Changing Ourselves
These past few years of highschool, I've told myself that I somehow wanted to change myself, so that I could make more friends, maybe even get a steady relationship going with a girl. So, I tried many different things, but none of them seemed to work, because all I was doing was trying to change my outside image, my interests, and that wasn't going to work. I finally figured out, that all I needed was more confidence in myself and what I do, how I look. While I'm still working on it, my life has improved dramatically since I came to that realization. When you have confidence, and aren't afraid to be yourself around strangers, you'll find that it doesn't matter what you do or how you act, more people will begin to see the good side of you. As for the people that just seem to dislike you, no matter what...who cares? They're probably not people you'd enjoy hanging around with anyways. Just respect them, that's really all you can do.

Mauranius on Guitar & singing
I think your accent complimented Let It Be really well. Sometimes people with accents sing it and it just sounds awkward, but yours sounded very natural. Keep working on that guitar, sounds good!

Duke Nukem Never? *Gameplay Footage*
Goddamnit I sure hope so. Duke 3D was one of the first games I played as a kid, around the time I was 7. I wanted to die with Duke (or at least play DNF before I died). I've been looking forward to this game for so long, it just can't end like this. And now, after I've seen the footage, it hurts even more inside. I just hope that one of these conspiracy theories are correct, or we've just lost what could've been one of the greatest games in history. George Broussard can't be stupid/foolish enough to let the company go under like this, or at least, I would hope he wasn't.

Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds
Tarantino said he wanted it to be a WW2 movie in the style of an old western i think tats why it looks like a parody. Anyway can't wait to see this, been waiting for a new Tarantino movie since Kill Bill which i thought was a bit lame. Dunno whats up with Mike Myers being in it though. Yea, which character does he play? I didn't see him in the trailer. I also haven't seen Tarantino yet, but I'd be willing to be that he'll be in there somewhere.

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
"Hey my brother's girlfriend found some pictures of him and his ex, and she burned them! What do you think about it?" Ride her reaction and fluff a little while. Then back in with: "Hey, I wanna show you something." Went to take a seat. Then I did the cube routine Papa used on Paris Hilton. The girl said her cube was small, so I had to improvise. I said that meant she didn't have to be the center of the room for people to notice her. She said it wasn't see-through. She said it was brown, and the ladder was laying on the ground far away. I was pretty mad. But guess I improvised good enough. Once you do something like that, you have her attention. I had to leave then, so I told her we should continue this another time. POW. If nothing else, this book will build your confidence. Sometimes I want to tell people not to read it all the way through though - the end is kinda depressing. Nice, thanks. It sucks that she was so much older though, sorry to hear that. And joe, it'll definitely change your views on interactions and other type things.

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
May I ask which method? :D After I read your post a while back about the book I went out and bought it, so far it's definitely worth it. Very interesting read if nothing else.

Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds
While I'd agree that Kill Bill's no Pulp Fiction or Reservoir Dogs, I'd also say that they're all very different in style and story, and therefore it's not really fair to compare any two of his movies with each other. I personally love both of them, and from the preview of IB, I really can't tell if I'll like it or not. I really liked Pulp Fiction/Kill Bill/Reservoir Dogs for the seemingly perfect balance of action and story, and this one looks like it may be leaning more towards the action aspect. Who knows though? I'm sure I'll like it, just maybe not as much as the others. Also, Death Proof is really great. I'd give it a look.

Progressive Rock
I gave Anglagard a listen, and I really like it. Very reminiscent of Yes. The melodies are great, seem like they're really talented musicians. Can you download their MP3's from anywhere?

