I feel ya, Giordano. Working for the government, passwords are hell. >At least 15 characters long. >Contain at least one lower case letter, one upper case letter, one special character, one number. >Cannot start with a number or special character. etc etc etc And even then, I've made a password that works on one computer enclave, but it doesn't on a different one (the two enclaves having the same password rules, too).

Confession: I'm accessing these forums from work. And I'm working for the government. And it's really kinda freaking me out cause I dunno if I'll get caught or not. I did it all last summer when I first started posting, but their internet security was weak. But where I am now this place is all about security and computers. The other intern says he goes to espn all the time and does other stuff but he isn't cautious or afraid of anything. I don't know why I've decided it's okay to do it now, when there are only 2 weeks left in the internship. Meh. I guess that explains why I posted so much last summer. Cause I was bored as hell at work.

Playing videogames with friends. That's always fun. I smile when me and my friend both have our microphones on and make people in the game lobby laugh with our inappropriate incestual jokes. Videogames are really great when you are in a lobby with people who crack jokes and laugh and just play the game for fun.

I'm using IMAP. I can use either, since I enabled both POP3 and IMAP on my school email yesterday. For ports I'm using the two that gmail says to use. When looking this whole mess up on my school website, they basically say "Google runs the email now, so you'll have to do it the way they do it <insert link to google guide>. :\ If worse comes to worse, I guess I can always go to the IT center when I move back to school and ask them to show me how to do it. And today, I realized that I haven't really laughed hard for over two months. I'm away from home doing an internship, so I'm away from all my friends and family. I miss it, heh. Two more weeks and I'm outta here, though. I can't wait to get back home.

Why does it take so long for these forums to load for me? >.> Maybe it's because I'm using the Tip.it theme.

The school doesn't run the email. It's run by google now (as in it looks exactly like gmail, just a diff domain), but it's domain isn't '.gmail.com' which i think is the problem. You're supposed to be able to sync any gmail account with Outlook as long as you have certain settings enabled on your gmail account (which I have on my school email). In other news, I've now gone a week without biting/tearing at my nails. It's so freakin hard for me, but now that my nails/the tissue around my nails isn't always bleeding/red/etc, I'm more motivated to keep it that way. Plus, once they compeltely heal, I won't have to worry about other people looking at my hands (which is a very big thing for me when i have nasty nails).

Use Thunderbird instead of Outlook. Much better program. I'll download that and try it out. Thanks. EDIT: Sadly, my school email address didn't sync. Said I was using the wrong password, which is impossible because I know exactly what my school email password is. Meh, oh well. It looks a lot simpler than Outlook, which I like.

Just spent an hour and a half figuring out how to get my gmail accounts in sync with Outlook 2010. I have a school email address and two gmail accounts. But a few years back my school email moved over to gmail (Google now runs it), so I guess technically i have three gmail accounts. But the school email address won't sync with Outlook because it's domain name isn't gmail even though it is a Google mail account. Anyway, now I have that account and one of my gmail accounts forwarding messages to my other gmail account, which is synced with Outlook. sheesh. I dunno if that was worth it at all. :\

Yeah, at the moment, I'm in a different state for an internship and so don't have access to any weights. Just a treadmill. Guess I'll give a bit of an update. So far, I've gone down to around 185 from 188, which I'm proud of (after running today I was 183). Super stoked cause I feel like it's working. But I had to stop my run early today because the left side of my foot started stinging really bad, like, right on the bone. And I tried toughing it out for 10 more minutes but it never went away and got worse. I hope I didn't get some lame stress fracture or something. It's not like I'm not used to this type of activity. I ran cross country in high school so I'm used to longer distances. And the shoes are relatively new (a year old, expensive Nike Lunar glides). Meh, I guess I won't run tomorrow and give it a rest.

You would, RPG. :P Drop dead gorgeous. I refuse to watch any of her previous movies because they're crude for the most part and I'd rather she be innocent and above all that. I'm a dreamer, yah yah yah...

I've got the 'push' down pat. I think it'd be real good for me to learn that 'pull' part in the near future, heh.

