  1. Went from 1 - 34 dg today, using only TOG, resource dungeon entry rewards and penguin points. Now time to tackle the skill proper. To Daemonheim! :twss:
  2. I heard I just got my pony riding license. :twss: *runs to the stables*
  3. World of Fantasy, by Helloween.
  4. Still some skills left, so I guess work in progress. But you're doing OK so far. Keep up the pace and you'll get those skills to 60 in no time.

    Limewire shut down

Anti-piracy movement is like trying to kill a hydra. Swipe one head off, and two more will grow back. It's a lost fight from the start. But I guess money dictates everything now. Should be interesting to see if they can pull off their bold plans to silence all torrent sites and trackers. My guess is, they'll fail miserably, resulting in a permanent DDOS attack by angry 4channers.
  6. Thanks for the nice comments and rates <3: Oh btw those are not 12021 desert robes, they're druid's robes. I'm partially responsible for them rising about a year ago from ~25gp each to well over 100 each. Now a few groups continue merching them. Never letting my stack go.
  7. One day I was just killing some cows, but then I found a cowhide. Fast forward 8 years, and I've finally reached 99 constitution hitpoints! A few people were there to dance. Completely unrelated to the picture...............Or is it? :twss: After that I went to pay a visit to an old love.... and almost died. Oh and also here's my lovely bank, which is full of stuff I don't use on a regular basis. Yeah, no chaotics because I don't DG. Nor do i have any rares. And I sold my sgs, because 400LP EE is so much better. Aaaaand that's it for today. Tune in next time... whenever that is... for ehm, something else. You may now troll.
  8. Hmm... Maybe try swapping the priest robes for a black wizard robe and black skirt? I don't know, but I think the colour of the hood would match with them better.
  9. First post made me facepalm a bit. No present day technology will ever enter Runescape. This is not EVE! Besides that, the world gate you speak of hasn't been opened for many ages. Guthix is asleep, so probably no one who would operate it, or even know its location. We'll have a better chance of the wilderness returning to it's limitless state, than this. Oh and learn to spell. Don't they teach that in school anymore?
  10. Bring my white partyhat back please. :boohoo: Other than that i'd say the only thing I miss is limitless trade. It's becoming clear that no matter what Jagex does to fight botters, it just does not work long-term. As we all know, trade limit was one of the more extreme approaches. The whole game suffers from it direly, and it gets worse over time. Maybe if the previous free state of things were to be restored (with a certain catch of course), it would also solve the current ridiculous state of the runescape economy. No need for junk then. ;-)
  11. They're from WGS so your only about 2 years late Way to mis-read the pic... It's not about the shady strangers. Pigs in the pen used to be smaller. Like, much smaller. This one is huge. I travel through draynor every few days, so I would've noticed. This is a recent change. Funny in a sense, though.
  12. I don't remember it being this big before. :ohnoes: Bacon ingame soon, maybe? :shades:
  13. Oo! What was your previous RuneScape name that you are listed under on the highscores?: Veyron27 What is your current RuneScape display name?: Tsar What Tip.it highscore list(s) are you currently added to?: P2P
  14. (topic may not be as refined as should be, I'm not a native english speaker) Hello. As a long-time user of Tip.it, I've seen the evolution of the forums over the years. From humble Scapeboard, to the old PhpBB architecture, to the present IPB system. What I've read about IPB implies that it gives the forum user a great number of tools how to customize their threads and posts, from simple text colouring to more intricate options like tables, threadwide custom CSS, in-thread navigation, media integration and so much more. The forum system comes as a whole package, meaning every option or tool is already installed. When setting up a forum, the administrator(s) can choose to disable some options, should they find them unnecessary. But here's the thing. Where do you draw the line what's necessary and what's not? This being a Runescape-themed forum, it seems only natural that users want to create topics showing their daily lives in-game. And every one of them does it for a reason - to get noticed, and gain support, to carry on with their goals and adventures and make new friends. A simple real-life example illustrates it. Let's say you're going to a book store, and choosing a book. You don't have any pre-determined criteria to look for. So you'll pick up a random book. First thing you'll do is look at the cover, and then the back, and only then do you flip through it to get a glimpse of how it's written. Maybe even buy it, if you like it. We can actually draw a comparison to the Blogscape subforum from this. There are hundreds of blogs there, like there are hundreds of books on a shelf inside a store. You click on a random thread, the page loads. The next minute or two, you're staring at what can only be described as a plain field of text, including some basic content grouping in the form of hide tags, with a few ingame screenshots thrown in for good measure. Thread after thread, the blandness continues. The text written may be good, even entertaining. However, it reminds you of the websites back in the 90s. Amateurish, limited and unwelcoming. The first assumption to make is that the users simply don't bother with design and layout. It being a waste of time maybe But then you want to create a thread of your own and it all comes together to you. TIF just doesn't give it's users any tools whatsoever. To me, it's basically the same list we had when we were still running on the PhpBB architecture. Another RS fansite, Zybez, has the exact same IP Boards forum system, on which they built their Runescape Community (RSC) forums. Now, when one looks at the topics in their Runescape Achievements subforum, it becomes crystal clear that the admins of Zybez have given their users much more freedom and choice. Every blog is beautifully finished, you have little to no loosely put together topics, and even they are work-in-progress. The list of tools are over twice the size of Tip.it's. If I wanted to make a blog about my goals and achievements, what forum would I choose? The answer is - not Tip.it. I don't want to move over to RSC. Tip.it has grown too much on me, to discard it. But here's my suggestion. Enable more options in the Other Styles list when a user creates/edits a thread. Must-haves in my opinion would be: AnchorJump-ToTable making options including Table, TR, TD, etc...Hide (currently you'll have to write the code to trigger it manually)P (as in Paragraph) These are just some of the features available, disabled in Tip.it, but enabled in RSC. I see no reason whatsoever why they were left out in the first place. To illustrate what I suggested, here are a few broad examples. Random thread from Blogscape: http://forum.tip.it/...s-diyer-thread/ Random thread from RSC Achievements (with suggested options enabled): http://forums.zybez....s-achievements/ Choice was completely random, there was no picking one over another. Simply showing the comparison between our forums and theirs. Ok, that's my 5 cents. Open for discussion. I hope not for flaming, though.
  15. This is going to be an epic race! Here's hoping Colo will win <3: Slay on!
  16. Gratz!! Nice achievement tbh. Going for 200m XP? Here's hoping you'll make it.
  17. To use the gnome advanced course starting at level 82 until 85, it's actually better to use agility potions instead. 4 doses per inventory - 4 laps. Boosts agility +3 levels. No hassle of calling familiars, or the huge and unnecessary cost of using summer pies. You'll fail regardless of your boosted level, up to level 89, so it makes near as no difference what booster you'll use. Might aswell be the one easier to operate.
  18. Ok simple enough. Starting with 99,656,940. First off, cut 2 willow logs. 2x67.5 xp will put you at 99,657,075. Then cut 4 normal trees, giving 100 more xp, putting you at 99,657,175. Finally, cut 1959 yew logs, and only yew logs, to gain 342,825 xp, reaching 100,000,000 xp exactly.
  19. Honestly, I'm not interested in this. The Jungle will be yet another niché product, much like the iPad is. It's for the people who already own a laptop (or two), want to try out new gadgets as they come, and have the wallet to match. Despite being a mild gadget-savvy person myself, I wouldn't buy the Jungle. I'd much rather be inclined towards a MacBook or a similar size, full featured portable. Just my 2 cents.
