    Medal of Honor

Hmm... define: Epic fail > log in to log out Needs moar testing.
  2. I'll believe it when I see it on a store shelf. Until then, Duke Nukem Forever remains as the king of vaporware to me.
  3. Friend just sent this to me: define: Epic fail > log in to log out I guess this game isn't ready to be launched yet.
  4. Any editing/retouch done at all? To me, it looks just like a plain screenshot by the orb of oculus. Hardly considered a wallpaper. I would give him points for picking such a unique place to take one, though. Edited the original in Photoshop: http://img835.images...etonsrework.png Good screenshot though.

  6. Bank need's a full-on cleanout. Not joking here. It's a royal mess! Reserve one evening to do it and you'll feel much better afterwards. I reckon 100 free slots are a guaranteed result. Nice stuff in the last tab and also very fine charm count tbh. I might have missed something, I saw a scythe hidden somewhere between more junk. Couldn't find the bunny ears. The stats look like those of the standard high-end PvM'er, whilst lacking 95 prayer. I think you'd do great at GWD or TDs. Some noncombats still require work. 6/10 for the bank, 7/10 for stats.
  7. Sorry tip.it The primary site I use for info would be RS Wiki. The sheer scale of it all dwarfs every other fansite out there. Plus frequent updates to popular articles and any user can modify an article should there be errors in it. Overall, it's much more comfortable to use than tipit and other fansites. I don't see any competition to them. Zybez is great for its calculators. RuneHQ for it's dated, but still useful house planner. Tipit has a number of useful calculators too, and a nice equipment setup planner (which, by the way is still ridden with issues regarding the categorization of items). I still use tipit forums, the community is awesome, though it certainly has seen better years. RSC is great aswell. Haven't used other forums, so can't compare. My vote goes to RSwiki, then.
  8. 1 construction? *rage* :wall: A perfectly useful skill, especially for a pro slayer. You most definitely have a lot of trophy heads in your bank and stockpiles of money. If you wanted to, you could get 99 construction in 1-2 days, and wouldn't even notice it. Build a pretty house, mount your trophy heads and party some. The other 4 skills level 1 I can actually understand. They stand at borderline useless for me too. Could live without them, easily. Anyway, back to the achievement... Uhh 100m xp in hp is almost certainly a great achievement. Good luck with reaching 200m. 9/10 to the homeless guy.
  9. Thread title pretty much summed it up for me. However it's great that you have a set of nice goals to aspire to. Maybe you can even achieve them all. 1/10 for now.
  10. Construction. Always holds a special place in my heart. I've spent alot of money to design and build my dream POH, but I've yet to max the skill out. It'll happen eventually. AND Cooking. It was my first 99, achieved it in 2005. And it's the one skill I plan to reach 200M xp in. When will that happen, I've no idea yet.

    Jealousy

Let's see... Bunny ears. Got them. Scythe. Have. Short username. Uh huh. Ely or divine shield. FML. Only have a spectral. Jealous. Partyhat. Sold it. Bad move. Jealous. 99 herblore / prayer / slayer. Jealous. 99 runecrafting. Don't want. Still jealous.
  12. Uhh alright. <_< One thing I learned today. That it was a mistake to vent a little in this thread. Obviously it wasn't taken lightly, just like all previous anti-efficiency posts. Freedom of speech, when xpx is present = DENIED. I'm out of here. Good luck to you all.
  13. Oh joy! Another controversial thread. Here's my stand on the issue: Efficiency is utter BS! "Oh look, I can be efficient in a computer game that most people play for fun, and in return I get to rub it in their faces just because I get more XP per hour than them." Hmmm... Should I be scared that a gang of spreadsheet-wizards are considering themselves to be the elite group of players, just cause they think they know what's "right" and what's not? Let me think...... Nope. I am perfectly fine the way I am. So-called inefficient and using cost-effective, slow ways to train skills rather than blasting through the levels ASAP. It suits my casual playing style. Why should I pay a ridiculously huge premium to reach a certain skill level a few hours/days sooner? I don't want to get there fast, but I want to get there eventually. I don't know every statistical information about the game, how this affects that, and vice versa. Nor do I want to. Knowing too much corrupts. Elitism is exactly like that - corrupt, irresponsible and selfish. There is no right way to train a skill, just as there is no wrong way to do it. Stop bickering about statistics and go have some fun already!
  14. Alright I'll be honest. Your stats are pretty good for 4 years of casual playing. My only concern is that you haven't started training slayer. Level 56, with all due respect is utterly rubbish. Judging by your 99's, it would seem you like to train skills which don't generate alot of income, if any at all. Training slayer up into the 80s or 90s would allow you to build your bank value up to a more respectable sum, get a decent set of armour, weapons, supplies, and so on. So okay, you do barrows runs. Thats fine. But most of the time, the bloody chest only contains a small amount of runes, which don't even pay for the trip itself. And the uncommon times the chest does contain something else, it's usually worth under 1 mill anyway. If I were you, I'd do something about the bank. Now! 6/10 stats. 1/10 bank. Have a nice day.
  15. Figured it was cheaper to keep to one MMO, than switch the game every year. Was mildly tempted to join WoW back in '06, but I guess RS had already grown on me so much by then. Besides, as far as I've noticed, all other MMO's rely heavily on combat in their gameplay, to the point where there is little else to do than kill kill kill. RS has certainly proved to be more flexible in that area, with their non-combat skills, and various minigames. And that's another reason why I've stayed.
  16. *bump* It's a... what looks like a cake with eyes. Dunno, correct me if I'm wrong. 8/10.
  17. Reporting bots doesn't make you a player moderator. Stop trying! Or grow up before playing the game.

    The new faces

I'd rather have an ugly face than have no face at all.
  19. This being TIF, posting a thread NOT containing either 1. 99 Slayer (THE SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT 99 FOR ALL TIFERS, BECAUSE COMBAT IS FTW) 2. 96+ Summoning (BECAUSE A YAK IS MANDATORY TO REMAIN EFFICIENT IN A GAME MEANT TO BE PLAYED FOR FUN) 3. 96+ Herblore (BECAUSE YOU ARE OBSOLETE IF YOU DON'T HAVE OVERLOADS AND DON'T MH) 4. All of the above (BECAUSE THE RICH CAN DO IT, SO MUST YOU) is treated with overwhelmingly negative replies. We've arrived to a point, where if you don't have those stats, you're automatically labeled a n00b. All threads you make will contain posts like "not worth creating a thread for this". Careful observation can tell that roughly 1/4 of the regulars on TIF's Rate This board are trolls, who pride themselves about making everyone else feel bad. Unless you have the above stats. Then they'll be nice. Somewhat. But the truth is, we all have to start somewhere. Ideally, a first 99 should be something you feel certain you'll achieve. Take it as a training exercise for future 99's to come. It doesn't matter if the gang of cynics on an internet forum don't like it. An achievement is an achievement. If you are happy with the result, it's all that matters.
