Aah sucks, they're a pretty awesome band. At least they're still together though...

Travis Barker - Awsome Drummer
He's really not as amazing as everyone makes out, all he's playing in that vid is 4/4 beats, pretty much anyone whos been drumming for a month or two can do that. He's just another overrated celeb...try checking out Mike Portnoy if you want to see an awesome drummer.

Reel Big Fish
Yup, it's quite a broad genre, reel big fish generally fit under 'third wave ska punk' 8-) They're awesome, seen them live, shame they've gone so downhill though. Their last album was terrible. :(

Caffiene: How bad is it?
Since my teenage years I have always had some trouble getting up in the mornings, as teenagers do. Over the summer I began working part time on some evenings and weekends, and now that i'm back at college, it's hard to keep up with a 15 hour day which is mostly occuiped by one form of work or another. And so, i've started taking Pro Plus to help keep myself awake. It's working fine, they're 50mg caffeine tablets, I take 2 when I feel I need them. I'm wondering if anyone knows of any bad side effects or anything I should stray away from? I also don't wanna become dependant on caffeine, lol... thx!

My piano improv **NEW VIDEO NOW ADDED**
Thats cool mate, I too played piano from a young age and am recently getting back into it. you've got a lot of talent there :) What you're doing on the myspace is commonly called bootlegging, even though it's not actually anything to do with bootlegging. it's done in clubs a lot, I mean, listen to speed garage ;P Your stuffs quite cool. I know it's not exactely "your" stuff but you're doing a good job of what you do...you'd be surprised how many people just slap an acapella over and don't even bother getting it in tune. If you need any help producing, give me a message or pm me your msn or something, i've been doing it for about 6 years now and will be happy to help :) Sounds good mate! keep it up :)

Wine or Beer?
I'm really more of a cider man, but by the pint, not by the 2 quid for a bottle in a park or anything. It's got a bad rep, but it's really quite fantastic. Pear Cider is absolutely amazing! Aside from that it's Sambuca, Carlsberg/Fosters, Southern Comfort or anything someone moans at me till I try if we're drinking like usual. In foriegn bars and the suchlike though, I don't touch the usual stuff, it's all about being adventurous 8-)

Modern Horror - is it crap?
Let's ask a blunt question for once to the tip.it crew - do you think modern horror is, on the whole, crap? It's occured to me in recent years that to be honest, it is. All I find in new horror is unbelievable amounts of tension being built up to something quite commonplace in horror movies. You leave the cinema, but what's to be scared of after? Nothing. The first exception, I found, was Silent Hill - a game remake yes, but great for the fact that noone dies until near the end, and when scary stuff is happening, it's all happening right in front of your face. The tension is built when it needs to be, not excessively (for example, the corridor scene near the end.) Then there's 28 days later, a great cult movie and scary as hell because it leaves you feeling like gee...what if it did happen? Do you find that the newer horror movies tend to try too hard or am I the only one?

Remakes
Oh man, seconded. Most people said to me if you watch the american version first you think that's better, and if you watch the japanese version first you'll think that's better. Well sod me, the were wrong - the american versions were, once again, just trying way too hard to be frightening. Laame.

Playing Halo 2 on my computer, ROMS, Emus, and .iso files
PowerISO is better IMO but yeah, both do the job. You'll have to mount the iso file to a virtual drive and then it will run just like a cd. And yeah, you are legally allowed to download a ROM as long as you own the original game, as long as it's not redistributed at all and solely a backup for personal use, and if you sell the game, you have to destroy the backup. *strokes SNES roms*

Some iPod questions (80gig classic)
Yeah, i'm pretty sure what's happened is when your friend has ripped the CD, it's got the data of the CD off CDDB (CD Database) but it's got the wrong data - thus, the track start and end points are everywhere. Same thing happened to me before, try finding another copy of the CD or re-ripping it and choosing a different CDDB code (though im not sure how you do that.) It usually happens because of special editions, bonus tracks, demo versions, etc. as opposed to the normal, fully commercial version of the CD. It gets the data for the CD but not for the bonus/rearranged tracks so it all goes spare.
- Can you name this song?

Some iPod questions (80gig classic)
Your problem with CD's may be because of the CDDB codes that are used when you rip CD's. Is it happening with just that one CD, or more than one? Try updating your firmwire and see if that works too.
