ive been laying rs for awhile now and i never got addicted to it, i dreamed about occasionally. First time was when i found out my old pastor played RS. That was pretty funny. I made Bob back in 2004 since my main was hacked. Sad part is my old main occasionally gets on. But i dont mind anymore since i past him in level. :-w

i invested in one awhile back. I picture them like the stock market pretty much. Prices changing and what not. They will always be there and with players leaving/banned the price rises. So in my view there good.....mostly cus i like money.

What i speculate happened, as it happened with the last mass banning is that they banned the accounts and all form that ip address. so right now they are training to cut yews again. They will be back, but first they must train on lower trees. So there gone for now, \

Im a veteran WoW player myself, started in closed beta and played to burning crusades.Also, Ive quit RS several times to go back to WoW. But the problem is that i always come back here(not that its real a problem :lol: ). WoW is mostly PvP based and ya its fun but i got tired of it after i hit 70 on a warrior, warlock, and a priest. Its all really the same. Im not sure what grasp RS has on me but its not letting go of me and i dont mind. :thumbsup: (ps to hellbellz: I teh heart the beatles stuff \ )

I used to play WoW.....alot. From beta up, but i always seemed to come back to RS. WoW is geared towards PvP and i just like cutting trees and occasionly training combat. Guildwars is gear oriented. Idk i think its cuz it what i grew up on and it doesnt require a graphics card that costs more then my car. (also sorry if i make no sense its 3 in the morn here)

Ive been playing rs for quite awhile and on several acounts, taking breaks from it to play guild wars, first then i moved to wow. But i still come back here. It would be an ok change but i like the amount of hardware req rs takes. i can run almost every program i have and play rs too. Also as ive done work for 3d games for friends, i can say the amount of work it would takes is tremendous. (sorry if my post is out of wack i just got off a 21 hours shift at work )

I buy from them because (i believe someones already said it) "Time is money" the thing is i like money and money likes em so if i can get a good deal from a macro, I'm gonna take it.

its hard to tell i agree. As i have a pure skiller who is lvl 3 and sometimes ill sit at the bank and buy runes.

I think WoW is only a competitor for those people who love to PvP. I used to play wow alot, i left rs for it for awhile. Thing is when you hit 60 PvP is all you can really do. You can trely on skills to support you until you get them to a high enough lvl. On rs if you dont want to fight you can fish or mine or....ypu get the point. I would write more but im busy restarting on rs lol

Sorry for the long quote people. Heres my view on it. I have played WoW for bout half a year and have 3 lvl 60's. It doesnt hold me like rs does. Ive played rs since classic and ive come back after trying tons of other games. To the story part, RS does have an indepth story. Not as indepth as some of wows but at least rs hasnt been trying to fix a village for 2 years. I hold rs and WoW just about equal, id go on but i must cook christmas dinner for my family. I might update this and make it more indepth when i get back.

i have burnt lobbies, got bout 34k burnt lobbies been collecting ever since i started back in classic, if i rolled anew acount i transfered them......I wonder if jagex would get mad at me for trading burnt lobs?? :ohnoes:

I kinda like the idea above me. I think they should have it where your tied to one server and the server maximum is higher.....kinda like WoW servers *equips anti-fire shield* Flame away
