You buy bandos and a dfs once. Gotta have prayer level (costs money..usually. although just once) Then prayer potions... Wearing DFS while meleeing on any task that is not called skeletal wyvern or scabarite automatically qualifies you as a "noob who wears the funniest things". Why? And I agree with whoever said this is a lot of personal preference... Because a rune defender is better and is easy to get and costs nothing. Preference...I like having more defense.

How are you not allowed to post anywhere else? Anyway, moved to proper forum. They do lower your range bonus by 1. Perhaps snakeskin or frog leather would be beneficial here, and I believe they are both cheap. EDIT: Ranger Boots (15m) +8 range attack bonus Frog Leather Boots(400gp) +2 range attack bonus Snakeskin Boots(24k) +3 range attack bonus Maybe try one of those?

I've seen people at Infernal Mages and Bloodvelds in Rune, or other melee armor, and told them it would probably help to wear some sort of dragon hide instead. They called me a dumb noob.
