  1. Side Of The Road - Babyshambles This album (Shotter's Nation) is better than I thought it was going to be.
  2. Just bring in a pan and a little stove and fry up some bacon in her class. Offer her some though, don't want to be rude now.
  3. The White Stripes - Icky Thump Radiohead - In Rainbows Kings of Leon - Because of the Times Seasick Steve - Dog House Music Queens of the Stone Age - Era Vulgaris Tough calls, some of the last three might change, first two i'm certain about though.
  4. Stop Breaking Down - The White Stripes
  5. Whilst I largely believe in reform wherever possible, justice must always be served. I mostly agree with your sentiments, I think if anyone ever harmed a member of my family or a loved one i'd bring down the full force of the law on them, as well as perhaps getting a bit of my own revenge. But, when you start thinking about getting into pure revenge scenarios, is that really justice? Will that really make you feel better? And when you throw a child molester to the dogs what makes you any better than him? Trial by jury, prisons, these are all sensible ideas. Criminals might have high re-offending rates, but that's maybe becuase there isn't enough emphasis on reform rather than the prisons not being tough enough.
  6. I'd be willing to give up voting rights for a year to pay university fees (when I go). iPod, probably not. Depends what politics is worth to you though.
  7. If you watch something like The Heist you can see how he can do it without actors, he's a very good showman and a very good cognitive therapist. He doesn't use actors or anything, since he sometimes explains how he does it so there's no point.
  8. LOL! EPIC FAIL. I see the problem in communication here, you are an idiot. Lol, nicely put Indy. Since I have to add something to this post... Mass is actually m0/sqrt(1+1/(v^2/c^2)) where v is your relative speed, c is the speed of light in vacuum and m0 is your mass while rested. Pft, relativistic effects are negligible on earth. :P
  9. Since it's untradeable, i can't really see much discussion here. So, locked.
  10. Apologies for the language, but this is from one of my favourite films of all time, Good Will Hunting. This scene follows one where Will (Matt Damon) (a brilliant but troubled genius) rips his psychologist's (Robin Williams) life apart by analysing a painting.
  11. Die Hard 4.0 Who said fourth time round ruins the trilogy? One of the best films I've seen this year, so what if the plot was fairly unbelievable and the stunts were a bit crazy, it was fantastic action movie fun, the way Hollywood should make 'em. 300 My friends had really raved about this, don't know if it was that brilliant, but still very good. The set piece battles were superb and Gerard Butler was fantastic as King Leodonis.
  12. Why are Conservatives automatically labeled as anti-environmentalist? Bush is pushing for reduction of fossil fuels by 2050. Why? So we reduce pollution and save money. I'm starting to get sick of your gross overgeneralization of the Conservatives. I don't really think that conservatives/republicans are anti-environmentalist, it's just that it's hard for any party that fiscally believes in a more free market system to try and provide sufficient profit incentives to make companies more environmental. It's an economic problem, rarely one of lack of care for the environment. You might find this interesting Global warming, economically, is a problem of externalities, but it's certainly not beyond the free market to handle, it just requires the price to be adjusted accordingly.
  13. I really can't tell if this is serious or not. If it isn't, real funny guy. If it is, you must be kidding. Spam, locked.
  14. You'd think Hamilton might have had an outside chance if he'd won the title, but even then he'd be pushing it. To say he had such an impact globally in the way, say, Tiger Woods had back in 1997, would be a massive over-statement. I suppose, didn't know if there were any other sportsmen out there (maybe in America or something) who might have had a big impact. Actually, my vote would go to Younis Mahmoud, the captain of the Iraqi National Football team for scoring the goal that won them the Asian cup that united that war torn country for a few precious moments.
  15. God bless you Bubsa for making me follow the links after that clip for a good hour and re-discovering my love of the Fresh Price.
  16. If they don't matter, don't worry too much and just enjoy your ability to mess up and it not matter. I can't. :P Depends on the exam, but practice questions are king in many subjects.
  17. Didn't Hitler win it in 1939? I can't really see any that I'd call person of the year, why not sportsmen/women?
  18. Vaka [Live] - Sigur Ros Off the Heim album, I think I prefer the original of this song (simply because it's one of my favourite ever songs), but some of the other acoustic stuff is amazing.
  19. When I was younger, and used to crash in front of the TV when I got home from school instead of hitting the books, The Simpsons was on at 6pm on BBC2, followed by the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. They went through various stages of double bills of the Fresh Prince and stuff, so i've probably seen all the episodes one way or another. I did find it hilarious at the time, don't know how i'd feel about it now rewatching it.
  20. I had Hvarf-Heim by Sigur Ros on pre-order for my birthday, it arrived today along with everything else I had on order (books and stuff) so this morning was nice. Listening to Heim now, which gets better reviews, it's really something else.
  21. Locked at author's request.
  22. The sticky isn't optional  Locked.
  23. Man, are cheerleaders really like that?
  24. Just get out there, as long as your sweat isn't instantly freezing on your face you can run in it. Besides, I quite like running in the cold, because I know that the faster I run the warmer I get, you never get too hot. If you really can't stand the cold though, by a skipping rope and do 10 mins everyday. They're awesome for cardio.
  25. The Midnight Special - Creedence Clearwater Revival
