Wow. This is absolutely hilareous. I remember about 2 years ago i was mad because the pics on the main page were there still from the beginnings of RS2. so, it went on for a while that they had inventory pictures and the items in there were very old (Rune look updated, etc) Monsters looked old, new prayers weren't added, new skills weren't added, new magic spells weren't added, oh it was awful...and now they're actually update it... Funny.

What can only be described as "RuneScape static"...
Dalcyte replied to nerdattack16's topic in Help and Advice
try refreshing your page...if not, i'd restart your computer? I don't know if it's happening on anyone else's computer, so it might be a problem with the website. -

see, the thing is, jagex has pretty much endless boundries of what they can do with this, all because of one thing. Specials. They can integrate new specials, that do new, unique things, etc, instead of just having a super strong weapon, like the godsword (Which does have pretty beastly specials though)

think about it logically. People have been whining about no high level updates for about a year now...things like this take about a year to make... So jagex is listening to it's players who want the big stuff, and have made it. It just takes a while.

Is Tip.it harder to quit than Runescape itself?
Dalcyte replied to mrmyk's topic in General Discussion
it's not just the community, it's the fact that there things like this. You can read up on articles, things people like to discuss, etc, and then read other people's comments about them. Something about that is very appealing to the human nature. It's even harder to quit if you're in a group like the TET, a mod, a CTET member, etc, because that provides another...ugh, hard to explain i think. -
What Do YOU Want To Achieve By The End of This Year(2007)?
Dalcyte replied to a topic in Questionnaires
85 crafting? dunno how much i will be playing. Could be less. -
It isn't... Congrats on another level 99. Good luck on your random levels! I know you'll achieve a random achievement in no time at all. : ah, but that's what you think. for 500M, you can buy out a city that has stalls that give good exp in it 8-) Anyway, that's a massive achievement you got there. Now, the better question is on how you much you spent..is how much you got back :-s :P gratz.

Allo : That means a lot, to have inspired someone to go for 99 thieving. As for tips for PP. What i always did is go through every room, searching the chest, and then leave to the next room. Repeat until your second to last room, and in that room, check and search urns until the time bar is at about halfway, and once that happens, search the chest (DO NOT SEARCH FIRST, because you'll have scarabs to worry about), and leave to your final room. In your final room, check and search every urn. Once time is up, search the chest and leave. If you have time left and you need to escape the scarabs, go across the spear trap and leave. That's a good tip that i used. Getting gold items depends on your level. If you're at 71+ you get a lot of gold items, because those rooms have them a lot. But i drop all non-gold items, always. And at 91 and 81, i got to the point where i didn't even keep gold seals. So yeah, depends on your level. Gl with 99 thieving :o

How much is Jagex in it for the money?
Dalcyte replied to nyyankees588's topic in General Discussion
Lol, there's actually a better reason why they're doing this. If you've payed attention to the forums for the past year or so, it's been chock full, jam-packed, stuffed to the brim with rants about "NO HIGH LEVEL UPDATESSS OMG JAGEX HATZ US!!!!11" They're (IMO) just trying to satisfy us... Btw, they have been quality updates though..it's not like they just have kinda lame journey but a good outcome...GWD is incredible from what i hear. To sum things up, since updates take minimum of a half a year about, jagex is just now combating all the rants that have been taking place, because once they see that people are getting unhappy with the current updates, they set to work on high level updates, but those can't be released for a while. So we're getting them right now. -
Useful: I can't decide between Slayer, HP and Agility...argh. Not Useful: I don't know. Fletching really don't do much except make money, so if you're eliminating the "making money" factor, i'd have to go with fletching, as no one uses the bows people make really, they're just used for magic xp. Otherwise, Hunter. P.S. Shades of Mort'ton: Possibly THE most profitable mini-game ever.

Membership Benefits. They did alot more than you think.
Dalcyte replied to The Observer's topic in General Discussion
It doesn't say that though... :-s Btw, why did you post 3 times when it could have been 2? Anyway, i can understand them doing this...what's wrong with marketing strategies? :-s
