  1. Yeah, I totally agree with this. What I think happens with these kind of topics is, people get mixed up between believing in a god and following a religion, which are very much two different things... I believe there is a "grand creator" - i've always thought that the universe was infinite in the way that, right now looking at your computer screen, you're looking at millions and millions of galaxies - contained in there are lifeforms, planets, everything - it's just so small, relatively talking, that their million years happens in a fraction of a second to us. I believe that we're just as small to someone else, and just as huge to those that are right in front of us - and we could easily have been created by the spark from someone bashing two rocks together. If you get me. Not someone who shaped people to be people, trees to be trees etc, I believe that's all down to adaptation, and the primordial soup thing - that everything living started off as some form of single cell, and over huge periods of time has become what it's become and evolved into itself. What I don't believe is heaven and hell, almighty power, divine blessings, holy punshiment etc. I just can't see how that would possibly exist... The only "god" I can believe to be real is Buddah, and I don't believe he's a god at all, just a guy who learned to live his life the way he wanted to and had a vision that helped him see what the world was really like and how he could change it. Seems a lot more realistic to me.
  2. If I put peanut butter on myself, it licks it off.
  3. Hahah so true, you've gotta be pretty dense to keep all that info on something you can leave lying around. *cough* HM Revenue and Customs *cough*
  4. I'll tell you what, let's pretend Of Mice And Men was never written too. That uses the N-word. Still, i'm sure Nas' album is fine to be released. Society. Yay.
  5. ello everyone. i am in the midst of setting up an online radio station and i've designed this website - just looking for some crits really, after all a good looking site is gonna mean more success for us so its better to find out what you like and what you dont etc first!
  6. I thought one the qualities you require for being a teacher is that you cant be a complete and utter numpty. Still, there's a great way to discourage racial hate. Not.
  7. To that above wii vs ps3 commercial; no wonder I don't own either. One's an overweight loudmouthed bint and the other's a blatant slag with no personal quality or intelligence whatsoever.

    s'all about BBMAK - Back Here 8-)
  9. Yeah, been thinking about Animal Crossing, looks good. Not gonna bother with Nintendogs though, her sister has it and i think she's said she doesnt want it in the past. Thing is aswell to be honest I want games I can play with her or when she's done with them  Cheers for your recommendations so far, gonna have a proper look in the shops tomorrow, thanks so far (:
  10. Ah man this takes me back. I still can't get over how cynical and dark some of their shows were though, Rocko's Modern Life for one... :s
  11. I've gotta get two for the missus - what decent games are there on DS for girls? I'm not on about barbie horse caring games and that, something she'll actually appreciate and play properly. She's into fun games, but something that won't let her lose interest after an hour of playing and it be doomed to the closet forever. Only 2 games she has atm are Brain Training and Pokemon Diamond. Was thinking Mario Party for one?
  12. oh man, oh man. hahah.
  13. Tony Hawks Underground - 221M point combo ;) RS - finding 8 masks on the halloween drop
  14. I'm not sure because I don't think i've had mine, but it'd probably be something like; Nice lie in, breakfast in bed bought to me. Get up, discover i've got 100 quid and it has to be used by today or something. Get in mates car, pick up a few crates of beer and loads of food, meat and a disposable bbq for me and friends. Relax in a field round the back of my house with good music, good company, good food and drink. Later on make a fire and relax by the fire, the camp out under the stars 8-)
  15. I'd actually prefer a long engagement with a honeymoon than anything. Marriage is overrated imo, and way too cashed in upon. You might think it takes a huge church and a ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã5000 white dress, stupidly huge cake and all the champagne strawberries you can eat to make a real life commitment, but if you're really gonna stay together, you don't need that. I think i'd get her a ring for sure, but marriage isnt that important to me.
  16. Give me Warriors Of The Eternal Sun!
  17. I'm not too fussed, just a couple of sweet gifts and a nice christmas. I spent ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã250 last year and really, what's the point? Give a little, take a little, don't worry about it. Drink, eat, be merry - that's the important bit :)
  18. Let me put it this way. Last year my girlfriend bought me family guy seasons, chocolate fingers, and all sorts of small gifts - what's the best thing she gave me that year? The card, because she told me how happy she is to be spending christmas with me and hopes every year of her life is going to be as good as this one was. Simply put, if you really, really want to give him a great christmas present, find a way to tell him through a gift. and buy him a little something material like that book too to keep him occupied whilst you're doing all your girly things on boxing day  Im sure you can think of something you two have mentioned, i've no doubt he's dropping hints all over the place. Surprise him!
  19. Ooh, bad boy. How politically incorrect.
  20. Ludovico Einaudi and Craig Armstrong are two of my favourite new-classical composers :)

I think your best bet would to be to go to an equipment seller (not another paintball company - they won't want competition so they could steer you the wrong way) and ask them what sort of stuff they can sell you to get started and for any information. They'll do it, because if they give you the advice you need and you ever need any more equipment, you'll come to them for it. Business, you see. Also, try doing some group offers when you open up (IE 10% off if you bring so many people, something like that.) That'll bring 'em running ;)
  22. Except when Liverpool lose to Everton. Booyahh!
  23. I'm currently playing through Dungeons And Dragons: Warriors Of The Eternal Sun on Mega Drive ;) Don't really play many new games. All this new console stuff doesn't make much sense to me, id much rather pay 20 quid for a mega drive with 5 games and have hours of entertainment! Graphics don't really mean much anymore...
  24. Sorry to be unpatriotic but i'm really not bothered that England are out. At the time, I was tucking into a huge taco meal at Chiqito's and didnt actually find out until this morning. Football's a woman's sport anyway. Maybe it'll stop loads of drunken pillocks causing trouble around town too about the time of euro 2008.
  25. Basically i've had my computer a few months and I decided against getting a floppy drive cause let's face it, they're obsolete arn't they? So there isn't actually one in my computer and it's replaced by a card reader (DEFG drives show up seperately on My Computer.) However, my floppy drive (A) still shows up, and if I click it by accident, the program I clicked on it with (winamp, sending files over msn etc) will generally crash or struggle immensely. Is there any way I can stop this happening?
