  2. Haha, yeah, I guess I'm over reacting. I just really pay attention to audio in video games, and I'm not too fond of what I've heard in H4. Maybe I'm simply looking for as many ways to dislike the game - not sure why, though.
  3. ^I agree. Also, I mentioned it earlier, but I think they [bleep]ed up on the medal announcer's voice. The one from Halo 3 and Reach was perfect imo. The one I've heard in the H4 gameplay sounds awful.
  4. Another thing I don't like about what I see in the Halo 4 gameplay - actually, it's more about the sound. I know Master Chief and the Spartan's are like super soldiers in these super high-tech suits. But honestly, whenever you throw a grenade, it sounds like you're just a big robot. Same with the sound the battle rifle makes. I think it sounds pretty stupid. Doesn't sound like a gun at all, tbh. Everything just sounds too metallic.
  5. Just played the Halo 3 campaign all the way through for the first time. The ending was so fun, driving in the warthog. Reminded me very much of Halo 1's ending, which was also fun. I'm glad I stayed up late doing that.
  6. This is so [bleep]in cool, champion.
  7. So I've been thinking about how much my playing style has changed in BTB since I first started playing. In the beginning, I wanted a kick ass k/d, so I would contend for sniper and just camp and pick people off. I was lucky because the newer BTB maps were just coming out and I had made sure to memorize where the sniper was (and a lot of people hadn't figured it out yet). So, my k/d for BTB was pretty high. Now, I never contend for sniper. I only use the dmr. And I've got to say, it's much more fun. Dmr battles are much more fun than sitting back behind a tree peeking out to pick off the occasional afk player. I've got to say, my favorite games are on hemorrhage as blue, cause then I just man the red portal and pick off everyone who comes through it or through the caves or people who cross over the middle. Plus, the hill gives fantastic cover. And, I guess this is my favorite spot as red, too, because lots of people go up on that cliff. Anyways, I just felt like talking a bit of Halo: Reach. My k/d in BTB is still pretty high, but I'm enjoying the games much more. Heck, I may even hop into a warthog and get a few kills as the gunner (or maybe assists as the driver) for the fun of it before I get rocked by the opposing team's wraith.

These pillow mints that the cleaning people leave on my desk after they clean are heavenly.
  9. Honestly, from the brief gameplay I've seen online for the multiplayer, I'm not so sure I'm gonna like Halo 4 too much. I dunno what it is, but I liked the graphics in Reach. And there are too many funky alien-looking guns in Halo 4 (edit: I guess it's because there's so many forunner weapons, idk) Also, what the hell is up with the voice saying medals. The one in Reach is perfect; the one I've heard in the H4 gameplay sucks.
  10. How about some (+44). Baby, Come On.
  11. Goin back to some Saosin. Mmmmhmm.
  12. In my first serious relationship we talked about marriage a lot. Big mistake. :s
  13. Not a celebrity or model. And sorry for the inspirational quote on the picture. I couldn't find it without it. But honestly, this body type is    Probably too skinny for most of you. But oh well. I still think I should have stuck with cross country during high school.

@Ginger, Vezon, RPG, Randox: I honestly think my living conditions are taking away from my internship experience. I'm seriously feeling so depressed about it. I walk into my room and I just sit on the bed, looking around at how crappy of a place it is. I still haven't gotten my refrigerator, which is starting to become a problem. I don't even want to know what the shower is like. It's like, if I do stay, I'm going to spend every second of the time I'm not at work (or eating/sleeping) in the lobby because everywhere else I just get this disgusting feeling in my stomach. I'm gonna write out a draft of a letter I'm going to send to the lady in charge of my internship about it. My parents agree that I should write her. But I'm kinda scared about it because this is an internship for the Department of Energy (government), and if I just quit from it, I'll have to pay $1000 for a flight back (money I don't really have). The other intern who is with me, living in a different room, said he lived in that same place last summer when he came up for the internship from Boston. He doesn't seem distraught about it (at least not openly). So I have a feeling I'm gonna look like a [kitty] trying to get the lady to improve my living situation. But seriously, Randox, I read that whole article, and my room is much worse. I was confident I could survive being away from home if I was able to access the internet (from my room), maybe play video games, work out. But now that I literally can't do any of those things, I'm not sure I'll make it for ten weeks. Guess I'll get started on that letter.

