Mining update: Broke through the 30k ores ;D! I expect to eventually finish with 100k or so of these ores when I reach 120 mining =3!

624 planks is very low, more likely is tables and even then it seems quite low. From personal experience I can do perfect tables an hour with protean planks. That is doing 10 tables each 36 seconds. This equates to 18,000 planks used per hour. *Note this is assuming the 12 secs trip from the butler is correct. I can do 4 tables in those 12 seconds, but due to butler only bringing 20 planks, I can make 3 tables + another 1 every 3rd trip. This equates to using those 18,000 planks an hour. Scratch this, there is a flaw in above >.>.... This is in no way 2m+ exp/h... 1m might be pushing it according to several other sources I have.

Do you simply drop corrupted ore? There are of course faster methods, but unless the ore is discarded, increasing the speed at which it is smelted is beneficial. The degree to which it is beneficial is what I'm looking for. This is what I was considering, but I would like to see it actually tested. I'll have to wait for more dust to come in, to do it my self or I might just extrapolate based on 12.5% increase from a normal dragon pick if needed. To everyone else, are these assumptions or tested? We know that crystal picks are faster at mining. The question is if that speed can offset smelting 25% less ore. All that is irrelevant of course if you drop the ore. Like I said before, the extra mining experience gained is offset to the time it takes to get the addition exp need to gain versus time saved smelting the ore by the imcando pickaxe. Seeing the exp rates on the smithing skill is far higher. Simply said, it is better to use Crystal pickaxe regardless of keeping the ore or not and then smith yourself using other methods. This has been tested and confirmed by my fellow EE'ers as well as members from the clan Maxed.

For true efficiency the Crystal Pickaxe is far better than the Imcando Pickaxe. Simply the increase of mining exp versus the maximum potential of smithing expees is far beneficial than the potential smithing exp gain as an offset of the loss of mining expees. Basically said, the smithing XP should be obtained through other methods and favour the extra mining experience gained.

I just bought from GE, there is a 25k limit per 4 hours, so it is not a hard thing to do to buy bulk from GE. It is impossible to burn 25k logs in those 4 hours anyway.

It is slightly different from the OSRS Gwd. However I cannot imagine it being far off. If I look at the Adventure Data log gathering it is on average about 1/500 from the bosses. But since there has been a few drops added for example, the Subjugation set at K'ril. Probably only makes the rate per specific item rarer, but for any piece it should still be what Artemis linked to, 1/128 from the bosses.
