  1. I'd say see if friends want to buy it for market, then check Tip.It chats or any other chats you visit. If no one you know wants it, GE it. Unless you have a ton of junk...
  2. I have been a Green Bay Packer fan as long as I can remember. Brett Favre was the quaterback for the Packers since I started watching football. I could say a lot of good, and a lot of bad things about him and his career right now. I, however like to hold myself above that. I lived in Minnesota for 2 years; my boss, neighbors, class mates, and everyone I saw seemed to be a Vikings fan. I even talked to two of the Vikings players in a Wal Mart while wearing a Packers hoodie. I've heard every joke and mockery possible, and I have never retaliated on their remarks or comments, ever. I'm proud of that. I get Vikings fans bashing me on Facebook and various other places constantly - with never a response. With this, I give you a Fox Sports news article: Brett Favre's career: an obituary. [spoiler=If you don't want to click the link, expand this.]Posted: November 21, 2010, 5:28 p.m. CT By Bo Mitchell FOXSportsNorth.com MINNEAPOLIS Brett Favre's career, age 20, of Hattiesburg, Miss., lost its courageous battle with age, injury, controversy and effectiveness and "passed away" with current and former teammates by its side on Sunday, Nov. 21, at Mall of America Field. Whether the Vikings lopsided loss to the Packers actually winds up being the final game of Favres career is moot because, for all intents and purposes, its over. Sundays 31-3 loss will be his Favre's last meaningful game. That it came against the team for whom he starred and built his legend for 16 years is fitting, almost poetic, and was the only thing that gave the game a shred of meaning for the likely Hall of Famer. This ones got me at a loss for words, Favre summed up afterward. Disappointing would be an understatement. With his Vikings buried at 3-7, the Super Bowl run for which he returned is no longer a possibility. Mathematically theres still some hope theres still a chance, but cmon, Favre said. Weve got to play a lot better. Favre sidestepped repeated questions about whether he was considering retiring or finishing out the season. Id like to finish the season differently than today and last week I want us to somehow turn this around, he said with a shrug. Favre sounded like a man who still wanted to salvage something of value from a season that has skidded into the ditch, not unlike hundreds of cars did on icy Twin Cities roads after an overnight sleet storm. But at the same time, as he is wont to do, Favre also sounded like he had some things he wanted to sleep on. Im just going to try and go home and, tough as it may be, digest what has happened not only today, but in the last few weeks and come in tomorrow and reevaluate things, Favre said. He repeated his plans to go to work Monday and evaluate things a few more times possibly indicating he has just about had enough. His body language certainly oozed frustration and exhaustion during and after Sundays beat down by he Vikings' chief rivals. Yet, Favre also said, Im very content with my career. Right now, this hurts. Last week, same feeling. Immediate retirement seems extremely unlikely. Favre being benched would seem to be a much more likely possibility. However, asked if he thought about pulling Favre at some point Sunday, head coach Brad Childress said he didnt see the upside and later noted he would have liked to have seen Favre complete a higher percentage of passes and not turn the ball over. Not seeing the "upside in turning things over to Tarvaris Jackson speaks volumes. If that doesnt tell you all you need to know about T-Jacks perceived ability, nothing will. Perhaps that assessment will change after Childress and his staff get a look at the tape on Monday and review, among other things, the three-and-outs, turnovers and overthrows. Yet, it should also tell you something that Favres 51.2 passer rating Sunday was only his fourth worst of a season in which he has thrown 17 interceptions and 10 touchdown passes. It just seems like its not our year, the defeated quarterback concluded. Brett Favres career was preceded in death by the Vikings 2010 playoff aspirations and is expected to be followed soon by Childress Vikings coaching career. Regardless of its frustrating final chapter, Favre's career is survived by most of the passing records in the NFL record book. A memorial service and visitation for Favres career will take place in Canton, Ohio, in 2016. I'm not sure about the Packer's chances at the play offs, superbowl, or even taking the division over the Bears, but no matter the outcome, I can sit here silently, and smile.
  3. BGS. It was cheapest and I wanted a gs to get me to 99 str. It worked.
  4. Spooferfish... I had a green spotted puffer that my mom got me from her work at a tropical fish warehouse (which is where i work now:P) Whos name was Spoof. I don't know why I named him that, but that was his name. When I started RS I didn't really have a name online for anything... So when my brother intorduced me to RS I tried "spoof" but it was taken, and I was disappointed. I sat there thinking and watching him swim around looking for something to murder (he was a violent little fella) and thought of Spooferfish. [spoiler=A Green Spotted Puffer.] It was awesome watching him side 'step' attacks from crayfish and rip their arm off and eat it, then go back and finish them off... <3: Oh how I miss him.
  5. As much as I would love to see free trade return, I don't think it would work at this point in time. We have gone too far, and done too much focused around the GE for it to just disappear. It wouldn't physically disappear but it would not be used enough to make a difference. It would go back to world 1/2 to sell stuff. Which I hated. So I guess I don't mind the GE so much. It makes selling my stuff a lot easier...at the preset-market price... :wall:
  6. Spooferfish - he wears a lot of Orange, and I like that.
  7. I was mining in the Varrock west mine. I ran up to Varrock, won two duels, then lost one. Then I dueled a bunch in Lumbridge, then I had to leave for school. After school I started some skills and quests. :P
  8. Handegg.. Or as Americans call it football. Here is just 3 simple reasons for the name of the sport to be changed This part makes sense I guess. It is already known as football, and always has been. If it were changed, no one would call it by the new name anyway. Maybe the word foot is in reference to the shape of the ball..somehow? I dunno why it is called that, lazy people named it perhaps. There is a lot of running involved..lol A football is a ball. a FootBALL, is a ball. Perhaps we can follow trend and change the name of soccer to handball? Don't use feet much (directly) in football, don't use hands in soccer. The names of soccer and football are fine. Leave them. :)
  9. As far as I know you just drop it, get 99 in other skill, then telegrab the untrimmed cape. I have no idea how legal it is though :s

  23. Talk to a war vet.. Or people that were good at high school football and then done nothing else with their lives. Guess they might not be communities though... Anyway, I'd like duel anywhere. Or free trade. MAN! I had totally forgot about Duel anywhere. I remember being in Karajama Volcano fighting lessers are level 45 ish (after getting protect from melee). After scoring a rune med or running low on prayer, have someone duel you, unequip all your items and free trip to Lumby. Best teleport in the game it was ;D I had someone offer to do that for me after I beat the dragon, then they ran when i got low on hp and tried to let the skeles/lessers kill me :( Dueling for training spots was also cool. Too many people there? Duel it out and winner keeps spot, lol
  24. FINALLY! Looking forward to halloween event after work tonight too. :D
