  1. If you want an easier time regarding conserving prayer, swapping two prayer pots out for renewals helps quite a lot. And remember to sip brews, super restores, renewals + your best ranged/mage pot before you enter, depending on the method you use.
  2. Definitely do black demon tasks, they are great crimsons, effigies and slayer xp/hr. Cannon them in Taverly dungeon.
  3. The + key is allowed, a J mod confirmed on the forums at some point.
  4. The articles were pretty good, although for the review of the year I wouldn't have even mentioned Jiblix. A player moderator being de-modded is not a significant event. The author did put a fairly negative slant on things, but for the wrong reasons in my opinion. There have been many good updates this year, especially on the quest front. Quests such as Branches of Darkmeyer and Ritual of the Maharrajat received widespread acclaim and positive feedback, yet quests are only touched upon in the article. You also list the bot nuke as a positive point: at best it could have been categorized as neutral. The fact that it took so long is appalling.
  5. Well yeah, Elias would be rank 1/2 if he hadn't quit, but since he has...
  6. Elvis has taken rank 4 from Elias.
  7. Ring world, we actually don't care. This is a topic to discuss 200m all skills. Make a new thread if you want to discuss that.
  8. I would disagree Tigon, there's been far more relevant information being discussed between Makaveli and Jebrim, and regarding the slayer list, than has been on this thread for weeks. Jebrims post on micro efficient methods - whether or not you think it's a waste of time, it's still interesting to read. A bit of discussion regarding the subject is good. Wow. Over moderation much?
  9. Jake did get that big donation at the same time as Foot and Suomi, but as soon as he had enough cash for 200m prayer he bought the bones for it. He does need cash still for buyables. I've seen the techniques Jebrim mentioned utilized in kiting slayer creatures to pick up charms, but the guy who made the video started talking about it then skipped onto the next topic quicky. I remember at the Wildy course, when you come out of the tunnel, if two people come out at the same time, if you click next to the rope swing then click on the rope swing you will always go over the rope swing before someone who just clicks on the rope swing straight away.
  10. First priority for slayer is a rapier. Also, do you have enough cash to buy large quantities of cannonballs? Without a cannon, slayer will be extremely slow. My advice would be to do a mix of money making and dungeoneering until you have a rapier and enough cash to buy a decent amount of cannonballs. This method will mean you lose money slaying, but it'll be far faster slayer xp. Also, I'd probably make the cash for 95 prayer before starting slayer in your situation, as turmoil makes a big difference.
  11. Don't be silly. Lets see, we've had debates about efficiency and donations. Someone needs to have a go at Drumgun for his slayer xp and it'll be like old times. I guess we should discuss burning out at some point too.
  12. Efficiency is not uniquely defined as a word.
  13. Also it'll be good to have you back Paperbag.
  14. Different people have different skills they dislike. Runecrafting and Agility aren't an issue for me personally, but I hate training ranged any way other than cannoning slayer and also cannot stand hunter. My least favourite skill is firemaking, as there is almost nothing even vaguely useful you can do with it, and it is so click intensive. Whereas skills that take longer to train such as runecrafting and agility have significant, tangible benefits at higher levels. Obviously your motivation for training these skills to 200Mxp and beyond will be different than training to 99, but I bet most people's favourite skills don't change too much post 99.
  15. Simon number one to 200m all. Jokes aside, why is Dragonseance killing black demons? Whats the effigy rate like on those?
  16. Effigies mean top players don't have to train runecrafting, slayer or agility conventionally if they don't want to. In terms of going for 200m all, wasn't it more efficient to just camp for effigies for 200m agility anyway? So top players like Jdelacroix who have a large proportion of buyable xp, and can stand camping crawlers/ganodermics, can still max out those slower skills. Does anyone know if Jdelacroix has been slaying or camping crawlers for the past couple of months?
  17. Jake pretty much just needs cash I think. Pretty much what others have said though, Jdelacroix and Elvis will probably get it if they continue playing, and Drumgun could if he decided to make that his goal.
  18. For your herblore needs OP, I'd look into super attack potions and super restores. Super attacks are very cheap xp, although they only give 100xp per potion, which isn't much for herblore, that is still very good xp/hr. And super restores are a pretty good balance of gp/xp and xp/hr, once you can do them. If you want to get into the high 80/low 90s, you really want to make the untradeable potions, as you're going to want them anyway at some point so you might as well get levels for doing so. Super antifires need 85 herblore and are very good for gp/xp and decent xp/hr. I really don't recommend boosting to make potions in large quantities, it would be extremely tedious. I personally did super restores until I could do restore specials, then did them until I could do super antifires and then did them until my current herb level. Slayer isn't particularly great money, but its still a varied skill which I find enjoyable to train. Although if you don't have the cash to afford to cannon as many tasks as possible, I'd recommend making the money first, otherwise you'll spend several hundred more hours than is necessary slaying. Also, with the current prices of chins, cannoning slayer tasks probably saves you money in the long run.
  19. Even without bothering to collect charms, you could get decent prayer xp cannoning black demons, and there's a lot of them, so as long as you get a world to yourself you don't need to worry about spawn rates. Just grab some prayer renewals and potions and use protect from melee. Without 43 prayer, I don't really know where else would be good to go for a pure aside from rock crabs. Although the effigies from black demons could also come in handy for using the lamps on strength or w/e to get strength xp w/o hitpoints xp.
  20. Sy Accursed, I kind of get your point that as you level up you craft more higher level runes, e.g. fires instead of airs, which would mean you would get fewer of your banking runes back if you used airs to bank instead of fires. However, at higher levels you are also crafting more nature, death, law and blood runes, which really make the profit gained from lower level runes nearly insignificant. Quite simply, the runes you craft depend solely on your runecrafting level/ardy cape, so whether or not you get more banking runes back, its still cheaper to use minds to bank. If you used fires to bank, you'd save a little on the net amount of runes required to bank, but using those fires on banking is a waste of the fires you craft anyway. It would be far more economical to sell those crafted fires and use a greater net amount of airs/minds to bank with.
  21. Best pure rc xp is ZMI. The next best RC xp is ganodermic effigycrafting, but that gets you mage xp and 0 melee/less ranged xp. Which is why cannoning crawlers is still the best option for overall xp, as mage xp is obtainable in so many other ways without wasting time. And at the above poster, its cave crawlers not crawling hands lol.
  22. Sounds like a modified version of Djikstra's algorithm tbh.
  23. Thanks for clarifying, although I did get that, was just messing around with DGS.
  24. L. You're not telling me people at DGS suggest a dfs over a defender? I think I'm just gonna facepalm instead of trolling you because of the amount of derp you just came out with and not even looking at all the screenies. Ok I actually don't get what you're talking about. I did look at all the screenies, and it seems to me that CF swapped his CLS for a rapier and added a dfs to troll dgs/people who criticized his slaying method. Tell me what I'm missing as I really don't get it :/
