and the time you spend turning in will be identical whether you use it or not the only difference is you'll save a couple of seconds every few rounds due to running the few squares to the crater less. Surely remotely submitted chronicles or improved boon are still better overall. Chronicle xp isnt half bad really, just the time it takes to run them ruins it, which this would eliminate. And Boon boost means a outright extra % increase to xp.

My only concern with this game is it seems almost too easy for the guards. Robbers have to blend in and get loot and get it back out and avoid being stuck in jail for over a minute. Guards have to spot and accuse people and if they accuse you your run energy gets so nerfed you basically can't get away, they have an alarm mine that can be put right in the 'bank' that you can't go near, they have a noticeboard that will tell your disguise and they have a means to get a trail put on you. I mean it has potential for balance issues alone in the fact Guards could just camp the bank and spam accuse everyone, but then paste on all those boons they mentioned and it sounds kinda biased against the robbers to a slightly ridiculous extreme. I mean we shall see how it pans out, but I am a bit concerned that its gonna be poorly balanced based on the assumption everyone will run around and play fairly opposed to the obvious spam click and camping routes. It's the kind game that really needs to be biased in construct towards the robbers precisely because the guards role is somewhat easier seemingly.

I'm with you on this just voted and was curious figured one of the top 3 would be winning, and my jaw dropped at the BoB. I suspect people are reading as far as it being huge with more space than a yak and then stopping missing the vitally important fact of divine memories ONLY which renders it utterly useless.

Wut? :huh: ... "roll back"? How the hell is that supposed to work? Pretty simple: Much like the dg ring reset they will offer a 1 time only reset to skills figured into the combat formula allowing previous pures to purge themselves of prayer, summoning, magic, ranged, attack, strength or defence levels gained since eoc that would ruin their pure in the old formula. It'll basically be a case of deleting xp to never be seen again.

I did some googling and it does seem to be catch them all for shiny charm; though it does not require Event Legendaries menaing you only need 706/718 (since they are untradable thereby making it impossible if you weren't there to get them) So Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Deoxys, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Keldeo, Meloetta and Genesect are excluded from the 'complete' count. So that makes Octarine's hit list: Suicune Raikou Entei Lugia [garden tool]-oh Regirock Regice Registeel Latios Latias Kyorge Groudon Rayquaza Uxie Mesprit Azelf Dialga Palkia Heatran Regigas Giratina Cresselia Phione I think I have most, if not all, of them sitting around on a white game cartridge I had from a friend when they sold their DS; if I was asked nicely I could probably trade them for any old junk since I don't need em. Heck could even pokebank them into X for trade in the next couple of weeks while I still got trial running. Edit: Just checked and I do actually have all of them on tht list + a full set of the event ones (which can be traded in non GTS) Quite glad I checked I realised I've left a rather important Ditto on there for my breeding plans lol. Sidebar - does anyone know if the power bracelet etc. work in XY for breeding like they did in BW2 where they force a particular IV from the parent holding it onto the baby?

This divine familiar poll confuses me, why is the utterly useless option winning? The one that holds chronicles and remotely offers them, useful if you are collecting chronicles (and tbf with it you prob should be for the boosted xp) The forager gives you stuff to weave/do more high xp offering, kinda handy. Boost to boon,s diving location limit and signs of porter? Nice reduce item use, increased xp and increased profits. Bob that can hold ONLY divine memories...what exactly is the use of it? There's no reason to take divine memories anywhere and no way to get them other than right next to the one place you need to take them too.

In BW2 it was for catching all of the national dex, but everything I've seen for XY just says 'complete' the national dex which would suggest having just seen them all and thus filled out all the dex entries would suffice. Dunno bout the Battle Maison thing I don't see why they wouldn't add to it, seeing other trainers pokemon a anywhere else adds to the dex, but if they don't then 'complete' should be achievable via battling a few helpful friends no? Or do wifi battles not add to the dex?

