Steel pic axe, mined all the way to 41 with it and used the things that I smithed from the ores to buy a shiny new rune one.

Tons of Bronze/Iron arrows back when range autoers were plentiful. Now all I get everytime i pk one is Addy full, str ammy, and tons of bones and hides.

Edge where a lot of tifers hang out, good place to alch aswell.

Yes defence does own high attack and strength if you trying to last the other player out. But the pure has superior hitting and koing skills, designed for killing the other player before they can outlast them. I do agree that pures seem to become less useful as they become higher levels, but I make tons of money pking, and I'm fighting pures that are 10x better then my in pking skills, probably better then most people on tif... I'm sure most of the rune pures that you have fought have killed far more people then you, just because you can outlast them due to your superiour defence, don't instantly brand them as useless and lacking the skill to kill people with higher defence.
