well... go to http://www.runescape.com Click polls, then poll archives...check the one about player moderators, and you'll see that the vast majority of people are fairly content with player mods. about 2k people (who voted) have encountered rude mods. I'd rule out a good 500 people who were just throwing in incorrect answers to mess things up. So, there's a good answer. I think they're a great addition, and really make the game good, so we can have some better in-game moderation.

I see jagex killed 2 birds with one stone...in a previous poll, mining was ranked one of the top skills that people wanted an update from. All of the rewards have something to do with mining. Clever. yanks, the reason that we have goals is not straight forward, nor set in stone, nor law. It varies from each different person. You for instance, did it for experience. Some may do that too, but some may also do it for motivational purposes. People set goals for themselves to make themselves organized, so they know EXACTLY what they want to do. You are also missing the point in the article. You have interpreted that this is saying that you shouldn't have goals (from what i understand from what you said) and that you always have goals, no matter what. This is true, and no one disagrees with you... If you read carefully, you can understand that it means that people get so caught up in their goal, and so frustrated with things, that they forget about what the game is about. About having fun. You make goals with that, yes, and that is good, but it's about people getting way to caught up in them. Good read, as usual.

pure as in pure in certain skills in particular. Pure also, from another dictionary source means "unmixed with any other matter" Meaning, they're unmixed with defence or such. It makes sense, maybe not with THAT definition in particular, but it makes sense all the same.

Option 4) Smith a good chunk of em (maybe enough for 85), and sell the rest. You're NOT going to want to do a lot of repetative smelting after 99 mining, but it's good to do also, just for some good xp.

i agree. Guthan doesn't hit often, but he will hit the occasional 23 or so, and torag... Jagex in a recent update gave torag rabis, so now he goes crazy and will hit like three 19+ in a row sometimes :P But that's a good set up otherwise. Fyi... I'd remove your c-bow and red d hideand bring a whip. Those 3 items that you have are meant for ahrim. Whip works wonders on him, and if you do the brothers in this order: Dh, karil, ahrim, then whatever, you will have leftover prayer with 70 prayer and can pray on him. So, with a whip, you can also nail karil a lot better, instead of hitting lower with dds. What i do: Kill dh, like you do. Pot up, unload dds specs on karil, switch to whip Use leftover prayer on ahrim and whip him to death. Just my strategy.

Mirawr is pretty cool :o Bad but good barrows run today. So i got on for a bit, and was ready to do barrows. I had stocked myself at about midnight yesterday, so all my stuff was prepared. I headed down, splashed a lot on dharok, but took him down. Then came karil. I did one of my better jobs on him, getting a couple 23s on him. Ahrim was not at home at the time (saw him later). Then came verac. I started on him, not really paying attention, and i got him down to about 4 health. Suddenly, i start whacking him with my staff. I'm like wtf? I didn't turn it off!!! But it wasn't too big of a surprise because the laptop i was does funky things. So verac is hitting 14s on me, and i'm eating and trying to turn magic dart back on autocast. It's not available though... 2 Minds??? What the heck?? I was baffled. But, i switched to my whip and after a few tries hit him for 4 and took him down. I went back up to see what was wrong...2 minds. Yep. hm...guess i must have used them all up on dharok..but i still have...500 deaths???? And there's my problem. In my tiredness of playing rs at midnight, i either grabbed 400 deaths instead of 400 minds, and 100 minds (which i obviously took, and then used all them up on dharok and verac) But that doesn't make sense because i had 500 deaths...meaning i probably took 100, then 400, thinking...i don't know. It's weird. Very weird. So i was asking in blogscape chat to see if anyone was at barrows with extra minds because i had lost my mind. :P . Anyway, this guy, total stranger gave me about 370 minds, which was more than enough. So, i took down guthan and torag with ease, moved onto the tunnel, go to the chest to face ahrim, and i had only about 8 monks left because of fun with verac. Ahrim decided he was grumpy and mad because i stole his staff a bit ago, and nailed me quite a bit. Down to my last monk, he was red-barred, and i exclaimed "for narnia" and killed him. Proceeded to search the chest and what do u know: A happy ending. I saw the guy at the bank and payed him back 400 minds and 100 deaths about.

I don't think TV based soley website advertising will go very far. It's so hard to make people actually remember a website adress they see, while it's easier to make people remember a product. All it is a website name. Also, they can't do the game good justice on a huge screen like that, without ruining the pixel quality. It wouldn't work in the first place, and i doubt sincerely that they'd do it. However, if it did happen, i would be upset, because it would bring a lot of idiots into the game probably. Kids who won't spend more than a month in the game because they can't figure it out, but make it that much worse while they are there. Word spreads fast enough with kids anyway.

In addition to that fun day...i snuck on at about 10:00..woo Started tanning with shey with bout 75k to 77 crafting, and it was really fun just going back and forth with some company. Shey had to go, and i was tanning/crafting alone...very close to 77, and decided that i should have a little party...just cause. Went down to saru's house because i think swagger was looking at it for party inspection...and the people there congratulated me. But in more detail...saru was yelling at me to yell at my friend to come (ben, he was at barrows i think) because he had to go soon. Sooo ben finally made it, and then it happened. Saruman44 went into the deepest dance trance i've ever seen. Every had their messages and sent them off, even momma, who was having fun in GWD, but while it happened, saruman was entranced by dancing, and could not look beyond the his world. It was impressive. So. Long story short: Full red d hide! woo!
