  1. 91,488 people currently online but I can't log on either. I guess it's not down, but not very much up either.
  2. Knock at hatch > Do tutorial > song unlocks > job done. That only unlocked 1 song out of 7 for me?
  3. Congratulations ^^ I want that staff :^_^: Free staff plz?
  4. Ty all etc. If I bothered to mention everyone who's helped me on my journey, I'd forget someone and that someone would be sad. I need qbd kill for comp cape, doing it once I bother to. Cant be bothered to get trimmed, I dont like grining or castlewars or grinding castlewars.
  5. Ranging isn't much more interesting, I don't think.

    DG Binds.

About bosses: I almost always mage necrolord, rammernaut, dreadnaut, hope devourer. Maging works on unragered harlakk and ballak too - shines on harlakk, ballak only when his bar is high. No actual research on my behalf, but gets the bosses done. Unsure about gravecreeper, I somehow forget to try to mage him even if I have fire staff made.
  7. Congrats on getting hood back :) Now let's analyse some of the recent stuff... I giggled at the reaction of the community after that full helm bind :) http://i.imgur.com/CQ6CW.png http://img221.imageshack.us/img221/306/survprod.png Naive got berserker with ok team, whereas you got... sharpshooter in 4csb team, if I remember peoples' binds right? What do these pictures tell me: Naive must have actually been fighting in gd's - you could've been anywhere idling for most of the floor clearing done gd's from salve eels and just hexed, say, 1 mage. Buying picture of Ian getting berserker and survivor with hood bind in sub-20 floor ^^
  8. Since he's weak to stab and rather weak to magic you can consider binding air staff or fractite rapier as third bind.
  9. Why is it underrated? Because it underperforms primal battleaxe in 9 cases out of 10. Bind both... owait, you have a limited amout of binds. I realise rapiers do not suck. Neither does a shadow silk hood, yet you won't see me binding one either. I do actually understand the thought behind this, but generally, rapiers just are usually outperformed by battleaxes and 2h swords. Inside dungeoneering, this magically changes. There's no magic in giving monsters some actual type-dependent defence. Beserker rings, prayers, pots, gaunts/b neck enhance Rapier's damage better than slower weapons. True. Rapier is also the best weapon for rushing. True, as long as you're doing c1rushes with someone who's lvl 3 or rather close to that. Cosmics are also the best ammo bind for solo c1rushing (and laws for teamc1s), but I wouldn't really suggest them to anyone over surgebox or hexhunter bow ammo. Plus, it doesn't work well with the berserker ring, since it only has one aggressive attack style (Which is uncommon for monster weaknesses), while battleaxes and 2h swords have two (Which are extremely common weaknesses). Fairly odd to call stab uncommon weakness and crush and slash extremely common, when it all derives from the fact you mostly crush and slash and therefore are used to using them. Plenty of things would be stabbed, should a stabbing weapon be overall best average dps. Having a stabber in team would be cool, if teams would do gd's together ...but most of us are prepared for solo pathing - you're going to kill everything that you go against, and that's where battleaxes and 2handers overdo rapiers. I believe Grimy Bunyip has a spreadsheet for this.
  10. Protocol? You decide. Buyers? I know people who care enough to deal with customers. I prove them I'm the very best they can get for selling floors with them. Possibly arrange some floors myself, if the customers want to add me. I do consider standing in worlds a waste of time. I believe the people I deal with either have an active topic on official forums or waste their times standing in worlds shouting. World? I hate worlds, but I guess there is some. I do still consider standing in worlds a waste of time. Profit/hour? If you only take 1 leech and share with 3 other noobs and don't charge too much, the profit isn't excellent, especially if you waste your time spamming in worlds. If you succeed at keeping and managing multiple customers at a time, it goes greatly up, reaching ~ 10m/h occasionally. I do sell floors not only for money, but also for fun and just getting the dg floors done. Do I need a team of people to help? I do not consider having 4 leeches as an option - sounds difficult to keep the leeches happy if you're the only one working. Neither do I accept 'randoms' as filler members - they might ragequit, they might not do what is asked, essentially, they can cause chaos and therefore be worse than actual leeches. Many high level dungeoneers join s/l floors as extra members just for fun, and if the team sucks, they decide to skill and make fun of the floor. In the other words, practice with 1 customer and have friends with you who you know are good. Been doing some 2 suicider and 3 leech floors, but I'd say you both have to be good for that. 2 leeches at a time is the option I favour most. Other things... if you or your teammembers aren't maxed (or close to), prepare to waste the leeches' time and clear rooms for them to open. Always keep the customers (and yourself) happy, you're getting paid. Negotiate the terms with both customer(s) and your friends before the floor starts. Once you become good, join #keyers if you wish. I believe their current requirements are screenshots of 3 3s2l floors hosted sub 14, as well as passing their trials. Oh... once a rs player was telling us he'd pay after floor. The host did not agree with him (and rightfully so). So I was on bad mood, after 5 mins of arguing or so out of moment's spur I gave the kid 3m and told him to give it to the host or gtfo. He gtfoed, I lost money, but saved 20 mins, as well as could make myself and my team smile. In the other words... always require payment beforehands. No matter what.
  11. Indeed. Always remember they're just runescape players you're going against, likely not genious material by average. I think I lost 3 games in total while getting my deflector.
  12. Being 'loyal' in the past does not accumulate any extra money _anymore_. So why reward for it? Business is business. Loyal players (members) have a history of being repeat customers, it makes sense to insure that the core base of your customers is happy and doesn't feel screwed over (too badly, people are already pretty angry). Loyal players have a history of being repeat customers, therefore the chances of them staying such is high, no matter what the company does.

  14. I'd pay too. But but... More purchasable options for high-end dungeoneers would further increase the gap between low level dungeoneers and high level ones. It's already likely the high end ones have superior knowledge and speed, now let's give them far superior binds too. How many low lvl dungeoneers would buy extra ammo bind slot instead of saving for that crapier? In the other words, I'd rather give the ability for extra bind in quests, or indeed, these sagas. Unsure if adding abilities would make people any more willing to dungeon with newbies (not trying to say that it's not already an elitist skill). 10bo let's go. (Incase Jagex reads this post and thinks only half of the tif people hate the sof, insert a comment raging about jagex pulling sof everywhere here. I don't personally care much about NOT getting the quest spins afterwards, but the thing just cheapens the game. I'm sure most about it is said already, so Im not gonna say anything new... wait... am I ever?)
  15. irc.tip.it #runescape (I seriously wonder why this information isnt included in first post, shame on you spling :) )
  16. Congratulations :) good luck on next.
  17. t10 rings, best motivators to keep dging.
  18. This. Sure, the recent changes to seal of passage and wicked hood helped with lunars, but ancients still were such a pain, if you forgot to charge your sceptre.
  19. Congratulations :) Why not finally try and do a bit of each at the same time? ^^
