I'd agree with that for sure. I find it a bit laughable about how many people are complaining games are too long as they last 20 minutes and it not being frantic enough. Its like well no you don't want it to be frantic - frantic would be robbers blindly running to hopefully grab loot before time expired. It's supposed to be cunning and subtle and take you're time acting like an NPC to fool the guards. Plus in all honesty most games only end up lasting that long precisely because the balancing is wrong - guards are so op that robbers can't get anywhere near the loot, especially as their numbers dwindle so you end up with them just walking in circles looking for an opening or outright hiding thus making the game run 20 minutes. If robbers stood a real chance of winning things would probably end much quicker cause robbers would get the loot they needed or the guards would actually catch the last person because rather than hiding they took a viable opening to try and get somewhere and got caught.

I don't think it really qualifies as a delay when they have not announced it will be coming at a specific time. Any hints they do give of when they expect it to be ready before officially saying it will be X are merely development cycle estimates - a measure that is likely to shift quite dramatically as development progresses. It is simply the nature of development, especially in a behemoth like Runescape, that when you sit down and start you might be able to say we hope this will be out this year. But then a bit further down the line you'll find stumbling blocks and have to say well this probably wont be done til March next year and so on and so forth. It is a fools errand to judge them over shifting development scopes on projects we have no official release date for - even the biggest game devs in the world have to shift their estimated releases frequently sometimes by several years.

Draw = free bxp boosting. I hate boosters, they ruin minigames. It wouldn't exactly being boosting as you need to waste a full 20 minutes for a draw scenario to happen. In fact it'd be much faster to boost by purposefully getting caught or purposefully letting loot be taken for a specific team to win alternate games. First arrest holds you for like 30 seconds, jail for 1 min to become guard - thats like 2 minutes for a boosted guard win. Usually a drop off point right by bank and plenty of loot, again a boosted win could be cleared in like 1-2minutes.

If I remember rightly, and I'm going back a good eight years here, the whole "Earth is flat, edge of the world" theory stemmed from the Macedonian Empire, which had effectively become, geographically speaking, too large through military conquest to sustain itself economically, and they effectively made up a lie to convince people not to expand it further. Of course, it was pretty easy to spread propaganda back then. That said, Aristotle, even during Alexander III's reign, had started to talk openly about a round Earth. What is definitely true is that Columbus wasn't flying in the face of reality when he "discovered" America. He knew perfectly well that the Earth was round and, eventually, if he carried on in that direction he'd make it make to Eurasia, somewhere. Well yeah the entire purpose of the voyage was to try and discover a shorter sea trading route between England and Asia, the only shock was the fact a whole continent they hadn't known about existed inbetween.

I think its much more acceptable by the fact they've been open honest and announced it an advance rather than the usual the week comes and goes with no sign of the update and we're lucky if a jmod in passing mentions on twitter to a direct question it got delayed.

People thinking that earth was flat is a total myth. Most historic records document people perfectly well knew it was round for most of history and there's only a couple of examples of people who thought otherwise. Yet these oddballs are the ones people focus on, despite being a great minority.

Well since Octarine seems unresponsive to my offerings it seems I have spares of Mew, All of Gen 2, 3 and 4 and the event legendaries from 5 (Victini, meloetta, keldeo, genesect) sitting around. Might have to dump em in Wondertrade.

I think this games biggest issue atm is that noticeboard is op, guards can camp loot and guards can came deposit points and the prison. Makes it next to impossible to win without sacrificing ppl at every loot + teamwork for robbers whilst guards can just stand around and spam click solo and win with ease. Possibly something that could help (other than hiding loot and deposit points) would be to make guards suffer the same fate as robbers - accuse to much they are booted off the force and become robbers. That way they can't just camp and if they do just spam it wont get results. Some of the limitations on robbers seem very unfair too - can't swap form when accused as a means of escape*, can't escape jail like at all without perk or sheer dumb luck, have to travel in areas/ways npcs don't (eg the swimming and climbing on ship and round edges of map where NPCs dont seem to go. Also the fact robbers have only one means to win - get the loot - where as guards have two - get the robbers or run out of time. Seems to me if time runs out it ought to be a draw - the guards failed to catch the robbers, but the robbers failed to get the loot. *I mean sure if they can still see us it'd be a bit dumb; but maybe break line of sight allows swap mechanic.

I think a good fix would be to make it so guards cannot enter or see inside buildings and make the loot move around whenever a robber becomes a guard. That way they can't camp it, but you still have to get by them. Also infected units are so broken - you cant escape being them but noticeboard still tells people ur w/e the unit was b4 infection.

