Correct. The sequence of events that have occured did so in a way that banning mains had very little impact on recovery. Unfortunately for Jagex, their hands were tied and they were very limited in what they could do.

The fact that this supposed "rare" can only be obtained from SoF, where they push people to purchase more luck with real life money disgusts me.

Post in the "I've been hacked!" thread on the Account help sub-forum on the Runescape forum. That will give Jagex the chance to remove anything the hacker has placed on the account like extra info etc. They never have given back items either, because that will cause absolute mayhem on the economy, so they stay away from that. Sorry :(

I have to say yes, Spent over 7 years on their game and have no intention of quitting anytime soon.

I just hope the beta servers would be using our own account stats rather than an arbitrary level they set.

I'm thinking the bow would be great for nex.....Haven't seen it in action yet though.

The video just made me more eager to try this new update out :P It's amazing how far this game has come since 2005.

I agree with Ace. Regarding SoF, I don't really care what other people do and whether they lose out because they use real life cash to level up in the game. I am happy with my completion cape and knowing that it was due to hard work and determination. I think the problem comes from the fact that people want to be recognized for their achievements, and want to stand out from the crowd. SoF has really opened my eyes into how others feel if / when Jagex releases micro-transactions into the game. I have never, ever been looking forward to an update more than the combat system rework. There were many updates in the past where Jagex had injected large amounts of pre-release hype (Bot Nuke, return of free trade) but this update is overshadowing those. I think it's because of the recent videos they have released showing some of the new combat system in action. Can't wait :P

Hi guys! Just joined this forum after a friend told me about it, and liked what I saw through a short period of Lurking :P I'm 21, from London and have just restarted playing Runescape full time today as my exams have finished. I have plans for my goals ingame and will try to make a post about it soon. Anyway, my clan is doing a dungeoneering competition so I need to get back in there! Hope to see some of you ingame!