That sucks! Though you can totally get them back via 'fakemon' Messing around on my black game I used pokedit to build pokemon the lazy way to mess around with friends and testing them against pokemon bank pretty much all their defaults are built just right in terms of stats and orgins etc to pass checks so you can get them into x and y. The only ones that (quite predictably) don't work from default is an assortment of event-only pokemon that the defaults don't account for and 1 or 2 others. Using messing about the only ones I hit on that wouldnt be allowed were Terrakion due to an illegal move and Arceus, Keldeo, Genesect, Melloetta who all worked fine from the event pokemon database. Also worth noting you can build up a good portion of the older legendaries totally legit for national dex purposes, even if not caught. The three birds are all catchable. Mewtwo is too obv. Celebi can be garnered via the pokebank event (2nd time you use it its the gift you get) Then at the Battle Maison Nita uses the tao trio Evelyn uses the three beats + Latias Dana uses the three golems (and the three birds) Morgan uses the three swords of justice + Latios So in terms of pre Gen 5 legendaries all that is 100% missing is Mew, Lugia, Ho-oh, Kyorge, Groundon, Rayquaza, Deoxys, Jirachi, Uxie, Mespirt, Azelf, Dialga, Palkia, Heatran, Regigas, Giratina, Cresselia, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin and Arceus. But the silver lining there is most of them can be traded for on the GTS afaik only Mew, Deoxys, Jirachi, Shaymin and Arceus can't be traded due to being event-only sources. Of course still a pita and a bummer, be at least we have pokebank now so we can throw a few bucks at it every time a new gen arrives and safely transport a collection across. In a week or two I'm gonna start my big breeding mission to try and get a lvl 100 of every single pokemon stored up and see if I can't make a few peoples day on wonder trade with some of the non-obtainable in this gen pokemon, or ones people ask an arm and a leg for on gts (eg bulba, squirtle, charmander, chespin, froakie and fennekin)

I've only recently got this, the saving grace for me is I have a full set of legendaries for true national dex completion. Admitted been lazy with my migrating though only brought across the ones it is impossible to get without trading and intend to breed to 'naturalise' them as Kalos mons. I'm definitely curious as to how Diance will play out, some relation to Carbink seems almost necessary but then Phione and Manphy are right beside each other in the dex. I get the feeling there may be some twists and turns in the usual format of the end of the dex being 'normal' event legendaries. I mean Diance seems so related to Carbink and Volcanion almost seems like an evolved Heatran. Whilst Hoopa just seems to lack something as a legendary candidate imo - maybe a sort of 'evil' Jirachi but it puts me in mind of golett, castform, shuppet and rotom kinda. Seems like kinda an event exclusive heavy gen already with Mega Blaziken, Diance, Volcainon, Hoopa and Mega Latios and Mega Latias all seemingly on the cards. At above should work no problem - the conditions for such third-wheel legendaries is only ever to go to the right place with both of the other 2, doesn't matter where it came from as long as its still the right species of pokemon.

I doubt legacy mode will do much for chins - they aren't reverting changes just reskinning them to hide new interfaces and abilities you'll still be throwing the same chins with the same limitations as we currently have.

They also said html5 engine would be launching in July last year and offer a smoother, better playing experience for everyone...it's now 7 months down the line html beta has been sitting gathering dust for months and most people can barely get it to load let alone be playable. I'd take anything they said as 'possible' in relation to the big rs3/html5 thing with a rather large pinch of salt at this point. Besides just because it is possible doesn't mean it will be done or that it'd be a good idea to do it in terms of dev cost vs returns. That said I wouldn't mind it being an option if they could muster it, as long as it was just that - an option - not something you have to use to be competitive in combat as I certainly would not be using it. Shrinking the grid to give the illusion of smoother/free movement wouldn't be bad either but some how I can see them being reluctant to actually do it - It'd require every single piece of terrain and object to have its dimensions redefined, plus recoding of movement, and click areas, clue scroll co-ordinate mechanics would need a big overhaul too, as would force walk/blocked tiles to smooth off edges, as well as any dig in place x things from quests etc.

which dung shield to get?
Why would you swap for a worse shield? Yes the defence figures are higher BUT they arent half as good due to the lack of the absorb thingy spirit shields have going on. Plus they have degradation meaning they make your upkeep cost more meaning profits are lessened overall.

