  1. Minor update for tonight, my obsession with unique exp amounts has brought up another series... 4,444,444.
  2. The time to update this has come and gone, but it's always better to be late than never, eh? In my disappearance, I have been busy with school, but it is almost over! The next two weeks make up the bulk of the work, then it's smooth sailing (except for the slight[ly large] blip that is Finals). I have managed to do some runecrafting recently though! I have gotten up to the benchmark of 4.4 million experience, made my first x9 airs, and achieved rank 1200! I will do my best to keep this blog updated more and respond more in the future :ohnoes:
  3. :-w 1900 before 90 lol :XD: This thread started with Swamp going for 1700 before 90. Swamp, don't leave
  4. What is this word "buy" you speak of? I have no idea what you're talking about. Welcome back!
  5. Okay everyone, time for an update on SaidinWoT. First I'd like to thank everyone who posted here when I went missing yet again, it's greatly appreciated School is still in control of my life, but that is changing! I finished one class last week, intend to finish one more this week, and a number of my other classes are winding down as the end of the school year approaches. Hopefully this will mean more time for SaidinWoT to be SaidinWoT IN RuneScape, and thereby increase the blagginess of this blag!
  6. SaidinWoT returns to bring yet another quest guide!
  7. The items base is a HUGE project with a comparatively small staff. Most of the data is accurate, but when a new feature (Weight has only been recently added) is stuck in there, it takes a while to gather data for all 4000+ items in the game. I know how much work the Items DB Crew do, and I'm personally quite amazed. As for 'only' shortening the use by a small amount of time, that adds up quickly in terms of energy usage. 0kg or lower is the way to go - you are guaranteed the lowest energy/minute usage in the game, as it is the lowest [natural] weight in the game.
  8. Sadly, our items database is not always completely correct. I imagine the Items DB crew has not yet gotten the weights for dragonhide. However, I can assure you, it does have weight. My own pictures prove that - where I had -7kg with full ghostly, simply taking my red dragonhide body out of the bank and putting it on put me up to 0kg. Here is a picture of me with body and chaps for red dragonhide, with the same inventory as the two earlier pictures: I would agree that a home teleport tablet is the way to go... if you have a house. I am one of those weird people who refuses to get a house for now, and as such, a home teleport tablet would take me absolutely nowhere. I am not aware that the mithril pickaxe weighs any more or less than the other pickaxes, but I will look into that.
  9. I got tired of writing names :o Even more people thanked now!
  10. A few things I would like to add/point out: 1. Speed - I can average 2k nature runes per hour [600-660k an hour] at level 87 [4 pouches, no doubling]. I generally get closer to 1.7k an hour because of distractions [510k-561k an hour], but I know others who can go faster [uular has managed 2.3k natures an hour before!]. As such, the claim of 1.1m per hour is perfectly plausible at 91+ 2. As stated before me - super energies! These are exceptionally worthwhile, and cheap [especially if you make your own, as I do, making them free  ]. The lack of them may be what's responsible for your max of 285k per hour. 3. Path - There is another path which I have never seen mentioned in a Runecrafting guide. I've drawn it in green below on your map: It is nearly as quick as the blue line - if not more so - it is almost a direct line to the Zamorak mage, and there is a relatively good chance of being attacked by Skeletons on the way up. 4. Outfit - This is a matter of personal preference, but here is my outfit for Runecrafting: or alternatively, to add some defence: Both weights are the outfit, 4 pouches, one-click teleport [elf crystal] and essence. I generally go for the full ghost, because of my odd quirkiness, but both work perfectly well. This means you run out of energy significantly slower [at any weight 0kg and below, the energy decrease and increase is the same; negative weight simply allows you to carry more before what you are carrying effects your energy], while still having good protection. 5. Drop and save - I am living proof that this works; I have lost pouches once out of the last 30+ times I was tbed before I could reach the mage [what great luck I have!], and this was because the pker was still up there, waiting to kill me yet again! They key is to drop pouches immediately. This opens up 4 inventory spots, which you should quickly fill with your most valuable tradeable armour, then drop. Have your spawn set to Lumbridge, quickly run into the Culinomancer's Chest, grab a glory and a few monkfish [or the relative food of your choice], teleport to Edgeville and run straight up to where you died. Your pouches will be perfectly in tact, and, if you were fast enough [since I have been many times, I assure you it IS possible], what you dropped *and* any untradeable items you may have been using at the time [when I use ghostly robes, my entire outfit is untradeable except the glory, dueling ring, cape, boots, shield and pickaxe - the glory being the only part hard to replace]. 6. Recommended one-click teleport: ELF CRYSTAL! You cannot have multiple ectophials in your bank, and replacing them is hard enough. However, if you die after teleporting [poisoned and low health], it is nearly impossible to even get a friend there in time to rescue your belongings. As for lyre, though you can stock many in your bank, it is a frequently used area where anyone could easily come across your items before you. You can have multiple elf crystals AND Lleyta is an area which is generally quite empty. That wraps up all my suggestions for now. Pretty good guide.