Well, I've read that 'overtraining' (marathon cardio) gets rid of fat throughout the body but you only lose muscle mass in your legs since they are the parts being 'overtrained'. Again, this is just what I read. I would really like to lose fat on my body (whatever there is) and slim down my legs. I'm not exactly sure what you're asking. I've biked a lot in the past, which apparently (so i've read) builds muscle mass in the thighs. I also avoided bench and arm workouts while i was in high school because i've got something funky going on with my shoulders which makes benching pretty scary (lots of popping in my shoulders, sometimes painful). So i worked my legs quite a bit (especially the calves). This was for football. I'm not sure that it isn't fat, but i have a hard time believing it is. I've always been active, doing sports, running, biking, etc. And when i flex my thighs and calves they're pretty defined. My upper body is lean to the point where i'm convinced the majority of my weight is coming from my thighs and calves. Well, for the past few months, I've been eating the following: yogurt, pb&j sandwiches (lunch at work; i don't load it up with peanut butter), turkey and cheese sandwiches (no condiments), grapes, apples, oranges, carrots, eggs, string cheese, and i have some granola bars that i snack on from time to time. I occasionally eat some beef/vegetable canned soup or some ramen just because i bought it earlier this summer and I'm not just gonna throw it away. I'll admit, during the school year i wasn't really really good with eating well. But its been a while and i've been extremely active. Also, I weighed somewhere around 180 at the end of this school year (August). I've been eating much healthier since then. I don't see how i gained weight. I'm pretty unhappy with it. It seems like whatever fat may have been on my legs at the end of the school year would be gone by now or have greatly been burned since i've been more active this summer than any previous summer after high school. I could be wrong. But wouldn't marathon cardio attack both fat and muscle in my legs? Cause overall, i'd like to slim down my legs.

Chasing the Light - Mat Kearney. Not really one for this type of feel-good music. But I think it's good to listen to it every once in a while as a pick-me-up (when pop-punk has been over-listened to, which is hard to do, but still).

I've been working on getting through the Lord of the Rings Trilogy this summer. I've just started the third one and have three weeks to finish it, which is more than enough time. I read for 30 minutes during lunch at work every day and then a little more on the weekends. So I'm not rushing to get through it. I've been enjoying it, which isn't a surprise at all.

I'm 6'1", weighing in at 188 pounds. And it's all in my legs. I have a pretty small torso and have no chest mass and not much in my arms either. But my legs are like freakin balloons, haha. And I've always been really self-conscious about them. So i've been trying to find a way to get rid of some muscle mass (and fat, I guess) in my legs. Frankly, I look pretty odd with a 'skinny' torso and a bigger lower body. During the first part of the summer, I biked a shit ton. It felt better on my knees and I enjoyed it more. I would bike upwards to 15 miles a day around my town every day. Then, I learned that biking is probably the worst thing to do for your legs if you are wanting to lose muscle mass on them (or at least that's what a few articles said). Turns out biking gives you pretty big legs, which makes sense, since I've loved biking and have always done it since I was a kid (hence, that explains my big legs). So, I've gotten into 'marathon cardio'. For the past six weeks (before I knew about the biking thing), I was running for 30 minutes every day on the treadmill, doing hills, etc. It was a rather short but intense workout. Now, I'm working on extending my time and simply running on an shallow incline (2.5 according to the treadmill). Last week I did 45 minutes every day since I didn't want to jump from 30 minutes to an hour. But now, this week I think I'm gonna try an hour up until Wednesday and then for the second half of the week go for an hour and fifteen minutes. I guess I'm hoping to slowly progress up to two hours. And hopefully by the time my internship ends (three weeks from now), I'll have lost a desireable amount of muscle mass in my legs, which means (yeah, it sounds [bleep]ing girly, sue me) I'll be more comfortable in my skinny jeans. At the moment, they hug the crap out of my calves which is irritating. Plus, on the whole, I'll feel better about myself, which is what it's all about.

You know you've seen a good movie when it makes you just want to sit on you bed for hours staring at the ground thinking about it. It's a good feeling and a bad feeling at the same time. In the end, that feeling is gonna fade and I'll go back to living life like I usually do. But it's always nice to let my mind wander about, wondering what it would be like to be a character in the movie. It happened to me when I rewatched all the Star Wars during the winter. It happened as a kid when I watched the movie Peter Pan. It happened when I watched Lord of the Rings. Surprisingly, it happened when I watched the Amazing Spiderman. Sorry for posting three separate posts on three separate topics concerning it. I guess I just had to. Gonna go back to sitting on my bed now.

This post is explained by my quick post in the 'What movies did you last see' thread. Extremely good-looking dude right here. Wish I looked like him, tbh. Just sayin. Movie was [bleep]in great, btw.

Just came back from The Amazing Spiderman. Solid 10/10. I hated the original Spiderman movie. Toby didn't cut it for me, and I wasn't a huge fan a Kirsten Dunst. I liked how they made so many things different in this new movie. Honestly, I liked it so much that I'm going to buy it when it comes out on DVD. Not usually a fan of superhero movies, but this one got me. I liked it more than the Avengers, which is a recent movie I also watched a liked immensely. And, I might as well say it: Andrew Garfield did a [bleep]ing outstanding job. Loved him in the Social Network, loved him in this. I admit, kinda a guy crush. Anyway, enough of that.