Legacy Mode
Yeah trying to implement wasd movement in to a game built around a grid mechanic and that's never had that movement style is fraught with more issues than benefits for anyone but the players who happen to be good at that sort of game. Personally wasd would be an awful move to make from my perspective. Trying to do wasd movement and clicking/using mouse at the same time and using ability hot keys is just not a play style I'm very good at, especially not when I mostly play on a laptop trackpad making wasd+mouse a plain pita regardless of talent. Not to mention camera issues - if it was fixed perspective it'd be a pita to access things and view things in the way we are accustomed too, plus fixed cameras are a nightmare in terms of getting stuck and clipping and such. If it was mouse controlled my god just kill me now - I don't play games with that sort of camera on pc for one very simple reason, like many the combination of the closer screen and quick movements and instability of the camera make me get headaches and motion sickness. Do it on a console game, not a problem, but on a pc screen I'll have my head under a pillow trying to nap til I don't feel like lunch is about to re-appear before I achieve anything. Plus it just seems like a crazy move to make: Half the whiners and quitters and ranters related to eoc hated it because it changed too much. Swapping from point and click to wasd would be a far far far bigger change, not only in terms of recoding fundamentals of the game engine, but also in terms of the end user experience (and it'd be all end user experience regardless of interest in combat). I really wish Jagex wouldn't be so flailing like a fish outta water with combat things though - the beta of improvements is barely underway and many of those improvements directly fix/alter many issues that make people want a legacy mode (eg special attacks, how momentum works, reduced buttonmashing via revolution) and this is only what they've done already not whatever else they are going to look at. Is it not utterly moronic to be developing fixes that may very well solve the issue but at the exact same time be offering to dev an entirely different solution? Could we not get the upgrades out and see how they fair and then, if needs be, address a legacy mode concept? To me this just feels like they've got a canvas and started to draw a cat with their right hand, thne their left hand has grabbed a pen and started working on a giraffe on the other side of the canvas where the only outcome can be the two collide in the middle and nothing quite matches up and nothing can be finished to the right standard so instead of two lovely pictures you end up with one mess.

All polypore tasks come under 1 block so Griflopines Grifolaroos don't need separate blocks, plus ganodermics could be worth doing so it could be a wasted block once slayer is higher.

Pah! I want the scythe I missed! I'm kinda torn on this one; what I'd prefer is for the items to be buyable with loyalty points but *only* if your account is old enough to have owned them. But on the other hand I want Bunny Ears and Scythe! I was around from 01 right through but my current account started 24th Dec 2003 so I missed them.

Statswise the Kharidian Exile does seem to be better from the leaked info, however tht info lacked traits and if he does not have solidarity trait equal to or greater than jod's 100 he'll be useless. Afterall Jod isn't just it's stats its the +100 per unique crew member, meaning when used you get at least +200 up to +500 to each stat.

It's a probable one yes, but they weren't exactly given a complete list or definite plans just a general idea of that there will be many ways to get there, much like Varrock with a teleport spell and lode stone being definite and the others being probable inclusions (spirit tree, glider etc.)

This definition is necessary as in Runescape a new teleport =/= a new spell all the time For example the treasure trail telescrolls, new teleport not a spell The desert amulet teleport, new teleport not a spell. New fairy rings, new teleport not a spell. 'spellbook' is being used an an adjective to describe where the 'new teleport' will be, just like say 'new brown dog' doesn't mean a new brown. It means a new dog that is brown.
