Well looking on that thumblr, I can't find any evidence that the Glad Tidings Outfit is a copy of other artists.

Well Ironic Redux' outfit was a more blatant copy. To be honest I've not seen anything that matches the Glad Tidings Outfit to a close 1:1 unlike Ironic Redux' outfit. Glad Tidings outfit might be a combination of factors, but it is also a more or less generic draft on how female clothing is drawn. The outfit has some elements of clear Christmassy elements (the head decoration/colors) as feminine elements (Skirt/panty). That thumblr only shows that the artist did take some elements for other drawings. That doesn't mean she did the same for the Glad Tidings Outfit and is a false assumption in my opinion.

Not on Construction or Herblore -> Warbands = free exp in those 2 (and 4 others) skills. Summoning is a fast skill and later on very very cheap in comparison to some other skills. The major drawback of the skill is the vast preparation required. Not really a reason to use festive on. Please if you give advice make sure your advice is sound. For those of us that abhor warbands I would disagree about the first two, however I totally agree about summoning. It's close to 2 mil exp/hr once you have the charms which come naturally through training any combat and especially slayer. As you get the the higher levels (where most of your exp is gained anyway). Using crimsons and blues you can get under 6 gp/exp which is dirt cheap compared to most of the buyables these days. Okay than this: Construction is at a good rate about 750k+ exp/h as is Herblore. These skills are way too fast to be done with something as a festive aura. Things can be considered in 2 ways: Time or Money. Ideally you want to train something that maximize at around 200k/h due this being both a 15 min saving as maximizing the exp you get from Aura.

Frost dragons are compareable to Blue dragons in terms of difficulty. There is literally no reason to do blues, if you can access frosts.