RANT: So I had high hopes for my internship in South Dakota. They told me I was living in a hotel, and it looked really nice on the website. I figured it would have a small weight room, maybe even a pool, surely internet, perhaps even a TV with a VGA port for my xbox. I definitely wasn't concerned about there not being anything to do in this small town. If there wasn't, I could just mess around on the internet, on my xbox, and get in shape. I was optimistic even though I knew being in SD for 10 weeks on my own without a single friend or acquaintance nearby was very uncomfortable for me. I was straight up [bleep]ing shocked when I got here. Literally, I went into shock. I sat on my motel room bed and almost broke down. The motel is complete shit. It looks like one that would be the setting of a murder in the horror movie. I live next to a bunch of weirdos who probably do a ton of drugs (one of them tried to coerce me into petting his small ugly dog; he was drunk and smelled like shit). I can't get internet in my room because the wifi sucks, so I have to go down to the lobby of the motel to access it. I have two dresser drawers to put all my ten weeks worth of clothing in. I'll have most of my stuff still in my [bleep]ing suitcase the whole time. I was told that it was an efficiency room, and my mom said that meant it had a small kitchen with a stove, microwave, and a fridge. [bleep] that, all they did was throw a microwave in my room (I don't have a fridge but I'm supposed to, so the lady at the front desk said she'd figure that out tomorrow). Thank God I brought some extension cords and a surge protector, cause they only have like, two [bleep]ing outlets in the whole room. The motel doesn't have any sort of weight room or anything. All they have is a crappy bar which I can't even use cause I'm not 21 (not like I'd want to get drunk in such a shitty place). The town is pretty shitty. Just a bunch of bars. I have to drive quite a ways to get to Walmart (the only thing that calmed me down; it felt like I was at the Walmart back home; didn't last long). Bringing my xbox was totally pointless because 1) no internet access in my room and 2) TV doesn't have any VGA ports. Yeah, that room wouldn't be bad for a few days. But for ten [bleep]ing weeks?!? It's unbelievable. I still can't grasp it. It's unreal how shitty this is. I can't believe this is happening. :|
  17. There is currently a gnat stuck on the inside of my TV screen so it's crawling across the whole screen and I can't touch it at all.

So I got hooked up with an internship in South Dakota for the summer. I really need the money, so it's a big deal for me. Sucky thing is, my older brother is finally getting married in the middle of summer. So, I was thinking that the flights aren't going to be bad at all, meaning I could fly home for his wedding. He did ask me to be the best man way back before I had even applied for the internship. I guess I should explain the internship. I got the same one I got last summer. The program involves a corporation that has a site in my hometown. I worked in my hometown last summer, which was a good deal (the actual internship was pretty shitty, but I got paid for just putting on a nice face). This year, I applied for the same one, thinking I would get the internship at the building in my hometown. But for some reason, when I heard back from the people, the operations office in my hometown hadn't put money down for an internship program. So I was given one in South Dakota. I guess I'm saying this just so that it's known that I couldn't do anything about it (except deny the internship, which would have been utterly stupid). So, I'm the best man, I have to fly home for his wedding and pay for that flight home and back myself. No big deal, shouldn't be too bad. I'm fine with dropping $400 or so dollars to see my brother get married (well, plus $160 for the tux)... $900+ dollars for the trip, it turns out... That's $1000 coming out of my pocket. I'm [bleep]in poor... My mom talked about it with my older brother, and he was very understanding (he couldn't help pay any of it cause he's paying for the whole wedding since his wife's parents refuse to pay for it since she's already been married). I'm just really pissed off right now because being financially insecure sucks dick. I can't even explain how happy I was that he asked me to be the best man at his wedding. So [bleep]in shitty.
  19. Nah, it's not only because of the hug. The story is a long one, tbh. Anyway, you guys are making sense. I gotta just quit thinking so much about everything. We'll see how this turns out.

Yup, or plop it in some hot water. Heat makes the air particles move faster inside the ball -> more pressure on the inner wall -> no more dents!
  21. Kung Fu Panda 2. I don't care if its a cartoon, I loved the first, and I loved the second. 5/5 (not a bad movie at all for being a sequel).

Went to a funeral today. When other people cry and get emotional, I get all teary and emotional, even though I may not have known the person nearly as well as they did.
  23. edit: Yeah, was stupid. Too much over-thinking Thanks for being rational for me, Saq.
  24. Listening to various songs by The National. Heard this newer one done for Game of Thrones. I haven't see any of the episodes for this series (or whatever it is) but my friends said I would like it cause it's similar to LOTR. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sn2l2_v6Ur8 I liked it, for the most part.

Think I had allergies, which is why my eyes were getting so irritated. So my older sister went and got me some new contacts, I got this different solution suggested by the doctor, and I got this anti-allergy eye drops called Allaway (or something like that). And so far, it's been working. Happy about that.