Progressive Rock
It just depends on your own personal observations I guess, but I thought the exact opposite of Moonchild. To me it's like a little picture story playing in my head along with the music, so maybe that's what kind of "fills it in" for me. If I'm going to listen to King Crimson though, I'll sit/lay down and listen to this whole album. It's quite an experience, each time it seems like there's something new to it. I'd say that progressive is my favorite genre of rock, but lately I've been trying not to label the music I listen to so much as just listen to bands that I like. I'm a huge fan of Yes, Tales and Close to the Edge are a couple of albums I listen to on a daily basis, at least one song off of each probably. Lately I've fallen in love with Pink Floyd's Meddle. Fearless is my new favorite song of theirs, seems like such a powerful song. And Echoes, of course. I like quite a few of the others you've mentioned, like Jethro Tull, ELP, Moody Blues, Supertramp...and some others that weren't in there. I don't know if anyone's heard of Klaatu or Crack the Sky, but they're some really great bands that I'd consider "prog". I think Azvareth mentioned Wishbone Ash, Argus is just an amazing album any way you look at it...I'm not sure if that'd be put into the progressive category. But yea, it's all what I mainly listen to.

Marijuana?
Why? Look at cigarettes. cigarettes are filled with chemicals to make them taste better, and to make them more addicting than they already are. Laura could be saying they'd lace the marijuana to make It minorly addictive. Or she could be saying they'd do something to make it less powerful, so you'd have to buy more. That's what I assumed, which I would reply with, they sell pure tobacco. You can buy it in almost any store that sells tobacco products. So, manufacturers would sell pure marijuana. Thye will just also sell marijuana with additives. so basically, pre-rolled joints with additives in them, in comparison to pure marijuana which would require more effort? If using the same quality marijuana for both, putting in additives requires more effort. I was speaking in the view of the consumer. Yes, but customers that buy tobacco usually haven't ever used pure tobacco (just assuming, I don't have any charts or anything), but marijuana consumers wouldn't (sorry, originally said "would") most likely be willing to buy the pure marijuana just so that they don't get the additives. I would go so far as to call cigarette smokers lazy, but I sure wouldn't buy joints with all the additives in them, and if I had to roll each joint I wanted just to get clean MJ, I wouldn't be disappointed at all. In fact, I see rolling as part of the overall experience, something that's needed to enjoy the joint. Just my 2 cents.

Help with CPU power connectors
I'm happy to say that I got it working, guys. Thanks so much for your help.

Help with CPU power connectors
Thanks for telling me that, I hadn't realized that they connected together. So, now I guess I have an 8 pin. But, when I try to boot up, nothing displays on the monitor. My motherboard has a little LED thing at the bottom that can display POST codes, and it keeps going from "00" to "E8" to "01" to "b2". Then it just repeats the cycle over and over again. Any idea what's up?

Help with CPU power connectors
Oh ok, thanks alot for the help. Also, which CPU do you use?

Help with CPU power connectors
I've just about finished my first build, and everything went well until i got to CPU power. My mobo has an 8-pin power connector, and I only have two 4 pins. My question is whether or not It'll be sufficient to have two 4 pins plugged in at the same time instead of one 8-pin. And if not, are there any quick fixes, like a converter for an 8-pin, so that I wouldn't have to buy a new power supply?

Metal Gear Solid Philanthropy
The third trailer they have in their videos section is surprisingly good, after seeing the other two. Looks like they've done a good job keeping it close to the feel of the game (at least in this part). That is, until they get to their voices. Being italian made, I guess you can't expect any great english voice acting, but for what it is, it actually looks pretty good.

Games -> Movies?
Ooops. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0419706/ I'd say it's best that movies and games stay separate.

Great PS2 or PC Games?
Hmm, I've been meaning to try the Personas and Digital Devil Sagas. Can you say the differences between the Personas and Nocturne? (And Digital Devil Sagas if you've played them) (How far did you get in Nocturne anyway? I need to beat the Hell Biker and leveling is a [bleep].) Hmm, I forgot to add in some PC games. I reccomend Age of Empires II and III for the PC. II is definately the first choice to get. I didn't get very far in it, to be honest. Not far enough to be able to explain big differences or anything. The best thing about the Persona games, in my opinion, are the stories. But pretty much everything about them is great. Building relationships is fun, because you have so many different decisions to make when interacting with other people, and then that directly effects different aspects of fighting. A couple of the best RPG's i've played in a while.

