I think I'm playing the third floor, are other floors better? On this floor all the best nodes are split between two islands almost constantly.

Are there different versions of runespan? I think I'm playing the wrong one.

Blatantly untrue. Non-Runespan runecrafting is running back and forth doing the same action repeatedly. Runespan asks you to search around and cooperate with others to get the best xp. But not searching around and not cooperating with others is still the best rc exp in comparison to non-runespan training methods. Well if it bothers you that the game is more fun now, then you can go cry in a corner. :shame: If you consider playing xbox while afking Runecrafting as 'making the game more fun', I'll concede the point. It is your choice to be a boring afker you COULD chose to make your gaming experience more fun by remaining at the game being generally sociable with randomers, friends and clan mates. I am sociable with randomers, I get in quite a few arguments every day. But really, Runespan is less monotonous than traditional Runecrafting methods, I admit, but it's not what I would call fun.

Hopefully they keep that in mind :razz: It seems like pures will still be suited to killing players their own level, they'll just have new tricks for doing it. Honestly low defence is little more than a bit of extra prestige these days already. All the tradeoffs make you about equal to a built-to-pk main account.

Hopefully the nerf can wait 2 days, since I've just hit 98. Yeah, I of course don't want them to nerf it until I'm 99 :P.

Runecrafting is definitely the new cooking. I'm seeing little noobies with terrible stats having 85+ RC as their highest skill. I'm actually kinda hoping for a nerf now.

To be more like me? Would probably be more efficient to do rock Lobs and then train strength as opposed to camping waterfiends whilst training strength.

I think they should make Runespan require runes somehow, with hgher levels requiring higher runes. Take a lot of runes out of the economy and traditional Runecrafting will be more profitable. Also I remember selling my pure accounts all the time before recovering them (I was young and evil) in RSC, it was done right in varrock square and nothing ever happened. It definitely wasn't a secret, you just had to stand in V square for a while to find somebody selling an account.

That's not how inception worked.

^ This It's why I hate leaving the span, when I've got like 5k unused ess. Or remove the essence from your inventory and put it in a counter that activates when you enter Runespan and doesn't clear when you leave.

Did they update Essence? I don't seem to be collecting anymore from just siphoning.

Jagex wants to make money, they don't give a [bleep] what the players want. Why should they?
