I have this problem, too. When I wake up and my dad tells me we're gonna spend the afternoon visiting some of my uncles. Especially when I dedicated today to packing (and hanging out with the girl I like one last time before I leave). Some notice would have been nice. Up until now, I thought just him and my mom were going. :|

The Avengers. I'm not a big superhero fan, or a fan of Marvel in general, but I thought this movie was super cool. It started off kind of slow, but the ending was freakin unbelievable. Even though I remember the Incredible Hulk movie to be really lame, Hulk had to be my favorite in this movie simply because he just smashed everything, haha. 4/5

When I wake up in the morning to several texts from my mom telling me all the chores I have to do that day (when my day is already packed with visiting people before I go to South Dakota). Then, my younger sister gets home and tells me mom did the same to her. And then I figure out that my little brother (17 years old) is out with friends and hasn't been given any chores to do. That kid... <_<

Haha, right on, Skeptic. Also, I guess it's habit, but definitely an annoying habit. When you over-interpret or wishfully interpret something like a blog post (or status, if you're on facebook). It's so hard not to think that the person is talking about you when they post a picture that has "You're my favorite" written across it (and you are the only one she actually knows irl who looks at the blog). Then I remind myself that she probably just liked the picture.

Sun Kil Moon's album April. Specifically Harper Road. Has a winter feel to it for me. Also, just got into this band The Wonder Years. Another great pop punk band to add to my library. :thumbup:

Something that annoys me when I'm at home: you have to plan meet-ups. At college, it was basically (via text): Her: I'm bored. Me: Me too. Wanna hang? Her: Yaaa! Me: Ok, I'll walk over. >takes 2 minutes to walk over to her dorm< >hang out, have fun, great afternoon< At home, there a whole other level of complication because I have to make sure I have a car, that my parents won't need the car, that it's okay with her parents if I come over, that we have something planned, etc. Less spontaneous. :\ It sucks.

Ate a strawberry, a few grapes, three hard-boiled eggs, and a peanut butter and banana sandwich for lunch. Tasty. :3

I've been running around all day today, which hasn't been very fun. Attempted to connect this printer to my dad's secretary's computer. Found out I was missing a cord, ordered it via Amazon. Figured I would go to my oldest sister's house to see if she had it lying around. She did. Rode my bike back to my dad's office with the cord, cancelled the order on Amazon, hooked up the printer. Messed with its settings so it would do what my dad wanted it to do. Got home and wanted to lift some weights. Mom comes home with groceries, needs to go help my dad at his office, so I'm left alone with all the groceries to put away. Did that. Now I have to wait for my younger brother to come home from school (shoulda been home half an hour ago) so I can unload our van of my older sister's stuff who was away at college. So there's gonna be a shit ton of stuff packed into the van which I have to unload into her room. Gotta go to Men's Wearhouse later today before it closes so I can get fitted for my tux for my older brother's wedding which is at the end of June. Really hectic day. And I was counting on relaxing today. :\

Yeah, I think it's mostly because most cats and dogs are domesticated as members of a human being's family. So it makes sense that eating a being that is considered part of your family is frowned upon. So there's a certain amount of disdain when it comes to eating cats and dogs. Yet, aside from this case, I believe that there is no reason to exclude cats and dogs from human consumption (except maybe the fact that there exist other animals which provide much more sustenance than a cat/dog). Peter Singer's argument against animal brutality definitely sits well with me; the practical implication of this argument - becoming vegetarian - doesn't, though.

The other day I played wiffle ball with some friends. And it got pretty dark and we were by the river... I got a bunch of mosquito bites, which really itch and make my leg look like it has some sort of disease. :\

Been playin some Halo Reach recently. What is this BTB Heavies shit? It's everything I don't like about BTB (more vehicles, more power weapons).
