  1. It's just luck really, you should be fine if doing 20 bosses in a row. Just make sure you don't run out of food/supplies when you actually do encounter the do no evil bosses.
  2. Anyone know the best spot to set up traps / best arrangement of traps? How many chins do you get per hour on average?
  3. You missed out on the time it takes to buy said items from said shops. Look at tinderboxes for instance. Or vials/feathers/runes - although these are limited in stock. Anyway, the price of Red chins are pretty insane right now. I wonder if the cash made hunting them would make then a better choice than Jadinkos .
  4. Some monsters do not have an "empty" drop. Glacors are the first things that come to mind - 1.8k kills logged without a single drop being "empty" (as in nothing but charms). So yes, I'd say that rdt drops CAN take the place of other drops you would have gotten. Whether the increase in rate of "unique" items justifies this or not though, is another question. I don't think there's enough data to say whether RoW is worth using.
  5. The BA horn is definitely worth it for Mining and Agility. Firemaking only if you have a really good team that does the waves quickly.
  6. If you're having trouble with the blood attacks, run from the flying form's attacks like you would with Luminescent Icefiend, don't bother trying to get attacks in while he's in that form.
  7. Well, that's one reason I don't like PKing. Elitist's view of the world: If someone is lower level than them, they're noob / kid. If they're a higher level, they need to get a life and/or are bots. That attitude is not just in PKing. Though PKing is the place where it's the most rampant.
  8. Instead of specifically trying to get JoT done in one go, you could just integrate it into activities you'd normally do anyway... therefore using 0 seconds except for withdrawing/depositing the aura and teleing to varrock to get the reward. For example, on a farm rune: Farming (duh) Magic (tele) WC (cut a tree while running btween patches, or cut a tree u grew) FM or Fletch the log (or both) Agility (trollheim if you don't have the livid farm spell, or going from Catherby fruit tree to Taverly tree with the shortcut) Att (hit something with a wep on controlled) Def ^ Str ^ HP ^ I also do RCing with Wicked hood together with Farm runs, so that's another skill. The only problem with this is that you might accidently remove Jack of Trades if you forget you have it active and click "deposit all worn items". It's happened to me before :(
  9. I don't like how all the new, good items degrade. Ganodermic in particular, takes far too much to charge. Same thing with Dominion gloves, the cost/usefulness ratio is a bit too high, though I'm not certain how long they last. I suggested that before, this reply might interest you:
  10. Wait, it actually works in pvp??
  11. Actually, if Dominion Factor = Dominioneering XP, I'd only be level 90. BUT THAT'S NOT THE POINT. This took wayyyy too long. <_< stuff Here's my Dom marker hiscores - #271 IN DOMINIONEERING I'm gonna eventally post a sample of how ****ing long it takes to get this achievement. The majority of the time is just watching the goddamn cutscenes (55 sec between fights... 10 second actual fight. Yeah...)
  12. Thought you had this ages ago. Nooby stats. JK, grats on 120.
  13. 10k doesn't seem to be nearly enough df for getting a bomb :( Wish I knew how df works in getting the rewards... <10k cannot give dragon bones, dag bones, dominion potions etc... It can give diminuitive bombs but never saw a massive/colossal
  14. I need to get and use a Colossal bomb, which is my last req for getting the T4 dominion marker. However, I still haven't gotten one after several hours in the tower. I tried some climb and end floors resetting after each boss, but that didn't go so well, so I tried getting a high streak on Endurance. I got to f64 before dying, and rewards chest had 4 diminuitive bombs and 3 massive, but still 0 ****ing colossal. Is there any other way to get it? It's so slow to do upwards of 60 endurance floors...
  15. It's possible to kill the Glacytes at maximum speed without Storm, but it takes quite a bit more APM, and you lose some consistency without the guaranteed minimum hit.
  16. I don't use chins anymore, but I feel this in Cannonball prices for slayer... :( And Steel titan pouch/scroll prices shot through the roof, even though I don't think they were made by bots...?
  17. Magic damage bonuses apparently only work for the first hit of a multi-target spell, so you'll have to switch targets to even out the damage. Just FYI. Wolpertingers are worth it, but dunno about Overloads. I never used to bring those because of needing to save inv space, but if you have infinite prayer from Akrisae's....
  18. Not sure if it's been changed, but the last time I checked, you can still teleport until the teleblock actually hits you, rather than being blocked as soon as the teleblocker casts the spell and gets the xp for it.
  19. Considering you're very melee-based, I would say Bandos. You don't need Turm, but get 88 summon for uni ASAP.
  20. Resizable mode is glitched right now. (Dammit, cuz resizable is my favourite) Try setting screen size to either "Fixed," or change "max screen size" under graphics options to 1024x768. Not the best solution to be honest, considering my screen is 1366x768 and that leaves a lot of dead space and a huge scroll-bar on the right of my screen which did not exist previously.
  21. If you can even access the challenge, that means you've beaten Nomad before. You could try the walk-under tactic or Woox's safespot with Dom swords (bring about 5 to be safe).
  22. If you care about getting charms, I highly reccomend ice barraging Rock Lobsters. Not the fastest XP there is, but I think the charms make it worth doing. I kept getting 130+cb people asking how I got a Yak at a combat level in the low 120s.
  23. Your argument is only valid if: 1. You do Blue dragon tasks. 2. You kill Blues in Kuradal's dungeon. Flawed logic here. Based on what you said in your post, it would be more correct to say, "If you do Blue dragons in Kura's dungeon, Bank the drops." It doesn't make Blues an "awesome task." In Kuradal's dungeon, Blue dragons are pretty slow XP, due to them having fairly low HP, can't cannon, and can't use titan. Furthermore, a better option for XP does exist: Taverly resource dungeon with cannon. The thing about 11m/h applies ONLY IF the only variable you are considering is whether to bank or not. Just because the difference between banking and not banking is 11m/h, that doesn't make Blue dragons a good task. In short, if you kill Blues in Kuradal's dungeon, bank the drops. If not, this thread does not apply to you at all.
  24. They only cost like 2k per cast now. I don't see your logic.
