You cannot expect a fictional character to come and whoop the scammer in afterlife. why not get spiderman to throw a web on him and bring him to you? Only Meili seem to have actually read the post and answering to it. 1. he is not complaining he died. 2. the lvl 104 did not kill him, he called his friend to kill him AND no it wasn't a PJ. Jesus ppl read AND think before you post your replies. On topic: i agree with meili, he must have been just provoking the lvl 90something to make him loose his concentration. And you should watch your language out there, no1 likes to be called by names. Killing trainers is low but some people get kicks out of it, just like abyss pkers think they're so cool when they can kill someone with no food and no pray but tele away when fought back.

Ever since the teak and mahogany trees came out i've had debates about their purpose. So here is my claim once more: they are for carpentry skill. Think about it, from what wood are expensive furniture made out of? teak and mahogany. So, teak and mahogany are for carpentry. and since they were gonna come out this month... carpentry might be close. it might be, not gonna happen in this month at least.

Now that i think about it, after i started getting kc to 20 i only started getting bolt racks and bloods. before i had never gotten racks from barrows, ever. i'll do some testing sometime and see what happens.

Well, we all remember Leesters' tests about the kc and it seemed that with 20kc the drop rate of barrows items is 2x higher than with kc 6. no matter what anyone says, i'm a firm believer of that and i will get 20kc every time i'm down there just in case. there is also another reason for this, lately EVERY dam time my ladder and chestdoor are adjacent but i have to go through the whole maze to get there so i don't want to risk my life because it's so long walk/run. :D btw, again on dry streak. 50 or so trips, no drops. EDIT: Trixstar, did you do anything out of the ordinary? i just don't get it how it is possible... :shock:

Still you should report it. there are at least some dutch pmods who could translate if jagex wanted to dig into it. and since jagex is going for german rs as well as japanese rs, i think that they might have someone who can speak or understand dutch.

I agree with lightning there. I am not a mod or anything but i have some mod friends and if something like that happens to me, one of them usually can come to meet me in that place and report them also. report and ignore are miraculous things. once in 2 weeks i clean up my ignore list in hopes that the person i ignored has "cured" and become more rational or that he is banned. Getting mods from tip.it is kind of weird thought, since most of the respectful ppl from here are mods, like hohto, trixstar (i think), ltangel, duke_freedom and many others. and of course, our very own lightning. :) But i think jagex also sees the problem with the players now. there is also another problem, with the vast growing community it has to be hard to find honest and good players to make them mods. sometimes they will get mistaken and make a mod out of someone who isn't that good and honest, it's bound to happen. but so far every mod i've seen have been nice and polite and not abusing their powers (which imho should be added so that they can use certain mod-account and be invisible to do some mod stuff).

I hate u. you have to be the guy getting all my barrows item chests. :evil: Free barrows items please? :D but i agree, 1m in 3 hours... pfft. with greens u can make 1.8m in that time. barrows... only god knows how much u can make, 20 mins per trip if u get kc up high so 9 trips and u COULD make 27m. but that would require some insane luck at chest.

If someone actually worries so much about losiing 15,25k i will adopt him and give him that amount of money. Plus if they bought rune claws the day before dragon claws came out they couldn't afford the new claws even if they hadn't bought the rune ones. Both specs i suppose. i think all the weps should have spec in p2p, would be funny to hit double 5 with bronze dagger (s) spec. Plus, i didn't even know that people actually use claws, i allways felt they are a bit cheap weapon, allthough black ones look nice.

Here's how karma worked for me the other day (includes my own carelesness): I was at barrows and got dharok in tunnels, so i go down there and kill some skeletons and other npc's to get KC over 20. i go in the door at NW side and go down the tunnel that leads to SW room, there's a lvl 76 or something asks me what to do down there. so i start explaining him how thigns work and stuff. i also see him get attacked by karil and tell him to go through a door and supply him with food and a prayer pot. he kills karil and goes to chest. while he is passing through his chest door Dharok attacks me. i drink pray pot, switch to mage gear, pray pot again, equip spell and pray pot again. then the guy pm's me something again so i write him a pm and start answering his question. [at this point everyone knows what's going to happen] so i look at my char and see me redbarred, i quickly eat, heal up to 48 with sharks, drink pray pot and die. then i pm the guy that i helped in hopes that he hasn't left the barrows yet. but he had. oh well, lost like 300k worth of stuff. woulda been a big deal for him though. as i understood he wasn't so wealthy player and 300k would have made his day. as for me, i laughed. it was my own stupidity that got me killed so no1 to blame but me. only thing that bugged me is that i had to go walk to ghost town to get my ecto back and the fact that some other guy might have got my loot and not the nice lvl 76.

there are few mistakes in that story: 1. all the experienced players were not pkers. 2. There were more than 4 world, i use to be on #5 so do the math. 3. i *think* that the person u pulled the cracker got the phat and u got an item, this could be random though.

It is their site, is it not? If someone were badmouthing you, wouldn't you ban them from doing it again? And don't say "he was being polite about it" because obviously he wasn't. You guys complain about their banning policies way too much. Don't do anything borderline, and you won't be banned, that simple people. i disagree with you on one thing. The main, and very very importand&crucial, point in this is that Jagex is running a customer support based business. That is why a good reputation is important to have both ingame and official forums. When word gets out that they ban people on absurd reasons, be it truth or rumor, it naturally affects on players and the people that pay for the game in behalf of their children. (this is basic situation in all consumer based services, which i have alot of experience of.) as i do understand the massive amount of abuse reports and like that flow in to jagex by wanna-be-mods there has to be some mistakes, that is only human from them, no matter how good person is a mod in the CS he is bound to make at least one mistake every now and then. This is what results in rants how ppl got banned unjust etc. and unfortunatelly it spreads the word how bias (i think it's the right word) the CS is. again i must emphasize that these are rumors, i don't know any figures about unjust/just bannings(, all i know is that droolman is not in the highscores). That is why it is stupid for you to say that it is their site, they can do anything they want. allthough it is true it is stupid to act like a totalitarian government and run stuff through without listening to the community. i personally barely ever use official forums, and if i do i check the certain forums and only reply to posts that ppl seem to be more mature and not the shift1!!!-guys.

Uhh.. yeah? that's what he said... seems like cyber marridge and stuff like that are part of the teenage culture, maybe some ppl are too shy to make deeper connections with ppl irl and they have to do it in the net. and it is alot easier to talk deeply in msn than irl. and it is alot easier to pose as someone else also. but acting as a girl in rs... okay... :roll:

you forget the fact that it's steel and not iron. allthough the percentage of steel is wrong in the game (2 coals and 1 iron) it can be thought to be stainless steel. steel forms the kind of "cube" (sry i don't know the english words for this so i have to use really basic[aka. non-scientific] terms) whre iron and coal particles are really close to each other because of their orbital powers. that makes steel quite resistant to rusting and takes long time to rust, hence it's stainless steel. in a cannon however, it would take so much pressure and heat that it is impossible to create with a mere cannon as is represented in the game. in same pressure and heat the coal should turn to diamonds or at least start the process but because of the impurity with the coal (iron) it would form some kind of jewel. i think ruby comes from iron mixed coal. not sure, don't hold me on that one.

and the sad part is that when you really attack them and they notice that you can fight back they telly out or run. but it's fun to see their little scary [wagon] run to edge and then switch. plus i then know that i've made rcing through abyss a little easier to someone.

agreed, then again i don't like to train combat much. good job though =)