Great PS2 or PC Games?
Junctioning is one of the greatest things about the game, I can't say that I like it better than VII's materia system, but it's alot of fun once you get used to it. You can stay in one area for an hour at the beginning of the game, set one of your GF's on the Str-J ability, learn it and junction all the magic you've drawn from enemies into strength and beat many of the games early bosses easily. It's definitely refreshing after playing games where all you do is grind levels. It's different, and it's fun. i thought 8 was way too complicated, whats with the junctioning and all that, once u get used to it the combat in 12 is actually really simple. from VII-XII, X-2 is the worst imo, VIII is ok, never played IX. but the rest VII, X and XII are some of the best rpgs ull ever play  Junctioning is a simple as changing weapons. The hardest part is stocking magic, but thats easy anyway, just don't use any magic (except White, maybe Green, and some Time) throughout the game, and thats simple as long as you level. X-2 is actually a decent game, and does tie up the part of X after the credits. Its not that I find XII's combat system complex, its just trying too hard to be different from Kingdom Hearts (which was actually pretty much button-mashing). If I want a challenging game on the PS3, I'll pick up Shin Megami Tensei: Lucifer's Call. Press Turns are one of the hardest systems to get to grips with, and you have to almost constantly be aware of your party's and opponent's weaknesses, as well as their strengths. Unlike typical RPGs where abusing the weakness just does more damage, you actually get more Press Turns for abusing them, lose them for missing (unlike just missing 1 turn of damage, you miss 2), as well as losing them for hitting them with something they resist some damage of, void, or in the worst case, absorb. I disagree on XII being one of the best RPGs you'll play, and really, VII is praised more than it should be, but its still a good game. I'd have to agree with pretty much everything you've said, except I played Persona 3, then I tried Nocturne and I just found it hard to play for some reason. I haven't finished it, but I guess I expected it to be more like P3. But now I have Persona 4 and I'm very happy with that. : For your PS2, I'd go with: Kingdom Hearts 1, 2 Final Fantasy VII(if you can get it, or borrow from a friend), VIII, IX and X. I loved every minute of each of these games, but to be honest I couldn't stand XII. The characters, the story, the gameplay, nothing about it appealed to me. Monster Hunter Katamari Damacy, and We Love Katamari Shadow of Destiny Dark Cloud PC: I don't really have too many that aren't M. Red Alert 3 if you like RTS. Can't think of too many.

If you knew me...
You'd know that when interacting with others, I let on a whole lot less than I actually know, to give them a false sense of security. I'm also extremely insecure.

What games have you beaten 100%?
Sephiroth, Ice Titan, Kurt Ziza, and Phantom beaten? Ugh, Phantom. Takes waaaaay too long to beat him compared to the three others, can't be bothered to do it. The only game that I can remember actually saying "100%" and getting everything is FFX-2, did that to see the secret-secret ending. Good stuff.

What are you listening to right now!?
Pink Floyd - Fearless

If you play Counter Strike: Source, you'll appreciate this.
Wow, nice. And they were legit, not planned? If so that's pretty awesome.

Most amount of time you've ever put into a video game?
1246 hours on Counter-Strike: Source. Almost 200 on WoW, and I'm sure at least 100 on each Final Fantasy VII/VIII/IX/X.

The Mars Volta + Sparta = At-the-drive-in
I'm with you there. Amputechture's my favorite too, but then again, I still haven't listened to Frances all that much. As for the others, it doesn't sound like I'd like Sparta much, but I haven't heard any of At the Drive In either.

Best Instrumental Song Ever?
The Edgar Winter Group's Frankenstein's really good. Kansas's The Wall is also one of my favorite instrumentals. But my favorite instrumental is Jessica, Allman Brothers Band.