The jail thing is annoying me too. Escpae jail in under 1 min or become a guard, great fun mechanic aside from the fact there is only 2 ways out: 1) A 1 use key pickpocketed from a guard either on you or brought by a team mate. 2) Buying the spade perk And the key has an issue in that if any guards are there due to over accusing they can immediately capture you again. Frustrating to say the least.

Well my fear has turned to reality. All the loot is in 1 place and the guards can just stand there and there is a graphical indication of when someone takes loot. This is entirely too easy for guards and too hard for robbers because robbers can't do anything to not making it obvious when they pick up loot whilst guards don't have to do anything but sit by the loot and spot who takes it. Loot needs to be spread around the map OR in a building guards cannot camp in and lacks graphical evidence of when loot is picked up.

Perhaps a solution for pvp areas would be to display 3 combat levels side by side - melee, ranged and mage - could do it with little icons or the colours (orange/yellow, green and blue) You might not be using all three but people would be able to see at a glance the kind of threat you could pose.

Except I have not done more solo floors than team floors and I still have had more T11 drops solo than in teams outside of hardmode. Personally I suspect the drop rates are somewhat linked to the party levels - the vast majority of my T11 drops in teams have come from all near maxed teams, whilst more diverse teams have seemed to get much lower results, which could suggest the average level being lower is shifting the drops. Which would be in fitting with me getting more T11 solo when the average lvl would be my own, and sort of coincides with the fact I suddenly started getting t11 mage drops right when I got 99 mage and of all the t11 drops ranged is still my least common, which fits with my ranged being sub-par compared to the rest. But that would take a lot of research I cba to prove. Plus I did not advise doing anything specific other than repeating the floors for the bosses over and over or using hardmode for more reliable t11 drop rates.

You'd earn 1%. It is hard coded off the base xp rather than the xp you actually gain. Even in the in-house bonus xp for doing the 'right' armour and the bought upgrades don't factor in, let alone eternal sources.

Breeding up some perfect pokemon ought to be a breeze for me in XY it seems. I have the magical perfection of a 6 IV perfect Ditto. So if I'm not mistaken I can breed for moves only learnable as egg moves and they will 100% pass down and ensure I've got the hidden ability if required. Then I can breed for the desired nature. Then with everstoned parent and destiny knotted perfect ditto I should be able to reasonably quickly breed a perfect IV offspring. Only ones that may prove tricky are ones with gender limitations (eg breeding for a female combee to get a perfect vespiqueen) Especially once I get hatching opower lvl 3 and setup a fletchling with flamebody and fly so I can quickly move between daycare, lumiose and kiloude + further speed up hatching all in 1 pokemon. My only issue will be I kinda want to gather a perfect IV collection of all 719 (with obvious exceptions in that legendaries and unown can't be perfected as they can't breed) so I'm gonna come mildly stuck on some of the evo items like dusk stone where you need more than there are in-game.

Tell that to 90% of my Non-hardmode T11 drops coming in solo floors and half my friends list having similar results. It is a plain a simple fact I have had more T11 drops in solo floors than in team floors and I know plenty of people who have experienced similar.

1) You can get T11 drops on any team size with any complexity. In fact many report, myself included, finding more T11 drops going solo than in a team. It is just a matter of doing the floors they appear on over and over until you get the desired result. Don't forget 2 bosses drop the arrows - Saggitare and Skele Trio. As a boost you can find a friend with hardmode unlocked and duo those floors. Hardmode bosses drop T11 ~50% of the time making it very easy to get the desired drops. 2) Whilst in a dungeon right-click the ring of kinship and select customise. You have to get any 1 track to the max tier to complete the task. Beserker for melee and Desperado for Ranged are considered the best rings. It costs ~300k tokens in all to max a ring. 3) No tricks to it really, pure and simple luck. The only trick that can be applied doesn't help you as you have high stats (Going with a player with higher stats than yourself to force more high level doors that they can open and you can't)

Probably the same reason they think a BoB is useful for divination - They are a bit daft and jump to random conclusions that entirely contradict what we have been told and can see with our own eyes. (What we can see in this case being the fact energy is a resource - we can sacrifice xp to get more of it or sacrifice it to get more xp - and memories are a by product - they serve no purpose other than being turned in for xp or resources.)

It doesn't really need to change the wilderness is supposed to be a dangerous place and it is your job to ensure you survive if you wish to use it. Plus let us not forget pking is pretty much entirely dead in rs atm so the odds of actually running into anyone, especially in the underground route to the air obelisk is almost zero, and it is low enough level wilderness that you can teleport out. If you are continually running in to a clan you could use another server, odds are you are on their homeworld and thus continually seeing them whilst all other worlds are empty.

But inventor doesn't use memories the resource supplied by div for inventor is energy which will be used to fuel the contraptions. We've known this for quite some time now and its the same reason why in div we weave energy but give the memories back to the anima mundi.