  11. Bumping this up from its home in page... 6?!? How'd it get there?? Once again, school is to blame for my absence :x But never fear! A well placed quest has brought me back into being! Since my last update of this here blog, I have made it to the 4 mil experience mark.. shooting for 4.1 mil tonight! Since a thorough guide is already in existence in the PMG forum, this blog will make room to house TWO guides (Cold War is also hidden somewhere in here). I have added a section to my main post for the pure purpose of stroking my ego - it shows all of my lovely quest guides on the forums (I certainly hope all of you can find the ones which are nicely posted on the main site!) So, with all the ceremony of a catching-up post out of the way... BUMP
  12. School has kept me away from RS for over a week now, and it's going to continue to... I'm about ready to just default the win to Morden :(
  13. You can't get through to us? Frankly, it seems we can't get through to you :| We have not been rude in responding to you, we have been attempting to show why these changes would not work for the forum. I will quickly re-address all of your points: Yes, doubling the mod team would be wonderful. However, the selection process is tough and stringent - we want people who can appropriately represent Tip.It. It is historical fact that polls are abused. People being able to delete their own posts would be able to cover up anything they had done, like removing all evidence from a crime scene, as was stated by Albosky. Just because you don't like certain boards doesn't mean others don't find them useful. And finally, post count is utterly meaningless, as already stated a few times. There are a number of users who rarely post unless they feel there is a very good reason to - that doesn't mean they aren't active in reading the conversation. Likewise, there are numerous people with high post counts who got there through immature posting, or simply would not be good as staff members. I'm sorry you think we were being rude, we've just gotten tired of repeating the same points over and over with you seemingly ignoring them.
  14. It's amazing how sarcasm gets absolutely nothing done. I am not a moderator, I'm a crewbie, but that doesn't leave me with nothing to say on this note. I have been actively visiting this forum since my join date (with some breaks due to real life). However, I rarely make posts unless I feel there is a need or I would particularly like to respond to a topic. My post count is low - by your standards, I am not an active person on this forum, nor well-known. Moderators have to be mature enough to deal with situations effectively and properly. Their jobs are not merely "locking a topic". Do you expect there to be mods on duty 24/7, and always looking for more mod-related things to do? Everyone has other things to deal with, it's impossible to deal with every single issue that arises. Doubling the number of mods would help, but it's no solution if they can't do their job properly. So one topic sat in the wrong forum for a few hours. This is no crisis. The problem with polls has already been completely explained... they are overused and abused. This is historical fact, not something we're just making up. As has been stated numerous times in this topic - using the Report Abuse button helps moderators do their jobs.
  15. JoeDaStudd was referring to the program he used to crop your pictures - there is no need to download anything, he was simply pointing out his personal preference in image editing. I've taken the opportunity to appropriately crop the white space out of your images. You did cut it out correctly, but you also needed to resize the canvas to fit only around the image, or there would be tons of leftover white space.
  16. It is bad practice to flame the people responding to you (likewise, people responding, it is bad practice to flame the guide - constructive criticism works far better). This guide is excellent in showing how to make a detailed, clean, appealing guide. As for cropping, open the image in MicroSoft Paint (or any other image editing software), select just the part of the picture you actually want, cut that out and paste it in a new document, then resize it all so there's nothing but the actual picture. Consider this an official warning - do not flame. This goes for both the guide author and those who respond. My personal suggestions - Use proper grammar, capitalization, and spelling - this may seem like nothing, but it makes the guide appear much better. This includes not using CAPS LOCK text - appropriate usage of italics, underlining, or bold text would emphasize the point quite well while making it still appear clean. Learn to crop the pictures - I gave a basic outline of how to do it, but if you need more than that I'm sure there are many online guides for how to do it. Pictures with no extra stuff around them not only look cleaner, but make it easier for people to see exactly what you want them to and nothing else.
  17. I've run from castle wars to Port Phasmatys directly about 5 times in my RS career, 3 in races I set up with friends. It does take a while, but when there's a competitive edge you don't really notice it at all. That said, I use teles daily, as I'm an avid RuneCrafter. Thinking of walking to the Nature altar from Shilo makes me cringe :x Wonderful map, very very few places cannot be accessed within 5 minutes of anywhere, and you've definitely shown that :)
  18. Well, 87 should be tomorrow (only 2 days late if I manage it...), so if I go quickly I can get my goal of 89 by the end of the month in! Only 3 days of real RCing and I already have 25k nats back... lots more to do! Thanks deiophobus and Nihilist, I won't be giving up any time soon  Go Gizm0nub! Mirror, I used to have 28, but I died :x
  19. Nothing to add today... tbers were out tonight and stopped me from getting anywhere close to the experience I wanted. Tomorrow will be a lot of nolifing.
  20. Certain persistent people have told me that I must update this blag, so here it is. A lot has happened since I last came here - over 400k extra experience has mysteriously tacked itself on to my RuneCrafting skill. I've obliterated my records of nats, it was far too annoying to try to keep that up, as well as the current state of my natures, since I no longer have many. I'm now racing Mordendravid for 91, so hopefully that will help motivate me to pick up the pace! Over the past 3 days, I sold all my nats (I had run out of ess), and bought up 260k ess - when school isn't keeping me away, SaidinWoT will be one busy RCer :)
  21. Morden has a few days to catch up - the combination of buying ess and school work has taken my runecrafting time down to zero. However, I have a good 135k ess back in my bank, so once this school work's out of the way...
  22. Incredibly little progress today (a whole 477 experience!) today was completely dedicated to selling my nats to buy ess (up to 16k now... 240k to go...)
  23. Day 1: SaidinWoT - 3.7 Million XP (100k gain) Mordendravid - 2.89 Million XP (90k gain - I assume he was at exactly 2.8 at the beginning, I didn't check  )
  24. Because no one's done it so far... Go Mordendravid! \ First obstacle happens today - have to buy more ess
